A fabulous 2 night stay in idyllic surroundings. Although the room was a little tired, the service staff and treatment therapists more than compensated. All were professional and excellent in each of the treatments chosen. Nina (deep tissue massage) and Kim ((Body Radiance) were exceptional. Food was very good, varied and beautifully presented. Waiting staff were attentive and polite. Would return.

Stunning location and on the whole staff are kind and courteous. Rooms are clean albeit a bit dated.

Food and service for dinner was great.

Only thing missing for me is a plunge pool, unless I’ve been unable to find it along with a steam room. I’ll hunt in the morning!

Very pleasantly surprised after reeding all the negative comments. Staff was friendly and helpful. They are working hard to keep the space clean as much as they can and honestly you know what this place is ( you are not visiting the dentist) Busy but not overcrowded, and there is something for everyones taste. Also there is a smoking area too , a huge plus!

Should charge a reduced fee when entering late especially if closing before advertised closing time, and your only told closing early when you arrive. There's an option on your Google page settings to state closing times may vary from published hours

Gorgeous setting to enjoy the most fantastic cocktails ever created. The service is unmatched, and the little touches, like giving you the recipe card for the cocktail you order really make the experience out of this world. Very much worth a visit

We enjoyed our day at the spa, and the food at the restaurant was delicious, but overall we didn't leave feeling like we'd want to go again. There are a lot of saunas and steam rooms, but no big areas to relax. We also wanted to spend time swimming and relaxing by the pool but the main pool is quite small and it's outdoors. Besides this, the staff were very friendly and the facilities were quite clean.

Discovered this little gem after searching around for a reasonably priced day spa to de-stress in midweek.

I've been on a couple of occasions, both for the "just 4 you" afternoons where you spend around £37-£45 depending on offers available for 3 hours access to the indoor thermal suite and the outdoor hydrotherapy pool as well as the relaxation areas.

The spa is incredibly well appointed with two saunas, two steam rooms, relaxation beds, and a large outdoor hydrotherapy pool. Check in is simple and straightforward and you're given a secure locker with towels and a robe. I haven't had a chance to try the cafe bar but have seen lots of people coming out with very nice looking drinks!

Can recommend for a mid-week pick me up, take a book and some pool slides or flip flops. I hope to try out a treatment in the future.

We stayed here at Christmas and the whole family loved it so much, our kids (both under 10) are still talking about it four months later. The hotel went above and beyond to make Christmas perfect, with Santa making a surprise appearance at dinner with a bag full of gifts, thoughtful surprises left in the room, ballet dancers performing in the lobby during tea, a wonderful carriage ride around the neighborhood—and on and on. Just unexpected delights everywhere. Normally I would not leave a review so long after the stay, but after spring break at a really fabulous beach resort my kids were ranking their all time favorite hotels, and they volunteered that the Connaught was still at the top. So I felt I would be remiss not to leave a review.

One of the best hotels in London. So is the restaurant! Perfect! Service is displayed on a supernatural level. Old school is very hard to beat, in every way in our lifes. This place is old school!

Beautiful place inside and out. The food menu is very limited and not a lot of variety. Not everyone who wants a weekend away at a spa wants ridiculously healthy food that goes to extremes. There are a lot of everyday foods that can also be made healthy where you're not spending all day on the toilet. The weekend we went was very overcrowded, especially on Saturday with day customers. Had to wait ages to get in the hydro pool. It was very crowded. Not enough sun loungers customers were doing the usual putting towel on them and holding onto them all day. I think management should make people aware that if you're going off to do another activity, then free them up for others to use. Steam rooms, etc, are separated either in men or women's changing rooms. You can't use them with your partner. There is only 1 sauna room on the poolside that a couple can share together. I wouldn't go here again.

Avoid. Management are too uppity to be at your service. They even let LGBT orientated magazines/Instagram pages do advertising to entice people to visit this sauna, who block you if you put a comment on their post dissuading anyone to visit this place. They seem to be *so* offended by clients expressing dissatisfaction of this place.

Also, the place smells terrible and is very unhygienic. It's a breeding ground - mins the pun - for bacteria and parasites.

I see they advise you if you weren't happy with your experience to get in touch with them, but guess what? There's no response from them if you do. It seems to be an automated message/reply they put just to feign that they have the interest in dealing with the issue.

Great facilities and well kept but it’s too crowded!! Defeats the point of being a relaxing experience. I booked a Thursday evening slot and it was more like a pool party with everyone drinking in the main hydro pool.. no chance to actually use it and the loungers were taken up with peoples towels and bags versus being able to lounge on!

The rest of the spa was nice - loved the steam room and salt room. Sadly it seems it’s more focused on taking bookings versus making sure people have a relaxing experience.

Stay away if you can. The only good thing is the location. Towels as rough as sandpaper. Machines broken for longer periods, abysmal cleaning, lockers kept locked by people not even in the gym, staff that don’t care and music louder then any club so you can’t listen to your own music. Stuck for a year I’m afraid, don’t make the same mistake…

Staff are very nice and welcoming. The facilities are clean and the venues is spacious. I love all the different areas as it reminded me of a maze. The pool area is 10/10

My first time to this sauna and I was not disappointed. The staff are friendly and courteous and we were shown around by Terry. Thank you Terry 🥰. A great choice of food and drinks which we enjoyed. The place was very clean throughout and there was a very relaxing vibe throughout the entire venue. Clientele were lovely and I shall definitely be coming back. Highly recommended.

I have visited this place a few times now and had great action, the crowd is mixed and even Mondays are fun. The staff are friendly but they have too many rules as in the amount of time you can spend in the venue and the no-return to your locker policy. If you are new to this venue you will need to know you will have to wear nothing “but” the skimpy towel provided by them that barely works as a towel. If you are wearing jockstrap under the towel they will ask you to take it off as no underwear is permitted (Bizarre). The cabins are not equipped with any sanitising products like tissue or spays. They have cameras everywhere which is good for security, but I did find myself very uncomfortable with cameras in certain rooms where you can be filmed while having fun. Overall OK 👍

Lovely place to stay and use the spa, I would recommend this place any day of the week. Staff are so friendly and helpful. Really clean too. Only downfall was the breakfast was cold after getting it back to the table, so I wouldn't choose the hot choice anymore

From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, all the staff were superb. The spa was welcoming, cosy and clean. The staff all through were super. The food and drinks were excellent. The spa grounds have lots of different rooms to relax and an inviting, not too big outdoor shallow pool to stretch, swim or just to have a soak.

Pampered to perfection 💆‍♀️Myself and my daughter had a day package with a facial. Easy check in, everything was in our locker, robe, towels and our free Elemis product. We made full use of all the facilities, sauna, salt steam room, ice 🧊 room and jacuzzi pool, that was a favourite, enjoyed a Prosecco while soaking our stresses and strains away. We had a delicious Mezze lunch 😋 Our facials were soooo relaxing, we left feeling truly relaxed and Pampered. Can't wait to visit again.

I have been in different saunas in Europe, South America and Asia. I can guarantee that I have never been to a sauna that smell so terrible! Went with a friend on a Friday night and it was quite empty. But I wasn’t surprised. The way this sauna stinks probably everyone did exactly what I did ( left after 15 mins). I am genuinely surprised that the no one has yet reported this place. Very disappointed.

Didn't stay at the hotel, but had a couple of martinis at the bar. First up, it's a very swanky place, a beautiful building. The bar is incredibly popular and gets very busy, and it's usually not possible to reserve a table, however you can stand at the bar and have a drink while you are waiting for one to free up, and the staff will help with that. The martinis themselves were excellent; it seems they are constantly experimenting with new ideas and flavours. The staff were friendly and helpful and overall it was a lovely experience. The atmosphere is great. It's not snooty like a certain place nearby known for its martinis (Dukes). Would definitely recommend.

The Aqua Sana is a really amazing place. There was so many lovely rooms to use, steam rooms, saunas, relaxation rooms, meditation rooms and a heated outdoor pool. There is also a lovely cafe you can visit to order fresh and healthy food and drinks. The changing rooms and showers are big and clean, stocked with soaps, shower gel, shampoos and hairdryers. You are provided with towels and dressing gown upon arrival which is a really nice touch too. I would recommend you bring some flips flips to wear while walking around the spa though

One of the best spas! There are over 20 rooms across 2 floors that you have access to for 3 hours, which is a perfect amount of time! The rooms were lovely but we felt that the swimming pool was quite overlooked and very cold being outside. A nice hottub or jacuzzi inside would have made the visit even better. We had afternoon tea before too which was lovely, although weren't given our drinks and we had to ask again for these as it seemed they forgot and we're given no cutlery, so staff could have been more attentive. Overall, would recommend and would visit again.

I've had a great Wednesday at the Greenhouse 13/03/2024. I have the respect for all staff at the Greenhouse. I know my behaviour isn't been very good a few weeks ago. It's due to me getting stabbed on the 17/12/23 at home. That's the why I haven't been myself lately and I shouldn't take it out on others. I love Terry very much he makes me laugh. I'm sorry for what happened a few Wednesdays ago.

So clean & so well managed.
The Greenhouse was fabulous fun this Sunday. The pool & hot tub were at the right temperature, with no shortage of fresh laundered towel. Delicious Sunday lunch served in the bar area.
What really struck me was the “vibe” friendly locals & all very open to chat & mingling. Shout out to Adam working the bar this lunchtime, friendly, fit nice bloke.

Stayed here for 15 nights for work. Whilst a bit run down and needing some renovation in certain areas, the hotel is to a great standard and I was impressed with my room and the service initially. The biggest issue was around housekeeping. It became clear that if my room was "cleaned" very little was actually done with on numerous occasions the bed made the only thing done. When you're staying somewhere for over two weeks a standard of cleanliness is expected, with bedding needing changing and cleaning required. On two days in a row I reported the lack of cleaning to reception and on both occasions nothing improved. I had to ask for towels and glasses on two occasions and a 6 day old coffee cup was still in my room. On the third day with nothing changed I complained to a manager who had my party moved to better rooms which was lovely but unfortunately these rooms weren't cleaned either.
I think there's a staffing issue here, which is a shame because they are all so lovely. When you see that staff in the restaurant are working 15 hour days it's no wonder things aren't right. Other than the cleanliness of the room it was just little things that weren't right, cocktail menus on the tables for breakfast, milk jugs on tables for evening meals, inconsistencies of availability of staple breakfast items until you ask for them. But when restaurant staff start so close to start of service what do you expect.
Please look after your staff, they are amazing and the quality of the food and service is superb. 15 nights is a stretch for food every night and we never got bored.

For the price, I felt like that the value was spot on.

All spa facilities were spotlessly clean. I also felt that the spa wasn’t overbooked. No waits for any of the rooms/saunas/pool.

Staff were fantastically polite and helpful.

Loved the spa, the variety of things to try and the calming space. Our treatments were lovely too so can't fault the spa aspect but the vitalite cafe was a serious let down. Service was shockingly bad both at breakfast, lunch and tea. We had to ask to be served each time. Ordered cake and teas to finish off our day and then had to ask for the cake to be brought out. Then was brought stale, rock hard clotted cream (expiry of that same day). I asked for a replacement so was brought the same but microwaved. Really shocking service. I spoke with the manager who removed this from our bill but didn't seem too phased by microwaved clotted cream. Very odd. And just left our last thing and thought of the day as being exasperating. I'd definitely recommend management look at the restaurant because it lets the whole place down.

Hello everyone, just wanna say it’s a good place tbf the team are great but I have not been back for a long time because I think it’s £20 to enter and looking around it’s quite fun down and some of the things don’t work you up the price and less things work and no paint work has being done but apart from that it could be really nice see you soon

This place is quite dirty and smelly. Even the clean towels start smelling the moment they get slightly wet. There isn't any ventilation and water accumulates everywhere, with poorly designed drainage.

Easy and cheap changes they could do:

- Replace the plastic padlocks with metal ones. If visiting with something valuable bigger than their tiny metal box they provide at check-in, you have to leave it in those totally unsafe cages.
- Maintenance: fix not working showers, toilets and dispensers.
- Cleaning more often: like seriously, the smell and the mold.
- Better towels or at least more free replacements.
- Introducing some sauna specialized hypoallergenic aromas.
- Flip-flops included.
- Things break: be transparent with what works or not at the door and website. And maybe introduce a discount if something is not.
- Staff: They're usually dismissive and they don't want to explain things to you. So use your website to explain your weird access system.

The location is great and equipments are more than enough.
However, it is its friendly and easygoing staffs that make it so special and attractive. To be more specific, Josh is unbelievably friendly and helpful when I visited the place for my first time and made me feel like I am already a member there even though I wasn’t.

Me( pre op), 2 other trans girl (pre op) and my trans partner (post op) were denied entry because she doesn't have anything downstairs anymore then got sent to the chameleon club then got denied there because 3 of us trans girls has something more in our underwear just wanted a nice night but ended up driving back to London

Overall it was a good experience, however I think they’ve over complicated themselves with all the rooms. A lot of the rooms didn’t work or weren’t warm enough. I’d say only one sauna and a couple of steam rooms were great and the rest disappointing. The “sensory section” was very underwhelming!! However not a lot of spas offer free demonstrations and seminars so this was great - got to try several facial products and the staff were lovely. We had a relaxing morning but, I’ve been to better spas.

I was visiting London and bought a one-week pass for SweatBox. I had a great time. I spent most of my time at the gym but it's always fun knowing you can enjoy all the facilities after your workout. The staff were very friendly. There's nowhere else like it. Can't wait to come back next time I'm in London. Great value for money, even if you just want a place to work out.

The whole fitness first group is great, but the people at the Liverpool Street branch make it. I go to a weekly Sparring class with Lion who makes everyone feel motivated and welcome, always encouraging and pushing us to our limits.

Enjoyed the most wonderful, relaxing, luxurious, overnight spa break here.

Absolutely loved everything about it! The spa itself was superb. The spa suite was 5 star. Had a massage that was really good too. Food and service were fantastic.

The breaks are expensive, but an an amazing treat.

I've recently started using their gym. It's small but decent. Gave me motivation to go more frequently. Staff are visibly cleaning the areas regularly. Staff are efficient and polite. The guys are pretty varied and random. You get the whole cross section of London with lots of visitors and some locals. Overall, it's a pleasant experience any time of the day or night. The steam area has recently felt very hot for my taste though. I've stopped going there and just lingered elsewhere.

Matt the General Manager at Liverpool Street was extremely helpful - Is a great gym in a very convenient location for those in the city - staff always very accommodating. Would recommend

My body and mind have benefited greatly from training at Fitness First Liverpool Street. The convenient location, attentive trainers, and cleanliness is hard to beat too! Over the past two months, I’ve tried out a bunch of classes and have some favorites to recommend! :)

- SPARR with Taariq and Amber. A constant class in my split! Taariq and Amber have managed to incorporate a balance of boxing and cardio, which I find to be a perfect challenge. The environment created in SPARR is fun, stress relieving, and empowering. The trainers provide consistent source of motivation with their words and energy, as well as helpful form corrections to ensure you’re maximizing the workout. I highly encourage everyone to try it out!

- TRAX with Tyrese. This class definitely attacks my willpower in the early morning and challenges my body in every way, but I’ve seen great transformations in regards to my strength and stamina. Tyrese has infectious energy that motivates you to persevere through the pain of his exercises and the accompanying mental resistance. Big fan of this class (and Tyrese)!

- FF HIIT and FF Core with Mike. I really enjoy the structure of Mike’s HIIT workout and the variety of movements he includes. He does a brilliant job of encouraging me to push my limits through increasing my weight and maintaining my intensity till the last rep! Right after HIIT, his core class is difficult, but in the best way. Mike has a vibrant personality that shines through his love for fitness!

- Bootcamp and Recharge with Victor. I really like how Victor structures his Bootcamp workouts because they target every muscle in the body and I never find myself to be bored. A must try class is his Recharge class, which is a mixture of stretching and dynamic mobility exercises. Recharge has improved my athletic performance and my body in general. Victor is super friendly and has such a passion for health and wellness, which is evident through his knowledge and thoughtful approaches!

Grundsätzlich ein super Ort mit tollem Publikum. Aber:

- Es gibt keine einzige kalte Dusche. Ich habe mit vielen gesprochen und alle sagen dasselbe. Eine kalte Dusche nach der Sauna ist ein Muss, das ist so so wichtig für den Kreislauf. Es hat nur einen Eimer, der immer leer ist weil alle ihn nutzen möchten. Hoffe das wird geändert, nur eine Dusche zu ändern kostet kaum Geld.
- Boden im Treppenhaus sehr schmutzig

Smart, clean and tidy and well staffed, ideal fitness centre with the added bonus of a pool, sauna and steam room. Classes are available. This is a fitness suite not a bodybuilders gym. So all you budding "Arnold Cheeseburgers" it's not for you.

Great gym and well equipped but does lack a few pieces of equipment. Great pool, friendly staff and enough room without being on top of someone else whilst working out. Changing rooms are on the small and there's no privacy in the showers at all. Changing rooms are right alongside the pool area so it's very warm and by the time you have showered and changed you are sweating again.

Knapp so gross wie mein Wohnzimmer...das ist ja echt verarschung...bloss nicht...!!!

We did a spa day, ten of us... Very nice. We are regulars now, just booked our third! Nice spa area, brilliant classes and delicious lunch. A wonderful day! It's pricey....I think they could do better offers,. especially for regulars...and we use the return vouchers but I still feel I could be better rewarded as a regular customer who has brought so many friends! ;) I also think it's a shame and slightly unfair to charge per class-its not much but it adds up and takes away some of the charm when you've spent so much for the day "with classes included". Also I think tea and coffee could be available all day, and certainly for free, especially after lunch. It's a pain having to go to the lounge and wait for them to make it one by one (it takes forever, and you waste precious spa and relaxation time!) - and again an extra you shouldn't have to pay for when you've spent so much on the day. I have stayed a few times before overnight and the rooms are nice. The food portions seem to be getting bigger as they have been quite mean in the past. I wouldn't describe it as luxury but it's clean and nice and the pool is a highlight as it's so big, the water is warm and the spa area is fantastic and relaxing.

Nicht zum empfehlen... dreckige und unhygienische bereiche... und es müffelt heftig. Die Handtücher oder was das sein soll... man kann sich nicht mal damit abtrocken. Sie sollten mal kernsanieren.

Die Sauna ist ein Witz. War nur dort, weil Massagen angeboten werden. Dafür keinen Eintritt bezahlt. Das ist aber auch das einzig Gute. Viel zu wenig Platz. Etliche alte Männer in Strassenkleidung. Macht keinen Spass.

Waren Donnerstags da, super junges Publikum, selten so junges Publikum gesehen.
Von außen macht die Sauna ein bessere Eindruck als von drin.
Die Umkleide alt kaputt und dreckig.
Allgemein sehr dunkel und muffig die Sauna.
Den Whirlpool haben wir komplett gemieden.
Im großen und ganzen, die Sauna muss dringend renoviert werden!
Heller, sauberer freundlicher bessere Belüftung usw.
Wäre nur ein Stern aber durch das junge Publikum gibt es den 2ten.

Sehr alt, kaputt und dreckig. In der Haupt "Sauna" riecht es nach Käsefüsse. Sonst riecht es muffig und nach Rauch ...
Nicht zu empfehlen.
Nach hin und her mit dem Chef haben wir unser Geld zurück bekommen nach dem er uns aufgefordert hat das Badehaus zu verlassen.- War es ihm unangenehm oder konnte er mit der Kritik nicht umgehen ?
