We booked a family room for almost a week and we enjoyed our stay.
The highlight of the stay was our host, Andrea who communicated constantly with us before and after our arrival, gave us excellent recommendations about where to go and eat. We almost tried all the places he had recommended and were not disappointed. Andrea went above and beyond to ensure we are enjoying our stay. Thank you Andrea.
Aside the host:
Location: perfect to walk around and visit different places. We only needed to get a taxi or Public Transport few times.
Beds: they were clean and comfortable, room was big enough for a family of 4.
Kitchen and sitting area: perfect for us to cook and eat in for breakfast and lunch with a great open space to relax after a long day visiting different places.
Note, this is not a Hotel, and they are not claiming to be, it is a guest house with were you have close and personal relationship with your host or other guests.
This is an old building, no lift , but they were not an issue for us and we had a great experience, made by Andrea and his amazing personality and kindness

Great stay

Stayed in room number #3 ("Double Room with Terrace" + private bathroom)

>> PROS:
- staff: Andrea was an incredible host. He does everything with his heart and what an awesome personality =) super helpful, knowledgeable, welcoming and gave us an incredible overview of Barcelona with a map as soon as we arrived.
- check-in: also organized with Andrea, that was very flexible with my flexible arrival plans, considering I was coming from a roadtrip nearby.
- location: couldn't be better, the neighborhood feels safe different than other areas from Barcelona, supermarket in the corner, walking distance to Sagrada Familia and so many attractions (Casa Batlo is only 800m), easy access to public transport.
- AC: I don't remember using it.
- shower: good shower.
- kitchen: well equiped kitchen and good organization for storage of each room.
- outside area: the outside area is wonderful, and some rooms (as #3) have direct access to it, including a little private space (which is the part advertised as "terrace").

>> Cons:
Just to consider:
- The bathroom could get a deeper cleaning.
- Soap dispenser could be improved for easier use when showering.
