Absolutely lovely!
We went on a Tuesday. Between 10 am and 2 pm the garden is free to enter, which makes it busy. We went counterclockwise, which usually means you miss most of the crowd (a tried and true tip from people who do Disneyland!).
When we left at 12:30 pm there was an enormous line.
Very nice garden close to the Prado museum. Tickets are 4€ each but it’s very nice. You can get tickets online but it is easy to get them there when you arrive
I had a lovely visit to the Barcelona Botanical Garden! The different plant collections from around the world with a Mediterranean climate were fascinating to see. The gardens are beautifully laid out and a great place to relax and enjoy nature. My only disappointment is that they don't have a wider variety of plants from other climates. Overall, it's a great place to visit for anyone interested in plants or looking for a peaceful escape in the city.
I wanted to share my experience from my recent visit to Jardín Botánico Madrid today.

Overall, it was a nice day with super warm weather reaching 25 degrees. We had purchased our tickets online as recommended, however, upon arrival, we encountered some confusion with the entrance process. The lineup took around 30 minutes, but there was no clear signage indicating that it was only for those needing to purchase tickets on-site. When we reached the ticket seller, he quickly directed us to proceed, explaining that the line was for those making payments there. Unfortunately, we did not receive a map like others did.

While the park itself is beautiful, we did encounter some issues. One of the washrooms was closed, and the other one had a long line. However, the washroom we used was clean. Additionally, we found that there were no open cafeterias or souvenir shops during our visit.

The highlight of our visit was the bonsái exhibition, which we found to be particularly impressive. It was a good opportunity for a leisurely walk, but overall, the lack of amenities and some logistical challenges left us feeling less than impressed with the park.
Not a very big garden but it is only €3 for an adult , has some interesting and unusual plants / trees 😄
Fantastisch. Habe mich wie in Garten Eden gefüllt. Diese Orchideenpracht, wunderbar. Auch die anderen Pflanzen und Bäume, tropisch.Sehr sauber geführt. Kleines gemütliches Café, und sehr freundliches Personal. Eintritt 4 Euro ist ok und gerechtfertigt
There is nothing much left to be seen there. It’s a small area with tropical trees.
Schöner Garten man kann gemütlich durchmarschieren und fotografieren. Zum Abschluss gönnt man sich noch etwas zum Trinken . Schönes Programm wenn das Wetter nicht so toll ist.
Very pretty train station, notifications were read in Spanish as well as English, some knowledge of Spanish will be a great help.

These trains leave on the dot! No waiting for lollygaggers. Lots of people running for connections.

Security was straightforward and simple.

Bring coins for bathrooms €1.00 per use, Very clean, cards are taken, but coins, to us, were simpler.

Vending machines available for snacks and drinks. A couple of restaurants were there as well, we didn’t partake in those.
The botanical garden at spring is nice to see the eucalyptus trees blooming and some agaves too. If you go at the weekend you can see the bonsai tree’s collection too. I will come back next time. Highly recommend it for nature and flower lovers and it’s a good place to rest from the city.

Great park if you want to spend a tranquil morning or afternoon. You can see both a variety of trees and the sights of the Santa Cruz below. Not many people, and this is definitely a plus.
Interesting garden in the station. They to some work at the end and it’s pretty noisy to sit there.
A quiet and peaceful place to relax and see interesting plants. Admission is free on weekends from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. You can also take a look at the bonsai exhibition

The well-maintained pathways and informative signage make it an ideal spot for nature enthusiasts. Palmetum's stunning landscapes and conservation efforts showcase the beauty and importance of palm diversity. A must-visit oasis for those seeking tranquility and botanical wonders in Tenerife.

If you are in Santa Cruz you definitely should visit this place. 😊 A lot of interesting plants from around the world and beautiful views. It took us around 1,5 hours to walk through the entire area.
Worth the visit to see some amazing plants from around the world. Had my eyes opened to some of the trees, flowers that grow there. Well maintained, 3 euro entry, toilets cleanliness very good, no cafe area but plenty across the Rd and down the strip.
Out of this world landscapes.
Much info about history and flora of the national park.

Nice to wander around. You have to open the gate to enter after the visitor centre closes in front of it
I visited in October. The garden is amazing and has abundance of many different plants. You can buy the tickets at the entrance or online (as far as I know there is no difference in the price). Totally worth it. You have to plan one or two hours so that you have enough time to see and enjoy everything.
I can only imagine how much more beautiful this garden is in the spring and summer. I came at the end of winter, so most things were dead, but this is a thoughtfully laid out garden. There are plants from all over the world, and dedicated sections to particular kinds of plants, like olive trees and a bonsai collection. There is also a pavilion, cafe, and shop, but they all are undergoing renovations. There are a few benches to sit, and a small sensory area for kids to learn about different plants. Worth the visit.
Tolle Orchideen und andere Pflanzen und Bäume. Eine schöne Oase. Auch die Cafeteria hat ein gutes Angebot an verschiedenen Speisen, Kuchen und Getränken.

Fabulous botanical gardens. Really enjoyed exploring the different world zones, learning about the many varieties of palms, and other plants and trees. Some very rare and special examples. Highly recommend!!
Spacious and with a variety of options in it, it hosts a wonderful bonsai collection, a couple of nice small greenhouses, a large vineyard selection and many old large trees. Species from around the world. It was definitely worth the 4€.

Unique about this botanical garden, is their extensive collection of palms from all across the world. Both small an giant palms are lurking around every corner. Especially enjoyed El Octógono, a half-sunken shade house in the middle of the park, home to the most tropical species.

Even though not very big, this botanical garden in Santa Cruz is very well Mai gained and beautifully inspired and designed, has several view point on different sides of that allow you to see the sunset and also the Auditorium. Very silent atmosphere and serene location on the shore of the ocean.
~sehr sauber
~Informationstafeln über den Garten und seiner Geschichte
~Cafè
~viele tolle Blumen

~Kosten: 4,75 Euro (teilweise schon ein wenig teuer)
~nicht so viele Orchideen
one of the most beautiful botanical gardens I have ever been to! great place and view, a lot of plants, and amazing design 🌿

Boring, not much of interest. We regret stopping here.
Sehr schöner kleiner Garten. Sehr idyllisch gelegen. Eintritt ist mit 4,75 Euro sehr human. Hat uns sehr gut gefallen.
Tajinaste, flower of paradise, endemic plant, blooming in May.
It was only a few euros for a ticket and I really like how they already planned out an "express" trail which should take less than a hour. Really beautiful and easy marked trails. A good stop on the way up to Montjuic
Schöner kleiner idyllischer Garten zum verweilen. Dieser Garten ist nicht sehr groß aber liebevoll gestaltet.
Eintrittsgeld von knapp 5,-€ pro Person.
