Incredible gardens, architected by Beatrix Farrand. Very diverse styles but strongly integrated. Well maintained. It has me rethinking gardening and architecture.

Wonderful small museum with a nice collection of Pre-Columbian and Byzantine artifacts. Friendly staff. Price is right (free).

Stopped to get some history of the canal. A lot of work has been put into making the area an attraction, but it didn't seem that busy other than the bike trail.
