Amazing educating experience about how it feels like to be blind for example. I went to this experience after my MSC cruise as it was close to the port of Hamburg. You get a blind guide, meaning they hire blind people for this which is great. You put everything in free lockers there before joining the guided tour in the complete dark with a white cane for the blind people. Also you have to purchase coins, 1 coin is 1 euro. With the coins you can order a drink or snack during the tour in the complete dark! The guide will serve you.

You basically start the tour with a bunch of other people. Everyone gets a cane and then proceed to enter the dark rooms together. You have to listen to the voice of the guide in order to know where to walk in the dark lol, also use your cane to navigate of course. You walk together with everyone in Complete dark rooms that resemble a restaurant/ bar, the woods, traffic etc. The guide gives you time to touch the furniture and stuff around you in the dark and to guess what those are. Then you all have to move on to the next room by listening to his or her voice and following that voice. You will sometimes have to talk out loud in order for the guide to know whether you have reached him so you can go into the next room. So no one gets left behind in a dark room.

Everything happens safely, of course sometimes you’ll bump into another person if you do not use your cane well lol. It’s a fun and humbling and educating experience.

Very interesting place my wife and I did the dialogue in silence, it was really fun and interactive, the different rooms gave us different ways to interact without a voice or being able to hear. The tour guide was deaf also and it was interesting that we got to ask questions at the end about what this was like.

We had an amazing guide called Andre, he was extremely empathetic and comical. He could guide us through the space with a gentle calm. From the moment we walked into the door we were introduced to educational games that already begin to help us question how we use our senses. I would highly recommend!

40+ dance experience. Made me feel very old. They played the 90ies music that I already disliked in the 90ies. Super friendly staff though and I got hit on for the first time in 20 years.

Worst acoustic ever for +30 euro gigs. Attended two heavy metal concerts and sound engineering was non-existent in both. Not worth attending such pricey gigs in such a bad sound-quality venue. 2 stars only for the location and smoking-free area

Both of these halls could do with more acoustic baffling to prevent echos, and also more soundproofing, as bass from one hall can easily bleed into the other, disrupting a quiet performance if the other is loud. In-house chairs are rather uncomfortable.

This was a terrific experience. It gave me a small sense of how the blind navigate this world of ours. Unbelievable how much I depend on my eyes to inform me of a situation. Our guide, Jeremy, was caring, funny and informative. I highly recommend this tour to anyone. Thank you Dialoghaus Hamburg. Antonio

Highly recommend this activity-based museum focused on teaching kids empathy. Loved the philosophy and was impressed by the execution. It’s super w cute and engaging. A perfect rainy day stop with young kids!

In the meantime, the ensemble of buildings in the Prenzlauer Berg/Pankow district, which was listed as early as 1974 because of its "unique architecture", covers an area of 25,000 m² with its six courtyards and over 20 buildings.

It all began in 1842 at Schönhauser Allee 39, exactly where "die Kulte" is still located. A pharmacist from Kreuzberg ran a small beer bar there on the outskirts of Berlin. A certain Jobst Schultheiss took it over in 1853, but later had to sell it again for health reasons. The man leaves, the name remains (...even today, Berlin beer drinkers with dry throats order a "Schulle" - a beer that can also be mixed with alcohol). which can still be intoned with an alcohol-soaked tongue).

Through modernisation and expansion, the small business grows into a large industrial brewery. A brewhouse is built in 1871, and 10 years later a refrigerating machine is added; it represents a major innovation and is unique in modern brewing technology in Germany at the time.
In order to give the rapidly expanding brewery a cohesive appearance, the architect Franz Heinrich Schwechten is commissioned in 1887 to plan an extension and conversion; a medieval castle complex serves as his model. Later, he would also design the "Gedächtniskirche" (memorial church).

Very awkward venue. Pay to see an artist there, then you have to pay for coatcheck and even to use the bathroom... the access to the bar during a show is very awkward. But the sound a lights are nice.

High level musical, comfortable seats.

We had a corporate event there. Well organised, tasty kitchen, premises designed for events.

The Tagliatelle, it's a very good plate

Amazing atmosphere that makes you want to know more about the history of this place. Also the inside is something what I'm looking for in the place where you can listen to loud music (though wear earplugs to protect your hearing). If your favourite artist plays there go for this place :-)

We are extremely happy with the way our wedding turned out, everything was perfect from the decorations to the food and very friendly service staff. Our guests were especially amazed by the iconic Spree views, they are unbeatable! A special thank you goes to Chiara and Franziska who supported us along the preparation process, which is not easy and sometimes very stressful (especially in corona times). They were open to our suggestions, came always prepared to the meetings and gave us useful advice. Best wedding party! We are already planning a 10 year anniversary party at Spreespeicher ;-). Overall, highly recommended!

Ich möchte es so beschreiben... Dieser Ort wird besonders gut, wenn man besondere Menschen um sich hat... Ich habe diese Ort als Gast einer geschlossenenen Gesellschaft erlebt und genossen. Das anwesende Personal (ich kann nicht sagen, ob es die Stamm-Crew war) war freundlich und zuvorkommend... Die angebotenen Speisen und Getränke haben mich begeistert... Auch hier kann ich nicht sagen, ob es sich um das Standardangebot handelt... Ich denke, selbst viele Worte können einen solchen Ort schwer beschreiben...

Superb equipment, great stage !
Most shows are by the musical school ,stage school' --> the performers are not professionals yet - but check that out before you go.
The audience's seating is fairly comfortable, not too many seats either --> vision is good.
There's a bar and a little outside seating area for the pause; clean bathrooms.
Easily reachable by public transportation - ten minute footwalk from altona station.

Overall: fun experience for theatre lovers as well as rookies because the show is usually a quality act but it remains affordable.

Terrasse was OK, if a bit small. Acoustics could have been better. Only two bars for 500+ people.
