A very nice bring your own wine with, a homey atmosphere and delicious Italian home cooking.

I’ve been looking for BYOW restaurants and particularly enjoy Italian cuisine. After searching in the Mont-Royal area with no satisfactory options, i decided to go to Laval.
This is a family-style restaurant and we were pleasantly surprised. The restaurant has a fixed menu that can be checked online. Additionally, there is a chef's special introduced on-site daily. The dishes we ordered were mostly chef specials:

- For starters, we had baked clams with a thick layer of cheese and an Italian cheese salad that was very refreshing.

- The main course consisted of roasted lamb leg, slow-cooked to perfection, and homemade Italian pasta that genuinely resembled the taste of Italy.

- For dessert, we enjoyed a homemade tiramisu and a not-too-sweet lemon tart with mascarpone.

the service was attentive. Despite the restaurant not having a luxurious ambiance, we found it to authentically capture the taste of Italy.

Lovely staff and service. From the moment we entered, we experienced a warm welcome. Tara, our server, was exceptionally kind, surprising us with a complimentary dessert for our anniversary— the French macarons were a delight!

Every dish, from the burrata with focaccia to the ricotta gnocchi, was exceptional. Our main courses, the prime striploin, and the wagyu coulotte were cooked to perfection. We will definitely come back!

I was real happy to try this shawarma but I’ve been never disappointed like this.
I mean the food was worst that’s OK my money went to garbage that’s OK but the staff they are so RUDE. Bro you are representing the culture of shawarma/Arab and being this rude. I’m trying to explain go easy on veggies but this one guy was like either you want it or you don’t want it. I can’t go easy (in a very rude way)
sad to say this but this is one of the worst restaurant in Ottawa … Thank you for this type of hospitality.

Its such a nice and cozy place. Its a family business and the care we got was amazing.
The food was excellent, i had the ceasar salad, linguine sea food pasta and hazelnut cake. Everything was fresh and so tasty. The service was amazing! Thanks!

Super belle ambiance, très chaleureuse pour un souper. Grande variété dans le menu qui contient plusieurs produits saisonniers frais de chez nous (Québec)! Les pâtes sont goûteuses, le fromage est excellent et très frais, ainsi que la viande tendre et parfaitement assaisonnée! Quoi dire du service de notre serveur qui a su nous conseiller à merveille.

Nous repasserons pour déguster d’autres de vos bons plats!

A few years ago, we had our wedding banquet here and it was amazing. All our friends and family enjoyed not only the view, but also the food. Staff were friendly and service was impeccable. The food was what we wanted and it was delicious. Thank you to all the staff that made our night a very memorable experience.

Nous avons eu une très belle soirée. Nous sommes 6 amis qui se rencontre pour déguster de bons vins avec un excellent repas et nous n'avons pas été déçus. La présentation des plats était très appétissante et savoureuse. J'ai retrouvé la saveur de l'Italie. Nous avons été accueillis par Pierre, le propriétaire qui a été très gentil et sympatique.
C'était notre première visite et ça ne sera pas la dernière.
Je vous recommande ce restaurant.
