The staff and the hospital team are wonderful and you do feel they care
Doesn't even deserve a star for A&E or any part of his hospital.. urgent care isn't what it seems you could be dying and then still won't see you. I've came in here many times suffering with a lot of different things and, waited . All u do in a&e is wait... The staff are a joke no respect and lack of communication.. you go to hospital in ambulance and make u wait in a ahead full of sick patients with other on the streachers.. They rate ur sickness and put u lower on the lists.. I come here a lot and have been hospitalized.. Staff arnt Friendly even with young people in there care.. Food is appaling.. Evey thing tasted horrible even the water.. No other options only getting ur own food from down stairs.. I was on a ward. And the next person next to me stole couple of my things. The staff didn't do anything about it even tho the stuff they took ment a lot.. No privacy in wards.. Can't get spert rooms only if ur dying.. The health care is horrible.. Take all day to get some blood results back.. had no empathy towards how I felt..the shower rooms have no shelfs to put your cloths on.. So had to put everything on the toilet. Provid luxurys where discrasfull... Would not Reccommed thinking about coming here.
Unless u want to die in the waiting rooms or want a horrible experience
My most recent visit at Manor hospital has been just exceptional. Peads A&E staff were absolutely amazing. My 13yo came in with a nasty fracture. He had treatment in A&E but was also referred for a surgery. The staff on the ward have provided excellent care too. Surgery staff inspoke to

A beautiful hospital. The car park is clean with clearly displayed signs. I saw maintenance workers litter picking outside which is nice to see. Pay when you leave (the machines are by the entrance , very handy ) again clearly displayed. The receptionist was loverly and helpful. What I found really nice was for a hospital the colourful windows, nice and bright allowing the sun light in. The signs in the hospital are clear so you can easily find where you’re going with escalators and lifts which again is handy. There’s a spar, Costa everything you could need and a charity shop which was loverly to see I did pop in . All the staff were friendly and approachable. I really did have a positive experience there.
Over the last 7 years I've had a lot of contact with the hospital and have always found them very good and helpful from having a bowel cancer operation to having my teeth out. Exemplary service from my stoma nurses.
My experience at Manor Hospital's A&E department was nothing short of appalling. After arriving in excruciating pain at 11:30 pm on Wednesday, I endured an agonizing 11-hour wait in the waiting room until 9 am the following morning. Despite repeated inquiries, I was informed that only one GP was working the entire night, a completely unacceptable staffing level for an emergency department.

Throughout the night, I found the receptionists to be unhelpful, and the nurses displayed a shocking lack of care and diligence in assessing my condition. When I finally had a consultation with a GP, it lasted a mere three minutes if that after an 11-hour wait.

This experience highlights the glaring inadequacies of Manor Hospital's A&E department.
Action must be taken to address these systemic failures, as no one should endure such suffering while seeking urgent medical attention. I will be writing to the head office to ensure that these issues are not swept under the rug and that meaningful improvements are made to prevent others from enduring similar neglect and mistreatment.
All the staff and nurses did a great job of caring for our father James who sadly passed on 18/02/24. We have still not come to terms with his loss but we can only say thank you for doing what you could. Jim is greatly missed by his family and local community.
I am usually on the otherside, dealing with patients and families in another hospital in Birmingham.

Today I had to attend A&E AT Walsall within a hour of phoning 111. My colleagues were concerned about my post viral cough, wheezing, coughing fits and shortness of breath. I had to be seen.

Unfortunately there were no parking spaces and nearly gave up but I phoned the hospital to explain what happened. The switchboard were amazing and out me through to Security. Because there were no spaces and I couldn't walk far, they allowed me to park very near and would keep an eye out. I am so ill and exceptionally grateful to be being treated like a human being.

The lady at the old A&E reception is a beautiful soul, absolutely lovely, humane and helpful.

The bloods nurses and cardio nurses again, very mindful and caring. I am diabetic and the nurse brought me a sandwich which I wanted to pay for but she wouldn't have it - seriously, that was the kindest gesture x

It's taken 5 hours to have my tests and bloods but the staff are genuinely kind and deserve an award.
Fantastic service! Visited A&E children's department a lady called Kerry was so helpful really good at her job and provided excellent service. X ray department staff were really good, ladies Sue & Bella and the doctors! Thank you can't fault at all. Had to wait a couple of hours but we should appreciate the hard work and free service. Thank you so much 🥰
111 refer to urgent emergency care where patient need to wait 5 to 7 hours to be seen.
Visit manor hospital for my baby because GP don’t have any appointments last two days .

Tv screen showing waiting time 10 minutes where patient needs to wait 5 to 7 hours. It’s absolutely ironic.
Husband went in for a minor operation. From start to finish couldn’t fault the staff or facilities. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Made him feel at ease and made sure he knew exactly what was happening. Even made sure he got to the car when I went to pick him up. Fantastic
My husband went to Endoscopy Unit for a lung sample biopsy , we were both nervous to say the least but all staff that cared/tested my husband were extremely polite professional and caring. We were really put at ease by their care.
Excellent care when there this summer with potential sepsis. Noise at night causing Sleep deprivation was the only complaint, but they responded by silencing doors slamming and chatter in rooms and not corridor, not just giving a sleeping pill.
Only 4 years later on waiting list for treatment with IVF ... don't put yourself through this, save, go private.. probably toooo late for me now... and it will be for you if you go through this hospital to have treatment with IVF ... sorry but only telling you the truth! Don't waste your time with them x
Plenty of Parking. Hospital always looks clean. . I had to spend a good few hours in Day Surgery Unit as well as other clinics. Such a shame the Welsh Government DOWNGRADED the hospital.
Staff are lovely.
