The second floor was closed and the 1st floor had no English translation on any exhibit. The overall display across the two floors open is very little compared to other museums. Besides the above the museum has some great pieces and very interesting information on the countries past cultures.
There's parking around the square and under it. The square has an array of stalls selling local art, plants, food and crafts. It also has a grassed area to sit and relax.

Amazing coffee, sandwiches and treats. Always worth a stop when on Thomas Street. It's takeaway with a load of seating out the back in an old part of Dublin with loads of history from the Whiskey distillery. There's an old mill and a pear tree more than 100 years old. Beautiful in flower but the fruit is more suited to jams than eating. Anytime I'm near I stop for coffee.
