Cute little tropical oasis tucked in Vancouver. They have an array of larger parrots and tropical plants as well as cute mice that are a part of the ecosystem. It is very small and does not take a long time to walk through. Not sure if it's worth the cost of entry and parking, but it is cute.
A very beautiful and peaceful place to meditate and contemplate.
Lost Lagoon Park, adjacent to Stanley Park in Vancouver, offers serene beauty with its picturesque lake and lush surroundings. Perfect for a peaceful escape amidst the city hustle.
Great place to visit. I just wish it was bigger. Lots of birds in easy view for kids and more birds flying around to keep an eye out for. I died a little when I saw all the bromeliads that are growing there. Great view over looking the city and mountains from outside the conservatory as well. Friendly and helpful staff to!
Great conservatory!!! There are tons of birds and so much to explore! Absolutely worth checking out. No appointments required and you can purchase ticket right there. No time limit so feel free to explore as long as you want!
A bit difficult to stop with the car when there are more than 4 cars parked, but traffic is not so bad, so we managed to get a nice view of the sunset. Wesr warm clothes in october, the wind got to our bones!

Hockley Valley Provincial Nature Preserve
Joined the Toronto Bruce Trail for a 9 km hike after a snow storm. Be prepared and bring your ice cleats as the trail is hilly.
Stopped at the Hockley Valley Resort for lunch. The resort is nice and cozy after the cold hike.

One portable, has fence around and plenty of shade
In beau parc avec belle vue du fleuve st-Laurent. Bel aménagement de balançoires et de chaises longues. Dommage qu'il ne soit plus grand et qu'il n'ait pas assez d'arbres matures. Dans ce coin-là les berges ont été envahies par les grosses maisons de gros egos riches.
Having seen historic ruins and fountains in Europe and Greece before I found the Rockeries to be disappointing and not that interesting. I think only worth a 5 minute look and to take some silly photos. And yes I did take a few of those while I was there lol
Yet the Rockcliffe park is awesome with its great space to walk your dog, look at flowers and enjoy the open fields.
I suggest that if you are in this area you walk to the nearby RCMP horse stables and go to the Aviation museum. Also bring a picnic lunch and blanket so that you can have fun bonding with nature.

Lovely hike to do if you want a bit more of a challenge than a flat hike as there's a fair bit of up and down. Snow and occasionally ice makes the steeper downhills tricky so shoes with good grip are a must, perhaps even hiking sticks would be useful. It's a somewhat varied trail with some open parts, and the occasional bridge over a stream. Most of the trails are narrow.

Aquí puedes relajarte con los paisajes y atardeceres tan hermoso que te regala Canadá. La flora es muy amigable a la vista y la fauna del lugar va desde patos y ardillas, hasta cisnes y zorros si tienes suerte. Un lugar perfecto para dar una caminata larga, meditar o andar en bicicleta. Cuenta en las proximidades con botes de basura y baños públicos limpios.

Beau parc simpliste avec une aire de jeu a thématique de pirate. Grands espaces vert pour jouer a la balle, ballon ou picniquer. Tres propre 😊
