I had a great time there the food was amazing and the service was phenomenal. I enjoyed the variety of sauces my favorites were the beef tibs and the yemisir wot I’m not at all experienced in Ethiopian food but it’s one of my favorites now
Have been curiosity about Ethiopian food for sometimes. Finally, my family’ treated me to here. Very neat, clean and beautiful restaurant with 2 floors. Decorated beautifully with many paintings and posters on the wall. Quite a lot of customers at our times visiting. Need to wait awhile although we already made reservation at 7.30pm. To my surprise, the owner also server is doing all the works like one man show all times. 😳 Order takes time but serving is fast. Admire his strength going up and down the stairs to serve many customers, yet he still can put his smiles and give recommendations .
We ordered Bayaaynatu with small serving Tibs and Gored-Gored for 5 people. Put all together into a big platter, served with injera by hand like my M’sian style. ( Can’t believe it eat by hand. Yes, eat by bare hand, fingers licking good too ) The smell and taste like curry spices like Mamak foods ( Indian and Malay cuisine ) I’m so surprise taste and etiquette ways to eat by hand are similarity as M’sian. Well, they don’t eat rice but injera ( thinly spongy like pancake or naan ) A bit pricey, portion isn’t big because 5 of us need to order 1 main dish each, added into 1 big platter costs over CAF$150++

Massively underrated cuisine! I've heard wonderful things about Ethiopian House, but they've truly surpassed all my expectations! I ordered a vegetarian platter, and each dish was prepared and served with genuine warmth. The ambiance exudes comfort and warmth, making it a truly inviting dining experience. The owners themselves are exceptionally hospitable! I'll certainly be coming back for more! Ameseginalehu.
This is my second time here, but it won't be the last. We love the food here! We got tibs and the vegetarian platter. Such delicious, colourful, bright flavours in the veggies. The meat was tender and spiced perfectly.

Best Ethiopian in town!! Lucy, her daughter niece are all super nice and give great service- the food speaks for itself so fresh and tasty, I’d give 10 stars if I could!:)
I was there with my family during Family Day. Nice restaurant with a good experience. We ordered plate with different vegetables, meat and injera. I know well about Ethiopian food and learned how to make different dishes. Some how good quality injera(flat bread) is very important. The reason I didn’t leave 5 stars today because of poor taste of injera, wasn’t fresh or well done:(
