This is a great place to eat. The waiters are all charming and fun to talk to, the menu is filled with excellent food which comes in giant servings.
I had a salad with a steak on it. I was imagining a few shrivelly bits of chopped up steak on top but it was a full New York strip (I think). It was the best steak I ever had and the salad just made it better.

Incredibly hard work, very steep, very boggy but the most spectacular views! And the staircase to the observation tower... Don't miss it... It's very easy to miss but if you go down to the beach, don't be tempted to take the stairs that you see first. Those are the boring ones. Go right down onto the beach and look to your left. Someone has kindly painted an arrow on the rocks. It looks like the arrow points nowhere but behind a crag of the rock is a staircase hidden inside a crevice of the rocks. It's an amazing experience. Very well built and strong, very safe. The climb is a hard one but there are plenty of rest stops on the way. At the top is a lookout tower and if you're really bold, you can continue right out onto the point... It's another 3.5 km, though, and very boggy after the rain, and somehow seems to be uphill both ways. You can see all of York harbour and all of Lark harbour too. Incredible!
Always love the theater. I've seen some great shows here.
This is a nice playground. It has something for every child, all three of my kids, aged 6-10 enjoy it, and have done since they could first walk.
There are only two drawbacks:
1) there are no trees and no shade. In summer it can be very uncomfortable
2) there's a back entrance which would be safer for kids to use since they wouldn't have to go beside the busy street, however someone feels that the back entrance should always be locked, which is stupid. Two exits is safer in case of emergencies and the back entrance would make it more accessible to more kids.
