This wildlife and theme park is great for kids and adults to experience. It is claimed to be the oldest amusement park in Germany (1929) and is still ran by the same family. There are also accommodations like tree house or hotel types and meeting rooms. They also have events like Halloween. We took our two granddaughters and one of their friends there and we all had fun. The area is huge and we took many different rides together. The place is highly organised.

In summer, we always bike from Pfungstadt to Ladenburg through farms. The town has many Historical places to offer. It is located on the right bank of the river Neckar. Carl Benz was born there.

Carree Darmstadt has many shops ranging from restaurants, fast foods, bakery, beauty products and many other items for hobbies and household. They are currently surveying ideas to improve the place to attract more customers.

If you want to spend more than an hour in Darmstadt, you can park here for 5 hours at the cost of 1.50 euro. It is not concreted and can be a bit messy when it rains so wear sports shoes and not high heels (put your chic expensive shoes in a bag and change outside the parking lot when you feel comfortable walking with it). Other parking areas charge 2.50 or more for an hour.
