Great place to see glow worms, easy access to take your kids!
Just wear appropriate footwear for the mud.
You could navigate it without a torch, but too many people come through with floodlights (really bright torches)! All you need is a soft light. They need education on walking in the dark where people are trying to take photos and enjoy the glow worms!

One of Sydney’s well kept hidden treasures! Stumbled upon this museum on a random drive out enjoying the scenery of outer Sydney and you would not have realised in the heart of historic south western Sydney is this gem, filled with stories and reminders of everything that has shaped modern Australia. The team here are absolutely lovely and take so much pride in keeping the stories alive. The exhibits are a bit dated but only add to the charm. There is a lot to learn and ponder in this small but well maintained and volunteer run museum. Well worth the stop!
We visited the Power house Museum last January , we just walked from one museum to another. No entrance fee .

Highly recommended when visiting Sydney. It has memorable artifacts from Australian railroads space travel and many more. Lots of interesting displays.
A great public gallery, plenty of variety. There's weird, modern stuff for the trendy crowd. But also lots of quality, older work for those who appreciate aesthetics. The horse skins are a low point, Chiharu Shiota's 'Absence embodied' was a highlight. Overall, a couple of hours well spent.

🍓🌿 Delightful Family Outing🌿🍓
If you're seeking a memorable outing that combines wholesome fun with delicious rewards, look no further than the Beerenberg strawberry farm. Nestled amidst picturesque Hahndorf German village, this farm offers an enchanting experience for families and friends alike. The $5 entry fee is a steal for the joy it brings. 🍓 Abundant, Juicy Strawberries!!! The star of the show, of course, are the strawberries themselves. Shiny, plump, and bursting with flavor, these strawberries are a testament to nature's bounty. At $11.99 per kilo, they're not just affordable but also an excellent value for their quality.

👩‍🌾 The best part? You get to be a part of the harvest! Pick your own strawberries straight from the bushes, with the freedom to indulge in a few along the way. It's an interactive experience that fosters a deeper connection with the food we eat.

After working up an appetite, head over to the on-site café for a delightful treat. Indulge in creamy, refreshing ice cream that perfectly complements the sweetness of the strawberries. It's the cherry on top of an already perfect outing.

👧👦 can have Kid-Friendly Fun here! our visit to the strawberry farm was an experience to cherish. It's more than just picking strawberries; it's about creating lasting memories with loved ones, savoring the simple joys of life, and appreciating the wonders of nature. We'll definitely be back for more berry bliss!
We trams, trains, engines, etc enthusiasts and follow them everywhere we go, ride them and visit museums, so we really had a ball and so much fun at the tram museum and enjoyed every minute of it. We highly recommend it to everyone to pay a visit 🚂🚊🚋🚎🚉🚈🚃
This was a really great day visiting Powerhouse Museum. It has a wonderful range of artifacts ranging from Movie Memorabilia, Space Travel Memorabilia and Australian Railroads Memorabilia to so much more. I found it so interesting and couldn’t recommend enough.
Loved the visit as an aviation enthusiast. A bit out of the way by public transport, there's a new entrance. But no issues with driving. Many planes on display with quite a number allowing boarding and exploring. Recommended!
Spectacular and special for transportation lovers and history buffs. This is a treat of a location for experiencing history as we live and breathe. Excellent storage maintenance and collection of a large number of tram cars and other vintage vehicles. This place is a ticketed entry. Located just beside Loftus station.
This local park is well maintained full of history with really mature and diverse trees which the birds love. The garden is currently looking very green and lush. Has a war memorial, war cannons, two pretty rose gardens, an under cover area with picnic tables and multiple picnic tables scattered throughout. Has a hollowed out tree for birds and fauna. Also has play equipment for kids. Great park to picnic or play in. We love it!
