Eine sehr durchmischte Stadt mit sehr vielen verschiedenen Kulturen
Amazing and modern train station. Always full of movement and activity, it is a true transport hub built for the FIFA World cup 2006. It connects long distance, regional and suburban trains with metro, tram and buses.
There is also a huge shopping center embedded full of eateries and various shops. Very safe

Tips: 1) Secret water fountain at gate B05 - you no longer need to buy 4€ bottles of water. 2)You need to book a security slot online to avoid long lines at security. This is free and easy but annoying. (I book the latest possible slot and change the time on my phone if I arrive early. 3)Skip the taxi and take the train, which is faster, right in the terminal and goes direct to many points in the city center. You can buy the ABC ticket for 4.40€ if you download the BVG Ticket App.
The airport has lots of signs but they are confusing. It is hard to navigate (even as a local). They need to hire some experts to redesign all the signs and queueing. Plan some extra time to orient yourself. Terminals C and D are upstairs. Terminal 2 is a short walk outside from the main terminal.

Thank you for nothing. Because of the malfunctioning of your bag drop tag printing I had to queue at the check in counter for no reason and wasted my extra 40 min! What a low standard of airport operation it is
Always delayed, 3 out of 3 times.
1 no staff to get the stairs to the plane sat waiting for 45mins with the door open unable to get off the plane.
2 no staff to take the baggage off the plane 45min wait.
3 barely any passport staff - had to wait 1hr total and 30 mins for my girlfriend in the EU queue that was somehow slower than the non EU passports!

If there’s anybody responsible for this airport and cares about human beings, in customers, please do something about this. I encountered severe mistreatment during my airport experience. The security officer displayed blatant racism and was exceptionally rude. Despite my urgency to catch my flight, I faced unnecessary delays as my baggage was wrongly held after the security check. The situation escalated when I was wrongly scolded for touching my own belongings. Even after confirmation from police officers that I did nothing wrong, I almost missed my flight. A security check staff member condescendingly hushed me, treating me like a second-class citizen. Despite maintaining a positive attitude and explaining my urgency, I received disrespect. Additionally, a staff member claimed not to speak English despite evidence to the contrary. In the end, police officers raised their voices. While assurances were made to address the issue, my confidence in a resolution is uncertain. Urgent attention is needed to rectify this unacceptable treatment.

Gare magnifique à l'architecture unique et immense. Même si elle est bien organisée, nous avons eu un peu de mal à nous y repérer. De fait, les indications sont trop simplistes et parfois, il était difficile de savoir où aller. Point positif: quand nous demandions de l'aide au personnel, toustes nous ont apporté leur aide gentiment.

If you have mobility issues, make sure you request special assistance 48h and are accompanied by airport stuff at all times, because if you need to use their accessibility commodities, you will miss your flight and lose your money, and whatever dignity you have.
I had crutches because I suffered an accident. They lent us a wheelchair (and we were lucky, because you need to request them 48h before, but my accident was the day before my flight).
The elevators to the boarding gates are not indicated well at all. The one for B36-37, for example, is right there, but the one for B38-39 is hidden and you need a special card (only airport staff). Also, this last one didn't work. Even with the staff's card.
We pressed the U1 button in the elevator thinking we needed to go to the bottom floor, and down it went. We got stuck in the elevator. It would not go back to the boarding gate area or the boarding gate itself. We needed to request assistance using the elevators communication system. We had to wait for 10 minutes until they came and took us out.
While we waited inside the elevator, our flight boarded. So we lost the flight, and the money. Nobody wanted to be responsible for that, no help from them.
So, we woke up at 4AM to be stuck in an elevator, because the airport is as non-functional as it can be in this regard, lose 300+€ and go back home feeling helpless. Friendly stuff but not willing to move a finger for you.

Oh what an experience! Highly recommended for those passengers wishing to experience first hand the adventure of their lives!
The whole building is designed like a huge escape room, where you have to run from one place to the other, face enormous queues, navigate through misleading or missing signs and fight against bosses at various localities! Brilliant!
No, seriously now. The whole "airport" is a joke. The security check is an embarrassment for the human race. No order, rarely all positions are working, heavily understaffed, impolite (admittedly understandably) personnel, lack of information. If you are disabled, old, with small kids or lot of luggage, you are gonna suffer:
The distances are huge (esp. after the security check) and it has never happened to me that all the moving walkways function. Same with stairs. Elevators usually DO work but they are only few and might need to serve hundreds of desperate people.
Be prepared to be checked to a ridiculous degree (I have seen mothers explaining to the police(!) every little baby item, old ladies removing every peculiar thing from their bags, very old men standing for ever without a chance to get a breath. Staff spending five minutes to locate in my bag a forgotten lighter because "only one per person is allowed". I have personally been refused to carry a 100ml juice "because this is for babies and my kid is not a baby"). It is not hard to imagine the situation when there is literally a thousand people waiting after you! Literally inhumane...
Delays are regular, actually it is the normality. I doubt that I flew a single time without a delay. Funnily enough, I was always informed AFTER reaching the gate, running, sweating, cursing...
It is interesting that the two security check entrances are positioned to the opposite ends of the airport. Therefore if you go to one of the two and something is wrong (like in this last trip, where one was soooo packed that it was closed and people were already queuing outside) you have to run to other end of the airport. There is indeed a security gate in between the two: for those having booked a slot for security control (!!!) for VIPs and another one which is always closed (I guess also understaffed). Be warned that even if you book a slot, waiting and being mistreated is to be expected.
Needless top say that if you also want to drop off baggage, you better count another 30-45 mins possible waiting. There are only few points and usually serve multiple flights simultaneously (again no order).
Finally be warned that the connections to Berlin are terrible (be prepared for cancelations of trains, delays etc).
As a conclusion: due to my work, I have travelled to hundreds of airports across the world. There was not a single airport, not talking about Europe of course or other airports in Germany, but I am comparing with Africa, Middle East, India, Latin America, that was even remotely resembled the situation in BER. I find it fascinating, how airports in cities like Cairo, Mexico City New Delhi or Mumbai with ten times the population, can work in such a flawless manner and how came the Germans didn't learn a thing. Instead they closed down the exemplary airport of Tegel (admittedly very small) to replace it with such a monstrosity!

Security was okay. And the airport generally okay, if you ignore their signs. All gate, exit, etc. signs are red. No difference in lie based on purpose of signs. Just not intuitive at all.
However, the biggest complaint I have is the temperature. It's f****** warm. And it was max 15 degrees outside today, so please don't blame the weather. Fine temp is one basic key to customer well being, but this airport seems to ignore that. (And don't get me started on the environmental impact of heating unnecessary...)

Très grande gare ! Un peu de difficultés à se repérer. Néanmoins, les toilettes sont vraiment top 👍🏻
Accessible en bus au départ de notre hôtel.
Superbe gare fonctionnelle.
Ticket pour l'aéroport, nombreux départs, 25 minutes de trajet.

Très grande gare avec une architecture impressionnante ! Elle est très bien organisée avec au niveau inférieur les trains à grande vitesse et sur les niveaux supérieurs les ter, les métros,...
Il y a aussi pleins de boutiques en tout genre, pratique quand on a besoin de quelque chose rapidement 😉

Dworzec dobrze zorganizowany - pociągi i metro. Warto tu zaglądnąć , można coś przekąsić, dużo różnych punktów wg znaków do poruszania się. Będąc w Berlinie zawsze tu wchodzę.
Ein interessanter Ort und eine sehr schöne Umgebung. das Wetter hat mitgespielt, also war es ein schöner Sonntag Relax 🙂
Potsdamer Platz Bahnhof-это и вокзал и станция метро одновременно. Если вы ещё не очень хорошо ориентируетесь на местности, то будьте внимательны и ориентируйтесь на указатели. С одних платформ уходят междугородние электрички и скоростные поезда, городские наземные электрички S-Bahn. До станции U-Bann надо перейти дорогу, она расположена чуть в стороне.
L'architecture de la gare est très impressionnante, à chaque niveau on a des points de vue sur les niveaux de dessous et donc des panneaux généralement.
Très pratique pour passer du train, tram au métro sans se perdre.

Ein gut erreichbarer Bahnhof. Direkte Verbindung zum neuen Flughafen BER.
Der Bahnhof ist behindertengerecht ausgebaut, Fahrstühle bringen einen direkt ans Gleis (Vorsicht, man muss wissen, auf welchem Gleis man abfährt…). Ansonsten sind die Gleise auch gut über Treppen und Rolltreppen erreichbar. Viel Platz auf den Gleisen, macht auch zu Stoßzeiten den Bahnhof angenehm zum Ankommen, Abfahren und Umsteigen.
Der Bahnhof ist behindertengerecht ausgebaut, Fahrstühle bringen einen direkt ans Gleis (Vorsicht, man muss wissen, auf welchem Gleis man abfährt…). Ansonsten sind die Gleise auch gut über Treppen und Rolltreppen erreichbar. Viel Platz auf den Gleisen, macht auch zu Stoßzeiten den Bahnhof angenehm zum Ankommen, Abfahren und Umsteigen.
Barrierefreiheit ist gegeben, Fahrstühle gibt es mehrere zum Ausweichen, die Rolltreppen laufen durchgehend. Der große Bahnhof ist immer sauber und übersichtlich.
Die Bushaltestelle Masurenallee / ZOB hat keine Mülltonne. Jetzt, da die Blätter aus den Büschen gefallen sind, ist die Aussicht nicht die beste, es liegt viel Müll auf dem Boden. Kein schönes Bild und es ist nicht schön, dort auf den Bus zu warten :((

Der Bahnhof wirkt sehr dunkel, grau, kahl und leer, ein bisschen Farbe und ein paar bunte Bilder wären schön.
Oberhalb befinden sich die Arcaden und die Mall of Berlin.
Ein Theater und die Philharmonie sind fußläufig erreichbar.
Ebenso der Reichstag und das Brandenburger Tor.

Uma estação muito limpa e bem organizada. Faz ligação tanto com a linha U6 como com a linha U2. Nessa estação sai diversos trens "S". Tem diversos painéis identificando as plataformas e os horários em que os trens/metros estão partido da estação. Possui elevadores para pessoas com necessidades de locomoção. Na parte superior da estação existem algumas lanchonetes que ficam abertas até tarde.

Une jolie gare ferroviaire au niveau d’architecture. Elle est immense, moderne et propre.
