Fabulous beers with stylish atmosphere!
Fantastic local brewery with amazing staff, beer, and food. A great place to bring a date, a group of friends, or just catch up on some work.
The bartenders, servers and managers are professional, friendly and awesome all around. The chef and kitchen staff are constantly working on the menu and improving the dishes while still delivering consistently great snacks and dinners.
The atmosphere is relaxed, and they have a giant sheltered, heated, and fully covered patio, in addition to indoor tables and benches for larger groups.
If you're not from the neighborhood, they are conveniently located a short walk from the Dundas West and Bloor GO stations, so you can just hop on public transit after having a pint. Or two. Or three.

We arrived an hour before closing to wrap up our east van brewery crawl on a Saturday a few weeks ago now and as soon as we stepped in she was rushing us and had a horrible attitude. Thankfully we maintained our spirits but would not come back purley due to the service!

This place was a staple to my summer with friends so it was lovely coming back in the colder season. We shared a couple of drinks, I loved the blackberry mule, nice winter & tangy twist on one of my faves. Decided to try a dish I don’t typically like, and north mav managed to make me a gnocchi lover! The truffled dish was absolutely delicious, and our server Kendul was very sweet and attentive!

The drink menu at Northern Maverick Brewing Co. It is cool also as the beers are all In house brews that are available at your fingertips. There is also an expensive list of drinks available for you in the cocktail sections as well. You also have a chance to try the wine that is available that is also available for you to gulp down as well.
Apart from the drinks on the menu, the food that is available is all made in house and it is quite tasty and 😋 delicious. I had a chance to try the oysters 🦪, which were presented and made to perfection and as well I had the Maverick Burger ( with no Bacon) for dietary reasons and it was well prepared and made to order as I do like my burgers with a hint of cheese 🧀.
Apart from the food and the drinks, the atmosphere in the restaurant is very relaxing and depending on the time of day you go, the music has to be pumping.
On a side note, they do have an expanded brunch menu , but I do believe that is only available on weekends.
Other than that, I had a good time at this restaurant and I will definitely be back.

The place is worth trying once. I received the full beer menu for 24$, and it was fun to explore different flavors. Also, the truffle fries were amazing.
Not sure about anyone else but my family and I dined last night around 7pm and I’m experiencing symptoms of food poisoning. I ordered brisket dinner w beans and coleslaw. Coleslaw tasted a little funky. I asked my partner to try it without telling her something was off and she said it tasted a little off. Brisket wasn’t as tender as I’d hoped. Beans were alright. But I think the coleslaw might be the culprit.
My partner ordered Mac and cheese w brisket and even her Mac and cheese tasted stale and more oily than expected.
My 8yo son ordered pizza and looked pretty undercooked. He said it even tasted a little cold.
After taking our first bites, we were surprised when a manager came out of nowhere and asked us how the food was. My partner mentioned about the Mac and cheese because she was really not happy about it. The manager was nice enough to let us order something else. She chose the cheeseburger and even the patty had a funny taste. Nothing seemed to be right in our table and just decided to finish what we could and never come back.

Great spot! We hosted a Fire services district Christmas party there and Trisha and her team put on a great event for us. We had the bar area for cocktails and then the dining room set for our group for dinner. The staff was excellent and the food was delicious. We will be back again next year!
I rented the upstairs of Brewing August for an event and from start to finish the team of Brewing August were incredibly lovely to work with! Everyone enjoyed their time at the beautiful upstairs venue and the beer was fantastic. I highly highly recommend this brewery!
It was quiet on Monday afternoon but that was fine with me. Had the Kitsilano Juicy IPA. (5.5%). Not heavy, went well with poutine. Not a big place but friendly staff.
Food : 9/10

Ask the server how the brisket dinner was. He said it was "awesome". Say no more.
He was right it was awesome. The brisket was so soft and juicy. It came with a bit is green, coleslaw, baked bean and a spicy corn bread(?) and some potato hiding at the bottom of the brisket soaking up the juice. The whole dish was delicious.
Atmosphere is nice as you're close to the water.

The view was breathtaking, and since it was my birthday, I had hoped the staff would have shown more consideration. Unfortunately, we were initially seated at a table with damaged and uneven chairs, which prompted me to request a table change. The server's response lacked any apologetic tone, making us feel like an afterthought.
Now, regarding the food, my experience was so disappointing. I ordered guacamole and chips as an appetizer, along with brisket mac and cheese as my main course. Despite requesting the appetizer to be served first, both dishes arrived simultaneously, defeating the purpose of having an appetizer. The chips were disgustingly stale, and the guacamole lacked flavor. As for the mac and cheese, the cheese sauce had separated upon arrival, leaving an unappetizing layer of thick, greasy oil on my dish. I couldn't even finish half of it.
Given my experience, I would not recommend this restaurant, especially considering its price point. You'd be better off dining elsewhere. Unfortunately, my birthday lunch was far from enjoyable.

Our waitress said it was fresh but that’s doubtful. It was very strong, so much so, that 6 milks barely changed the colour, that’s pretty strong!
We did not drink a drop of the coffee which our waitress clearly noticed but she didn’t ask if anything was wrong with it, so we let it go. Perhaps a missed opportunity to have offered us a tea or a pop instead.

Paid a couple of visits here during a trip in September - once on a Saturday night, when it was very busy, and then on a Wednesday lunch. I got to sit out on the terrace at lunch, which gives a great view of the harbour and planes taking off from Billy Bishop airport.
Food was excellent both times (Mac and cheese with beef topping and smokehouse burger) and they have a great selection of beers to match.

ビールは大体8種類くらい。 ちょっとしたライスクラッカーやサラミがおつまみとして売っている。
COVID対策で、今は室内では呑めないし、ビールフライトもやっていないが、外のパティオが充実してて居心地が良いので、天気の良い日は混み合っている、人気のブルワリー！

One of the many new breweries opening up in the Eastend. Good amount of space and I like the small-barn vibe.
They only had 3 beers on tap for my visit, and one was sold out. Tried their Belgian table beer but was not a fan. Prices for the howler seems pretty good, but individual pints seems on par with others.
I am leaving my review as 3-stars for now, but this place has potential if they can focus on making a great beer or two and build on that.
