When it comes to food and pastries, Starbites is usually great because the meals taste fresh and are quite affordable. The East legon branch is quite spacious, and it tends to be quite busy. You can't go wrong with the taste. The service could be better as the waiters tend to be inattentive. We had to signal the waiter more than 3 times before the menu was brought, and then he forgot the pancakes that we ordered. Finally, getting the waiter to bring the bill also took quite a bit of time. It was a bit annoying with the inattentive nature of the waiter and also for where we sat, the was an occasional smell from the drains that wafted through every now and then, making the whole experience somewhat disappointing. Regardless, the food is always good.

Popular pork joint inside North K. I haven't seen so many people at a pork joint before as I did at this place. The fried pork is delicious and not fatty at all, it is usually fried dry and tastes like beef. It's delicious. There's a drinking spot right next to it so you can have your drinks to accompany the meat. Only downside is that they close too early. If you're not lucky you won't get any meat by 9PM. It will be finished.

I love Mawuli Chop Bar. The food is always good. The variety of soups is delicious and I am yet to be disappointed. I go there at least once a week to enjoy the soft fufu with palm nut soup. The prices of the proteins are a bit on the high side in my opinion. Regardless it’s a good place to have your omo tuo and fufu on the weekends.
