This is such a beautiful and informative museum in the middle of Paris.

Interesting person was Mr. Rodin. Well laid out inside and out with very pretty gardens. We enjoyed the tour and information.
However, the Cafe inside only offers a bare minimum for breakfast and not too helpful lady. And she displayed that attitude to the 4 other customers that followed. I suggest going to the Cafe on the street corner.

Fantastic smaller museum of Rodin's works. Really lovely to see his sculptures in situe in the gardens where he lived and worked. I went on a weekday and arrived at 10 am and had at least 30 mins with very few others in the gardens.
Loved it! A lot of the art works were outside in the garden, so it would be a nice stroll on a sunny day. There was also a significant section indoors. Rodin‘s pieces were displayed in different forms, amongst some of his contemporary‘s works as well.
A beautiful collection of Rodin pieces curated in a contemporary way. The work has space to be appreciated and flows seamlessly with the surrounding architecture. The gardens and cafe are also a must visit. A perfect place for a relaxing afternoon - not as overwhelming as other museums .
It's a must for Rodin enthusiasts with plenty of sculptures and paintings, I found the museum to be informative and interesting the garden was exquisite and the outside sculptures mesmerising. The Gates of hell was imposing and ominous the thinker majestic. This museum is wheelchair accessible there are toilets and a well stocked souvenir shop. The garden is tranquil with the essence of history lingering in its grounds with every sculpture telling its own story. Full of masterpieces. Loved it.
I came to view the Antony Gormley exhibition which was beautifully and thoughtfully curated and integrated within the Rodin pieces. A beautiful and easy museum to stroll around and the gardens, despite the rain and the cold, were really pleasing and relaxing. Staff were friendly and there wasn’t too many people inside making it an enjoyable visit (I came just 90 minutes before closing time)

I visited on a Sunday afternoon and there was no line, so I bought the ticket on the spot.
The park felt like a peaceful oasis amidst bustling Paris. And of course the statues are spectacular, especially the contrast of the dark bronze and the bright marble pieces.
The interior of the buildings is preserved beautifully, which makes the visit even more magical.

Sehr schönes Museum mit verschiedenen schönen kleineren Sammlungen. Schöne Aktion 7. bis 11.09.2023 freier Eintritt wegen der großen Hitze draussen. Schöner Innengarten.
Lieu agréable et magnifique. En déambulant dans ce lieu, dans cette œuvre d'art vous faire partie de l'œuvre de l'artiste (vous comprendrez quand vous y serais). Posez vous à l'ombre des châtaignier pour un goûter, un thé ou même un dîner.

Ziemlich abgefahren. Der Künstler hat sich verwirklicht. Einfach toll.
Wer den Louvre schon einmal besucht hat, wird zumindest bei der thematischen Auswahl dieses Museums Ähnlichkeiten entdecken. Es gibt alte Meister, Skulpturen, eine Ägyptenabteilung, Römer und Griechen, Islamische Kunst. Darüber hinaus aber auch zeitgenössischere Werke, die beim Louvre eher Fehlanzeige sind. Die Vielfalt ist also gegeben und sicher hochkarätig. Natürlich ist es trotzdem nicht mit dem Louvre vergleichbar. Wo im Louvre die Ägyptenabteilung kaum noch Platz für ihre gut erhaltenen Sarkophage hat, steht hier dann eher die etwas ramponierte Sphinx. Aber ist das schlecht? Während man im Louvre quasi erschlagen wird von Highlights und diese dann untergehen, kommen sie im Museum in Lyon in einer erträglichen Dosis daher und können daher sogar eher wert geschätzt werden. Daher ist dieses Museum für mich deutlich angenehmer und auf jeden Fall einen Besuch wert. Denn sehenswert sind die Werke und Fundstücke allemal.
Das Gebäude und der Garten im Innenhof sind wunderschön. Eine willkommene Abkühlung während den heissen Tagen. Leider wirkt das Museum im inneren in die Jahre gekommen, vorallem der oberste Stock. In den Wänden hat es viele Löcher und der Boden wirkt sehr schäbig. Schade um die schönen Bilder, die ausgestellt sind. Die Ägypten Ausstellung ist sehr schön gestaltet. Jedoch ist die Ausstellung am Mittag, wieso auch immer, für 45 Minuten geschlossen. Zudem ist alles, bis auf den Titel des Kunstgegenstandes in englisch, nur in französisch angeschrieben. Sehr schade für Touristen. Hier gibt es definitiv Luft nach oben...

Super wir verbrachten einen ganzen Nachmittag dort. Das Restaurant hat sehr gutes Essen.
Sehr schönes Museum mit Kunstwerken aus ganz Europa. Es gibt Skulpturen von der Antike bis zum Mittelalter, alte Meister aus Holland und Flandern bis zu zeitgenössischer Kunst aus Südfrankreich.
Ein wunderbares klassiches Museum der schönen Künste mit einer großartigen Sammlung in einem einzigartigen alten Palast.
Da muss man gewesen sein!
Und im Innenhof, der frei zugänglich ist, kann man sich herrlich erholen!

Schönes Museum, aber das mit der App scheint nicht so recht zu klappen, wenn man nicht den gesamten Guide runterlasen möchte und so wie wir das gesehen haben, dann auch nur in Französisch:(
