My wife and I stumbled upon Methi during our European trip, and we were blown away by the flavors. The dishes surpassed even those in our hometown Kerala!

It was an overall disappointing experience. The serving staff keep running around and throw the plates on your table on the way. The food was overall bad, especially the leaky kaati roll.

This place is not recommended. Maybe the overall ratings are good because it's the only Indian vegetarian place around, but it's definitely not good in terms of taste or hospitality.

Their specialty is the Dosa. The curry I found rather boring.
Service is sub par. Some things that were ordered arrived very late or not at all.

Generally recommend. The location around this restaurant is not the safest though, be cautious in this area of the city.

A great place for Authentic Kerala food. They have good combos at pocket friendly rates. The food gave me feeling that im back in Kerala. Surely coming back again. The chattichor was amazing.
Only thing to keep in mind, make a reservation before going, as they have limited seats and a bit far away from Munich

I had tried the ghee dosa and it was pretty good. Would not recommend the utappam there. The service was very good and you can pay there with card. Will try the place once again for more of their Thalis as they looked great in the photos

Great place for Indian vegetarian food (focusing on the south Indian cuisine). The service is fast and if you have any questions about the dishes, they can help you.

Would highly recommend getting the South Indian dishes over the others here.

The food was super tasty. No problem, if you can't eat the full meal, it will be packed up and you can take it home with you without any problem. Also noteworthy is an exceptionally nice and friendly waiter!! This was a nice place to spend the evening with friends and family and enjoy indian food.

I was go there second at business lunch always give best service and food was very tasty completely Indian taste and provide soup sauce extra without paying cocktails also provided with offers. Totally recommended this place for whose eat really Indian food.

Expecting authentic kerala food ? Then this is the one and only place in Munich area. The service was really slow, but the food compensated the waiting. Although I would suggest the owners to work on that. Tried their porotta, mutton pepper roast and gobi 65.

I went to the restaurant today. If you want amazing & authentic South Indian food in Munich then this is the place to be! I really liked the food starting from starters to main course. The mutton pepper roast and the chicken biryani was outstanding. The restaurant owner/staff were also very friendly & ready to help you with recommendations. I highly recommend Methi restaurant to anyone craving some yummy Indian food!

Authentic south Indian/ Kerala cuisine in town. Excellent customer service and Friendly atmosphere.
We had starters, kerala poratta- Beef curry combo and desserts.

This place is amazing! The food is so flavorful and delicious, and the staff is so friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great meal.

Food was great. I go there 2 times but Waiter was full drunk both times totally smell come of alcohol and he not listen all things what we ordered something he was listen another due to call. Restaurant is okay please update service person.

The delivery took over one hour instead of 20–45 minutes, butter chicken and bread arrived cold.

Butter chicken tasted like 90% cream with a hint of spices. The chicken was tasteless and had a consistency that I have difficulties describing.

I eat indian food every week and am really disappointed here. It was the first time ever that I haven't finished a meal from an indian restaurant...

We feel sick after half of it...

Saravanaa Bhawan is a vegetarian restaurant and although this restaurant serves pan Indian vegetarian cuisines, it specialises in South Indian food. So for that if you are craving dosa, idli, utthapam, filter coffee, tiffin meals etc, this is the place to be. Other Indian dishes such as Aloo paratha, manchurian, dal makhni will not have the authentic North Indian flavour or taste but still a good place to satisfy your Indian food cravings. The service is neither too slow nor too fast and atmosphere is good. A rather large area for sitting and it is quite a popular joint so you can even expect some waiting time here.

It’s really huge place and ambience is lively. No need to reserve a table , simply walk in. The food taste is same as other chain locations. I tired paneer korma with extra spicy and it was just okay! Filter coffee is also just okay! Not a place for really family dining until and unless you are vegetarian and like South Indian cuisine. Staff are friendly and take away is possible

The Diwali special menu was an absolute delight! Starting with the Milagu Rasam that awakened the taste buds with its perfect blend of spices, we ventured into the Chicken Lollipop – a crispy, flavorful appetizer that set the tone for the evening. The Chicken Pallipalayam brought back memories of authentic Chettinad flavors, and the Biriyani Rice was a fragrant masterpiece, leaving us longing for more.

The star of the evening was the Mutton Kolumbu - a rich and aromatic curry that showcased the chef's expertise. Complementing the savory dishes, the Pineapple Kesari was a sweet surprise, and the Bread Halwa was a perfect finale, evoking nostalgia for the streets of Chennai.

Special commendation to Arun and Binu, whose exceptional service added an extra layer of enjoyment to our evening. Their attention to detail, warmth, and eagerness to ensure a memorable dining experience were truly commendable.

Das Restaurant hat einen wirklich tollen Style. Auch das Personal war super zuvorkommend und freundlich.

Das Essen war sehr lecker aber zum 5* braucht es einen Touch mehr.

Leider liegt das Restaurant direkt an der Kaiserstraße und somit ist es schon sehr unangenehm dort lang zu laufen...
Aber das ist natürlich Ansichtssache 😉

Ein wirklich guter Inder im Bahnhofsviertel, der einen weiteren Laden auf dem Oederweg hat. Besonders das Holy Paneer ist absolut zu empfehlen. Ich hatte etwas zu viel Reis für das Paneer, aber geschmacklich absolut herausragend. Die Preise sind, wie bei vielen Restaurants, leider relativ hoch. Bei einem Gericht mit Getränk sollte man mit 20 Euro rechnen. Ansonsten wirklich sehr gut!
Und noch zum Personal: sehr aufmerksamen nett, und zwar das gesamte Team! Man kam an den Tisch, hat gefragt ob alles passt, und war stets aufmerksam. Sensationell!!

Ein indisches Restaurant, das sich auf Streetfood spezialisiert hat und sich daher wohltuend von vielen anderen indischen Restaurants abhebt.

Ich hatte das Masala Dosa, das unglaublich lecker war. Auch die Vorspeisen fand ich überzeugend.

Viel vegane Auswahl, nettes Personal. War sicher nicht zum letzten Mal dort!

Sehr ordentliches, aber nicht herausragendes indisches Essen. Ambiente durchschnittlich. Man sitzt auf sehr einfachen Stühlen nach Art einer Klassenzimmer-Einrichtung. Gleichwohl zu empfehlen. Besser gefallen hat uns bei unserem letzten Frankfurt-Besuch das indische Restaurant Namaste India in der Jordanstraße.

Wir waren mit einer Gruppe von 14 Personen da. Schon im Vorfeld hat das Reservieren und auch das Erweitern der Reservierung von 10 auf 12 auf 14 Personen ohne Probleme geklappt. Vor Ort wurden wir sehr herzlich empfangen. Das Essen war sehr lecker und pikant gewürzt und richtig schnell da! Alle waren sehr zufrieden aus der Gruppe. Einzig ist es etwas laut, wenn das Restaurant voll ist. Kleines Highlight am Ende waren die Toiletten :D Ich kann es auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen!

Das Singh Indian Street Food lockte uns von weitem bereits mit seinem herrlichen Duft nach indischem Essen an.😋Intensiv, würzig und mit einer gewissen frische weckte es uns Erinnerungen an vergangene Urlaube in Südasien. Das kleine Restaurant ist super liebevoll gestaltet. Die Wände im Innenraum sind bunt und zeigen farbenfrohe Motive aus Indien.😍 Die Küche erinnert ebenfalls an die dort so typischen Garküchen. Der Außenbereich ist zwar klein, aber mit den umfunktionierten alten Nähtischen ein authentischer Blickfang. Selbst die Speisekarte ist liebevoll und farbenfroh gestaltet und versprüht gute Laune 🤗

Da wir am Mittwoch da gewesen waren, gab es zu jedem Thali Set sowohl Reis als auch einen halben Naan (der immer noch groß war 😉) . Wir bestellten das Singh Veggie Thali und das Tandoori Thali. Am Essen ist überhaupt nichts auszusetzen - auch das Naan ist lecker. Allerdings fehlte uns bei jedem Gericht des Thali einfach der letzte Kick. So wunderbar es aus der Küche roch, so fehlte doch auf unseren Tellern die letzte Würze. Daher vergeben wir 4 Sterne.

Wir waren alles in allem sehr zufrieden. Auch das Personal war Mega freundlich 😊 Wir hatten dort jedenfalls einen entspannten und schönen Abend 👍

This is a place that can easily become a go to stop for South Indian food! Really authentic South Indian food in Berlin, specially in Spandau. The food tastes exactly like any other excellent restaurant in India. Not too hard on the wallet, affordable delicious food.
The chefs are from Tamil Nadu which makes it even more authentic Chettinad cuisine.
Highly recommend this place to anyone who is craving for yummy chicken varieties.

Dum biryani - Amazing taste and flavors
Koli Kari Dosai - traditional chicken curry and dosas just like from Tamil Nadu
Chicken fry - Indian style fried chicken

Simple et délicieux: Nous avons pris 3 plats dont une crêpe "indienne" qui fût une agréable surprise. Le style des tables avec les roues de vélo ont beaucoup amusé les enfants
