This was an amazing museum however I have a few points
1. If you go in with a basic understanding of the middle ages, it's probably not enough to full understand the exhibits so study beforehand
2. I wish they had kept the museum in a more traditional and ancient style! You can see parts of the abbey and the exterior is beautiful, but they mixed modern and ancient inside and I feel like it doesn't do the place justice
Bought a ticket for first thing in the morning. Some excellent examples of life and art starting from 1100 to 1600. Well presented and easy to move around, not as crowded as many of the other sites. Elevators and bathrooms on site. All of the displays are in both French and English. One of my favorite museums in Paris.

Very good war collections and the Napoleon Tomb was marvelous.
Pl be note that the front gate is open only between 2PM to 6 PM use the back
Entrance if you go early.
Biglietti acquistati online, facilmente raggiungibile in metro.

One of the most beautiful palaces in the world.
We bought online tickets and got in fast.
The hall of mirrors and arts and paintings were so awesome and the gardens and fountains to the back of the palace were really nice too.

This was the highlight of our visit. We went to all four of the major areas. My son and I absolutely loved the history and immersion. Being from the UK and US we had not seen the French perspective this clearly. There was so much to see! The highlight was the Dome. It gave greater understanding of the role he plays in French culture.

The only negative was the audio tour. It highlighted unique items but skipped over lot.
Hard one to rate to be honest, as the place is beautiful but when you go in you see that some works are hidden away behind the free standing walls and some parts aren’t in English and others are. You can get an audio guide for a 2€ but I only found that out once I was walking around inside the exhibition spaces. I feel it would be nicer to see more of the original building on the ground floor. It has free lockers for your bag but very few for big bags, so be mindful of that. Other than that the staff are nice and if you love medieval ages of France and surrounding areas, then it’s definitely worth your time! If not and you have a short time in Paris then I’d say avoid it. It does have a great gift shop tho!
This is the unique place with interesting collection of postcards from all over the world. Some items are really amazing and impressive. For example, transparent or sound cards.
We got free audio guides in the entrance with the brief information about each section of the museum, what made our experience even more entertaining. Thanks a lot.
So many Paris museums are unbelievably crowded which makes it hard to appreciate the art. This place didn’t have the same level of famous work as the louvre or l’orangerie, but it was peaceful and incredibly interesting. Would recommend going if you have a bit extra time in Paris!!
This is such an interesting little museum. Very well done. The curator was so warm and friendly. Audio guides are available in several languages. If you only have time for one museum in Antibes, this should be the one you choose.

The garden its huge so it could take you 3 hours to fully see everything. I would plan a better weather day to go (raining), so you could enjoy the boat ride, the palace itself, we could not make it ut was fully booked and no places were left
A découvrir !

Such a beautiful place to visit. Definitely one of the most amazing palaces I've visited in the world. If you love history you'd definitely love this place! It was very busy, but we went during a very busy time of tve year so that was expected. The gardens are gorgeous and you can easily spend a few hours in this Palace. I'd highly recommend 🏰👌❤️

What an amazing experience! Only a quick train ride away from a metro station if staying near the Eiffel Tower. This is definitely a site that cannot be missed. I do recommend going with a tour group so you know where to spend more time in certain rooms along the way. The palace is very large and you will want to explore all of the rooms in addition to the grounds as well!
C'était une belle surprise notre musée !
The Palace of Versailles is one of the most beautiful places in the world, I visited it a couple of years ago with my mother and we booked it 6 weeks early.

We also selected the package of visiting the personal chambers of the king, so a lot of my pictures are from there.

If you intend to visit, I strongly suggest you check their website first and book your tickets in advance. The tour guide might not know good English, so be sure to use any audio guide that may be available.

Finally if you have time, try to visit the gardens, which are exciting! We didn’t go this time because our schedule was tight, but be sure to do so! You can also buy food from inside the palace or bring your own, it’s up to you!
The museum with religious exhibits offered an average experience. While it provided insight into various faiths, the presentation lacked the depth and engagement expected. Despite touching on significant themes, the overall impression fell short, leaving room for improvement in delivering a more compelling narrative.

I visited last year but didn't have a chance to go inside and I'm so happy that I was able to go inside as it was exactly what I was hoping for the perfect place for a history buff.

As a big history and military fan I really enjoyed their massive collection.
From first weapons used in ancient history till the most recent conflict they cover everything.
I especially enjoyed seeing so many different selections of medieval armors, and the WW2 area.
You will gain new views on history and expand your knowledge.
I could compare this Army Museum in Paris with the Louvre only art is replaced with weapons.

Tip: Napoleon's tomb is just nearby so don't skip it as it is magnificent
It is one of the most historical tourist destinations. The palace features exquisite decorations and interiors, both outside and inside. The historical information provided with the audio guide enhances the experience.

The garden offers an electric vehicle service for convenient transportation within its vast grounds. Given the garden's size, renting an electric car is a wise choice to avoid long walks.

On weekends, there's a captivating fountain show. I highly recommend using an audio guide during your visit. It offers fascinating insights into the rich history of the place.

Reserving tickets in advance, preferably the day before your visit, is advisable. Visiting without a reservation can lead to lengthy waits, and you might miss the opportunity to explore the palace's interior.

It's an incredibly captivating place, and I look forward to visiting again in the future.
Spectacular mini day trip from Paris. My family and I spent about 5 hours here and it was really fun. The inside of the palace is huge with art and history in every room. The gardens outside were also great. They rent golf carts for people who want to see everything quicker outside. There is a small cafe / restaurant inside and many toilets. Wonderful experience and the tour guides are also funny and knowledgeable.

Beautiful palace, but it gets very crowded, making it difficult to walk inside. It's hard to take nice pictures with so many people. It's totally worth it to get the garden pass; we probably spent most of our time in the garden, which is beautiful and not that busy. It's a long walk, so I recommend bringing a lot of water and wearing comfortable shoes.
If you are a history buff, who likes the french army history, French Revolution, WWII, Napoleon you shouldn't skip and come and visit this place. I think this is one of those underrated museums it is very different from Musee d'Orsay or Louvre.

Right in the centre of Bayeux, one street away from the tapestry museum, this museum has several sections from Roman antiquities, local history, and eighteenth-century paintings to a display of lace design, techniques and production. I was also impressed by a full courtroom and consultation backroom for the judges, as left behind by history. Nice museum shop.
Such a great museum for one of the most important and iconic places of the Middleages. Really kind lady at the ticket office/bookshop, sadly the ancient complex of Cluny doesn't almost exist anymore but the remains are nicely hosted here. A visit to remember!
