Fantastic, lovely, clean site. Claire and all the staff are amazing.
Always a great weekend at Blakemere holiday park. A great place to stay all year around. The wardens are firm but fair and keep the whole place very clean and safe for everyone to enjoy. Thanks again for your warm hospitality and the laughs
We had a lovely two night stay on one of the touring pitches. Lovely view of the loch. We had a very warm and friendly welcome from the staff who could not have been more helpful. Nice and quiet and peaceful, facilities were spotless and everything we needed. Highly recommended!

Another stay at the Manor Wood House on Manor Wood County Park and as ever, amazing. Staff and facilities are always exceptional and the house is beautiful. We have stayed a few times with our 5 children ages 3 to 13 and have so many memories made. The pool, tennis court, cricket football, pool table table tennis and the games in the house for rainy days!! Kids love the park with sand so it pleases everyone who misses the beach!! We caught lots of carp and smaller fish in the fishing right outside the back door. Beautiful all round and we can't wait to get back in Aug...a hour from our home and it seems another world. X
Stayed here for the week with my partner and our two children (aged 10 & 11). We stayed in 'The Paddock'- this area is a circle lay out with the caravans going around the out side and a grass area in the centre. Seemed alot more spacious and quieter than the other area, I would personally choose this area if your unsure which to book. Pitches are large and a decent amount of space between yourselves and the pitch next to you. There are tons of activities to do on site at a cost, these include; air riffle shooting, archery, crafts, pottery painting, falconry, segway, crazy golf, fun fair, low ropes, soft play, miniature railway, cycle hire. There are many shops to wonder around- a couple of antique shops (which were larger than I expected), an indoor plant shop, sweet shop, garden ornaments, pet shop, homewear shop, restaurants and more- factor in a good couple of hours to wonder around. I believe they also have a carboot/market on once a month (Sunday) and seasonal activities and some events throughout the year.
There is a play area on site and a play area the back of the village.
The site had a free trail on where the children had to find the pictures hidden around the site, they got some sweets after completing the trail.
There is a woodland walk the back of the village.
The toilets and showers were of high standard and very clean, some of the best shower/toilet facilities I've seen on a touring site.
The site is also well maintained and tidy.
If you have a dog- the dog walking area is huge.
Generally a really decent site, we would stay here again. During our stay we visited; Chester Zoo, Blue Planet Aquarium, Beeston Castle (English Heritage), Delamere Forest, Tatton Park (National Trust), Dunston Massey (National Trust), Chester Town, Grosvenor Museum (free, donation). There are also many other places to visit such as; BeWilderwood, Ice Cream Farm and a couple other National Trust places etc.
Really enjoyed our stay, we plan on stopping again.
Best campsite on our ten day trip. Pitches are flat and wide, facilities are top notch and the town itself is lovely and only a few minutes walk away. Can’t go wrong
Some of the best facilities ever seen in a campsite. Spotless toilet blocks, shower rooms with private changing place. Simply amazing. Washing machine and drier offered at £5 and £3 respectively. They let us couple bike packers pitch up just before the reception closed.
Honestly....... probably one of the best campsites we've ever stayed at, cleanliness is meticulous, organisation is perfect, staff are friendly and welcoming, every service need is catered for on site. Short proximity to Ballatar village, lots of shops and cafes for rainy days. Lots of walks for all abilities and places to visit nearby.
Site is on edge of River Dee, can watch people fly fishing. It's all lovely.
Excellent campsite with lovely wide pitches and, well organised and clean facilities. Reception welcome was good and informative. Location great for Ballater shops, restaurants and walks round the area - would recommend the 10mile Cambus O May route.
We have been at Dalefords caravan park for just over a year, we love it and wished we had moved earlier, the community is amazing and the wardens Pete & bez are wonderful, so friendly and helpful. Lovely community of people
It's a lovely place, peaceful and quiet.
Was there for over 4 years the lady who owned the site was very nice and prices for pitches were very reasonable 2and a half years later she sold the site to a family of idiots they tell lies all the time ,put the prices up the second year by £800 pound ,so prices for the pitches are well to high , site looks very nice but don’t be fooled , don’t trust the wardens either they will seem very nice but there not they tell lies as well be warned don’t go there they are only after your money , they have got static caravans there for sale you can get one for £40,000 they are trying to sell them for £70,000 they are cons don’t fall for it so glad we got away from there
Cafe lovely coffee excellent..floods unbelievable..atmosphere great..
Thought I'd pop in for a quick snack. It was busy but the service was swift. The food tasty and filling, the coffee was good too. In better weather it would be a good safe place to let your children run about however there is a lake so some care is needed.
Outstanding Caravan Park.
Grounds are immaculate. Toilets and showers super clean. Check in is friendly and smooth.
Staff (some are volunteers) are super welcoming, patient and genuine.
The location could not be better. Right next to the river, golf course, walking trails and the town a minute walk.
I highly recommend this park.
Booked 3 caravans, rang up on Thursday to confirm the time we can enter the caravans, wasn't told on the phone that 1 caravan you couldn't use the toilet or shower! And the fridge and shower was mouldy, Even though it had been an issue for 2 weeks!! 2nd caravan, curtains hanging off, had to clean the bedroom cupboards before unpacking, the sink waste goes straight onto the grass and not into a drain, the 3rd caravan the window was hanging off which was reported in May when we stayed! Spoke to the owner and her attitude was disgraceful!! Customer service doesn't apply to her! She doesn't like any complaints and will not have any customer back who has to complain! AVOID AVOID AVOID !!!!
First vist to this site at the weekend we had a lovely time, staff were so friendly and very helpful. We felt safe and relaxed and socially distancing signs and hand gel everywhere, but the best idea was hot food beginning delivered to you caravan, we had fish and chips I hope other sites do the same it was brilliant.carnt wait to come back for another stay x x x
Great place to stay. Clean facilities warm and friendly welcome. Convient walk to the lovely Market Town of Uttoxeter about 15 mins away. Where you will find all the shops including lidl tesco waitrose argos etc. Lots of places to eat. Also there is a dog walk on site around the race track so long as kept on a lead. Why not plan you trip around a race meeting although this will mean more noise on the day but would be entertaining.

Toller Campground.
Amazing site. Very friendly owner who couldn't do any more to help if she tried. A site warden who goes above and beyond not only carrying out his daily duties but then joins in with all the kids playing football, Frisbee or whatever afternoon activity the kids are enjoying playing. I have stayed here for many years (winter and summer months) in a touring caravan and most recently a tent. My young son loves it and we are always made to feel welcome not only by the site staff but the regular seasonal caravan owners as well. The site is very well kept, ponds look amazing and the people fishing never have a bad word to say. Play area and grassed area is great and always occupied by kids enjoying themselves throughout the day. Pitch sizes are very generous, shower/toilet block is immaculate. i really cannot fault this site at all. Both me and my son are already looking forward to our next "lads adventure" on this beautiful site. so many memories of this site and so may more to be made.

Toller Camping Platz mit vielen Annehmlichkeiten, wie Swimmingpool etc.
Vorallem aber sehr ruhig gelegen und sehr ruhige Bewohner
