Not knowing much about Paris, pleasant to see this river actually runs through the city and taking a boat ride or tour down this river is a very nice way to see Paris. We used the river boat as a taxi with hop on / off access so it was very convenient to see the major sites in Paris. So many great picture spots along the river too!

This mall is usually quiet and you can find good deals. Go shopping on the weekdays to avoid large crowds.

A suitable water park for locals in the area. The waterslides are great for the kids and adults. Their pool is huge and they have a big sitting area with chairs and umbrellas. A good place to come with your family when it's hot outside. The prices are a little high but you can spend the whole day here.
The facilities are not good... very dirty showers and toilets

If you are near to Galata Tower, this is only a 10 minute walk away. You can see the Bosphorus Sea while walking along many cafés and shops. You can watch the sunset here and get great pictures of the European Side of Istanbul.
