My sister-in-law had her glasses ripped off her face and thrown down on the ground by a poor soul with Alzheimers. Consequently the glasses were bent and did not fit properly. A lovely lady at Laurier Optical at Carlingwood Mall kindly readjusted and tightened them perfectly. It was very kind of her to do this and it was very much appreciated!!! Many thanks for this excellent service!!

Came in quite a while ago for an eye exam, and they let me know I don't have to come in anymore to get my eyes checked unless I notice my vision actually changed.

And the last frame they recommended and sold me was magical. You step on it, and the sides pop off without damaging the frame. You just clip it back on, probably saved me a pair or two from careless placement.

Anyways, I came in to repair someone else's glasses, and the repairs were done super quick.

About time I left a review for their continuously great service.

I would HIGHLY recommend this clinic, not only did they accommodate a last minute appointment within 2 hours to see me, they were fantastic from beginning to end. The admin/clinic coordinators Zlata and Alison were welcoming and friendly.

Great customer service! I purchased 2 pairs of glasses for the price of 1. Unfortunately, I was not able to pick up both glasses at the same time. I learned this was because the 2nd pair of glasses had not passed the quality control test and was rejected. Even though it was a bit of a hassle to have to return to the store a second time to pick up my second pair of glasses, I appreciated the fact that they were doing everything they could to ensure my glasses were perfect! In addition, I like that they can charge your insurance company directly, if you bring your insurance card with you (Unfortunately, I had not done so). The only 'negative' is that it takes two weeks for your glasses to be ready - I wish it was a bit faster. Other than that - it was overall - an excellent experience and I would not hesitate recommending Laurier Optical to friends and family.

I was at the Laurie Optical the other day last week and thought I was not going to be able to get my contacts as I had to get my prescription as Laurie Optical did not have it, but all in all it got done now I am just waiting for my new contacts. The staff members are all quite friendly, and professional, and do recommend to go to Laurie Optical at Bayshore as they are one of the best here in Ottawa

Santa arrived in town but found his glasses needed to be changed...hard to read to the kids or the wonderful letters. Came to Laurier Optical to have them rush ordered for the busy season.
