Nice place for walking and spending time with friends and family .
Very nice quiet spot to spend the day on the weekend. Ample parking, lots of greenery and beautifully maintained park are several reasons to visit.

Great Japan Garden, with a beautiful waterfall and wooden houses. I would definitely recommend to visit!
Herrlicher Park.
Nice diversion in Frankfurt.

Beautiful park and nice plants. We went on a cool Saturday, 7€ entrance fee. The grounds were very nice, flowers blooming everywhere. Has several indoor spaces, greenhouses and other environments for the multitude of plants. Many beautiful butterflies in the butterfly house. It would be nice to return in a few weeks when the roses are blooming.
Great place for anyone: for botanics (all sorts of exotic plants!), for gardeners (lots of new ideas!), for people searching calm and peace for a while.
Big and impressive park with multiple flora, tropic and exotic.
We were also fascinated by swans in the lake and gigant fish, following visitors :)
Even on a winters day the Palm Gardens are beautiful , a great place to visit whilst in Frankfurt . The butterfly enclosure , to the succulents . Allow a couple of hours to walk thru take in all the beautiful plants .

The Japanese garden is very well kept. It's a nice place to relax and the sound of water is calming. Apart from the Japanese garden, there is a huge park surrounding it.
I was not expecting to spend so long here.
Beautiful setting and hugely varied glass houses.
I will definitely visit again, but prepare by eating a big lunch first.
(Mid December, the restaurants were closed and I didn't expect to be here for nearly 4 hours)
Beautiful immersion in the Japan. Well accurate, precise and well-maintained from the personnel. Thats's amazing to find a place like this near the centre of Bonn. Good experience for everyone. If you have a free moment during the week or the weekend, spend some moment of your day to go there.
Had a great visit for about an hour on a chilly Saturday November afternoon. The garden is close to transit and accessible. Many of the indoor / outdoor attractions are great and well worth the entry fee. My least favourite was the Palm House which I think can be skipped at together. There was very little colour there, mostly green and upkeep seemed to be an issue.

beautiful... to spend a day listening to how the water comes down... hearing the birds... seeing all that greenery... wonderful Advice 10+

A great park to walk or juggle during the day time! But dark and creepy at night.
Lovely little place. The tour guides know a lot of small details about the history of farmers and their lives.

It is a park with many contrasting areas (playground, forest, grass, ponds, riverside). Great for relaxing on a sunny day.
Although there is a limited amount of information available in English this is a terrific museum of older buildings moved to this location. We especially enjoyed seeing the post WWII street with shops that can be visited to see what was sold at the time. We could have spent a day here exploring all the buildings and gardens.
This is a wonderful museum to visit. It describes different eras of European history, and among other, a complete city centre from the 1950th.
There were also lots of agricultural machines and some animals.
The restaurant was also very good!
The only bad thing was that information about the objects is only in German.
Interactive exhibitions depicting life from 1800s to early 1900s. Includes a few farm animals and quite suitable for children!
Wonderful location for a day out with kids. Many play areas and during summer holidays they have children entertainment program. They have a water playground. You can visit all houses and the stables. It was amazing to see how people lived several years ago. The museum is expanding with an exhibition of the 50s/60s incl. a gas station and a "Quelle" sample house. The gardens are well maintained. The young piglets were sooo cute.

For older kids there is an exhibition of agricultural machinery and one area with old toys and boardgames. There a plenty parking facilities and even chargers for PHEV/BEV. Most of the area is accessible with a wheelchair.

We will be back for sure.

This is an amazing place for everyone Perfect place for kids. You will definitely have a perfect time here for the entire day and you'll feel like you still have something you haven't seen.
Before autumn ends, we just have to come capture the beauty of the season, it is completely dreamy- just like heaven.
Amazing open air museum close to Hamburg. Collection of old farms and houses showing how life was in the hundred and two hundred years ago. Some weekends people are living in the houses in original clothes showing how a day was during this time. Great for a family daytrip!
