Beautiful theatre. Some seats are narrow and some.have restricted views. Have seen some amazing musical theatre shows here. Staff are always friendly.
The foyer is quite small and can get pretty crowded with people queuing for souvenirs and those waiting for their seats before the auditorium is open.
I would advise for you to take your own snacks, they're quite pricey in the theatre.

Great to see a new park in the area. It was really busy but lots of equipment and apparatus so kids were kept busy and had lots of fun in the fresh air.
Stayed at the touring park which was lovely.
I've never seen toilets and showers so nice in a touring park. They were immaculate.
The staff were so friendly.
We visited blakemere village and the woodland. Was a lovely weekend.

I was travelling from Manchester to visit the Theatre Royal and the Birchley Street car park seemed close to the theatre when I was looking for parking.
The car park has lots of bays, quite a few pay stations where you can pay with cash or via an app and was accessible via two different roads.
On Sundays and bank holidays parking here is free and when I've visited on a Saturday afternoon it was very reasonable.
No issues when returning to the car. Will park here again when I visit St Helens.

Was visiting a restaurant nearby and this car park was recommended to me. The spaces are quite small and markings on the floor are not very visible. There are columns everywhere! I managed to find a space as I drove in on the first level but I had no idea where other levels were. Some spaces had numbers against them on the floor but no explanation on the walls as to what these numbers were so I stayed away from these in case they were allocated spaces and I got a ticket!
I used the app to pay when I was leaving. I had already installed the app on my phone so when I opened to leave it new my entry time. I paid £5.45 for 2 hours plus some kind of charge for 55p so it made it £6!
I used the car park on a Tuesday evening. It's wasn't too busy but plenty of people coming and going. I'm not sure I'd use it at the weekend or during peak times as I found it very stressful finding a space.
The stairwell from-1 to the exit was full of puddles.
