Really good, reasonably priced food, friendly and helpful staff, great atmosphere too. Me and my husband always enjoy our meals at Bistro Pierre. Their tomato soup is the best I've ever tasted, I can highly recommend it.

I'm glad I made a reservation. I had the surf and turf and it was fabulous! Also, the olive mix they start you off with us so good! The atmosphere is fun and the staff is friendly and professional.

The rabbit was super salty but the pickle was lovely
The quail was salty as well but less than the rabbit. Veal Raju was nice but again a bit salty. The almonds were nice. The custard in the dessert was amazing and their service was excellent.
That is a lovely French cuisine little gem in Covent Garden. Small restaurant with cosy atmosphere (we nearly made friends with people at the table next to us as you can hear everything), great food (our main, desert and drinks were fab) and lovely staff. The menu has all the main French cuisine dishes in case you’re a fan like me, so it was a hard choice (means we have to come again). We came for a pre-theatre dinner and really enjoyed it. It’s over to you now.
Dear Brasserie Blanc Team,

I wanted to take a moment to express our heartfelt gratitude for the wonderful experience we had during our recent visit to your establishment. My wife and I chose Brasserie Blanc to celebrate her birthday with our friends , and it turned out to be a truly memorable evening.

From the moment we stepped through the door, we were greeted with warmth and hospitality that immediately made us feel welcome. Your staff's attentiveness and helpfulness throughout the evening added an extra layer of enjoyment to our dining experience. It's evident that your team takes great pride in providing exceptional service, and it did not go unnoticed.

Now, let's talk about the food. It was simply exquisite. Every dish we sampled was a delight to the senses, from the appetizers to the desserts. The flavors were vibrant, the presentation was impeccable, and it was evident that each dish was prepared with care and attention to detail. It felt like a culinary journey through France, and as frequent travelers to the country, we were thrilled to find that Brasserie Blanc captured the essence of French cuisine so perfectly.

Overall, our visit to Brasserie Blanc exceeded our expectations in every way. Thank you for creating such a wonderful dining environment where guests can come together to celebrate special occasions and create lasting memories. We look forward to returning soon and indulging in more of your delightful offerings.

Warm regards,
Dariusz

I’ve been here a few times because ambience is great especially in a group setting with friends, but every time I leave this place I think to myself - ‘this is overpriced average food’. The only thing worth ordering here is their Coulibiac/Bar en croute. Pictures from my latest haul - Coulibiac and the other, suckling lamb leg which came with beans on the side (not pictured). We sent the beans back because it tasted like the sea but when it came back it tasted like it has just been diluted with water. I hope I will never be tempted by their good vibes again and come back to this place

First visit and thoroughly enjoyed myself. Service was great, the staff were very knowledgeable about the food and wine. The food was delicious. My favourite dish was the wild garlic gnocchi. Amazing. Good portion sizes too.

A very quiet and calming restaurant where we didn't feel rushed throughout our meal. Service was pleasant and the food came out within decent time. Our issue was with the food. Saw many going for the mussels but it smelt horrid/stank when it came out. We didn't think much of it cause the lady beside us who ordered the same mussels didn't seem bothered by it (it was our first time trying mussels). However now we suspect that it wasn't fresh. Also had the pasta with prawn which now looking through the previous reviews, someone once got food poisoning from it. Which was what we had once we left the restaurant. What a pity, the pleasant service was ruined by the food.

Just had 2 course set lunch with my wife here. Ordered steak frites and chicken, with onion soup and panna cotta. Wow. The food is the best I had in edinburgh. Cant resist. Ordered mussles too. I've made reservations to eat again tonight

This place was so lovely! I had been siteseeing at the Castle all morning. When I came out it was cold and drizzly, and I was hungry. I spotted Le Bistrot in the building of The French Institute. The atmosphere was quite cozy and comfortable, and a welcome respite to the busy, chilly streets. I warmed up with some cafe au lait and then had a lovely lunch of quiche, salad, mussels, and bread--with their prix fixed menu it was also quite affordable. I highly recommend it!

Lovely restaurant near Columbia Road. Great place if you’re up for sharing. We tried most of the dishes on the menu and they were all extremely tasty and original. I would definitely recommend the quail, veal bavette and lamb chops. The sommelier was super helpful and gave us great recommendations. I will go back soon!

Love this place. Felt like I was in France again. Low ceilings, only lit by candles. The staff kind, welcoming and attentive. The food was absolutely great. The wine - we drank bottles of the house wine, it was so good. They sang happy birthday to my husband with just a quick passing by alert to them they made it so special. We will come back when we are in Edinburg again.

This place was recommended to me by a friend and boy it was so good. Everything on the menu is reasonably priced despite being in the city centre of Edinburgh. I would recommend anyone to book a table before going as it is crowded and full. We went aa a family of 6 and an infant and it was below £200 but that’s the price without any alcohol. Surf and turf was £30 and full lobster was £32.40. I personally prefer it a bit quieter but hey ho it’s good that’s why is busy!

We came here for dinner and between the three of us, for the starters we shared the pate en croute, scallops and the beetroot tart (all very nice), for the main we shared the coulibiac (the overall dish was nice but some of the layers were underseasoned and some a little salty) and the apple beignet for dessert (really yum). We liked the atmosphere in the conservatory and the service was very good. The waiter was very thorough in explaining the menu, knowledgeable and friendly. I also thought it was good value for money given the quality and quantity of food.
Had a delightful brunch here on a Saturday. Had not booked ahead but was lucky as there was room. It gets busy and is relatively small so I would recommend booking. My food met my expectations, and the service was attentive. Will be happy to eat here again.

Wish we would have had a better experience here. The restaurant itself is ok. Food was a bit disappointing. We ordered the steak, scallops, and chicken. The steak was under seasoned and over cooked. Scallops were over cooked to the point I couldn’t eat a couple pieces of them. The chicken was delicious and the sauce it came with was very delicious. Portions are on the smaller side. I would not return or recommend this place as a dining option.
We were downstairs in the dim, candlelit space; very moody and atmospheric. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Scallop starters were on cauliflower sauce and had a tart drizzle of sauce on top; very soft and satisfying. Beef bourguignon had excellent flavour sauce and the meat a little dry. Mussels were absolutely delicious and the cockerel was also lovely. The creme brulee had one of the best cracking off the brittle melted sugar on top. The lemon tart had wonderful zest and real lemon rind.

I have dined at Brasserie Blanc on a couple of Occassions now, and was thoroughly impressed. Having the renowned chef Raymond Blanc behind the scenes elevated my dining experience to new heights. The staff were incredibly friendly and provided impeccable service throughout our meal. The food exceeded my expectations in both quality and taste, showcasing Blanc's expertise. The ambiance was delightful, creating a pleasant dining experience. Overall, Brasserie Blanc is a must visit for those seeking delicious food, excellent service, and a charming atmosphere. With Raymond Blanc's culinary promise, Brasserie Blanc stands out as a top destination for culinary delight.
Petit bistrot hyper sympa.

Had our first anniversary dinner here. (initially we wanted to go to ‘Casse Croute’ which was nearby, but it was impossible without reservation) At first the outside seatings looked a bit crude, but with flowers on every table and small light bulbs were making the ambience better. Food and service was impeccable!

Gorgeous, cozy restaurant in East London serving dishes that can be shared but also kept all to oneself should you prefer to do so.
Top flavours, a super friendly and chill service and all round amazing atmosphere (really!).
Wine selection was good too, although I didn’t enjoy the Gamay but no biggie.
Not far from the infamous Brick Lane, right next to a small park, this is a little nugget!
Hands down the best onion soup in town (even better than those we had in Paris!)
Very reasonably priced authentic french food, great ambience and attentive service. Love it so much that I came here for our anniversary. We will keep coming back.
Wonderful find! Found on google and decided to try due to good reviews. Didn’t disappoint. Delicious food, wine and home made desserts! It’s a small place that gets full so recommend booking.

One of the best restaurants I ever tried in London, and I don’t mean that lightly. Booked to celebrate a special occasion and it left us speechless. Loved the cozy atmosphere, the service was just lovely (wish I got the name of our waitress, she was so great) and the food is just fantastic. It’s hard to chose as everything was flawless, but our favourites were the anchovies, the brill and the grilled squid with black pudding was the winner 🥇 Thanks to the whole team for such a memorable time!

We went here for my friend’s birthday dinner. I’ve been many times and it’s always great.

Three of us had the steak frites with the garlic butter option which was delicious.

One friend had the half roast chicken with chips. The plating of this dish was very in your face the way the knife sticks out of the dish.

We also order dauphinois to share which were absolutely excellent and I wish I could eat them every day.

We shared two desserts between two which were also yummy.

Very quick service as always!
Really lovely place, kinda in the middle of buildings. Sat outside, they had heaters and covering, and enjoyed a couple of drinks, apps and soup. I will say that they did get busy during happy hour and forgot to bring my dinner plate, but the apps and soups were great and overall a good experience.

The best service ever! My mocktail was amazing, the moules frites was lovely as was the calamari soup! Was my first time trying both dishes and they were lovely! The fresh homemade cheesecake is not to be missed, one of the best I've ever had! Thank you for a wonderful evening!

My goat’s cheese and tomato quiche comes in a rich, collapsing, eggy slice. Thin with a meltingly short pastry crust. Requires no knife. Parfait. Ragoût de boeuf à la bière is the best I’ve encountered in Scotland. This is generous, hearty, homely food, everything cut chunky and holding itself together beautifully: big hunks of beef braised in beer, thick carrot coins, soft fudgy potato halves, earthy slabs of swede, plenty of not overly reduced tomatoey gravy, and a thin ring of oil around the edge to let you know it’s been puttering on a stove for many hours.
Misleading picture menu on the table of the Fresh Cut Croque Monsieur with appetising side salad, which actually appeared as a 2 thin processed sliced bread ham n cheese toastie with chopped iceberg. Tasty enough I guess. Scottish breakfast OK.
Service wasn't great...forgot our tea and coffee ordered with breakfasts, and when reminded, bought each separately and forgot milk ...which had actually been an option on ordering.
Bit sloppy all around really :(
Tasty & high quality food, although I’d say not too many options for pescatarians/vegetarians! Our server was super helpful in answering our questions. Personally the highlights were the wine, bread, and dessert! Perhaps a bit overpriced but overall a nice experience!
This is one of the few restaurants that I actually want to visit again (I’m literally going there this weekend for the second time 😄), and a rare occasion where I felt like trying all the dishes on the menu.
The food was full of flavour, the service friendly and quick, the house wine very nice, and the prices reasonable. I really enjoyed the vibe as well because it reminded me of those typical French bistros.
I will be definitely coming back to this restaurant a lot.
Highly recommended!

Brawn is possibly one of the restaurants I’ll highly recommend in London. Food is great, so is atmosphere & service though I must say it will appeal more to the younger crowd who prefer a more casual ambience. Portions tend to be small & prices not cheap.

The best surf and turf I’ve had! Perfectly cooked steak with delicious juicy lobster 🦞 The meal starts with bread, butter, salad, a salami and pickled gherkins. The surf and turf main comes with fries and was a great portion size. Wine was good. Service was friendly. Would definitely come back when in Edinburgh!

Lovely, casual candlelit French bistro in the heart of Edinburgh. Really tasty, reasonably priced food with a good selection of wine and desserts. Nice spot for a casual date night, gal’s night, or even a family dinner. Recommend making a reservation.

Sub par experience and not what I was expecting. Firstly the food, the mussels were gritty and dry, as if just placed in the sauce rather than being poured over and cooked in. Then there was the boeuf bourguignon - just very disappointing, the smokiness was over powering, there was no depth of flavour and it was generally a very flat and not well rounded meal. There was not enough sauce to meat ratio. For a place that claims to make authentic French food this was in no way an authentic boeuf bourguignon. The waitress was also very quiet in a very loud environment on multiple occasions we had to request that she repeated herself and still didn't speak louder. Customer service was not up to scratch at all. I would not recommend it and would not go back.
What an amazing find. The service was great, the food was excellent and the atmosphere was lovely. We will be back

We had a great Dinner experience. We started with some onion soup, then some beef bourginion all with some bread, cabernet sauvignon wine and finished with some delicious cheese. We will be going again soon as everything was delicious, price was perfect and staff extremely friendly. Looking forward to trying some new dishes there!

See you soon!!

Merci merci merci
We came with our friends last night and had a lovely meal . Service is excellent and food delicious. Our friends are vegetarian and often come here as they say choice and flavour are good. Nice pinot grigio and rioja went down very well 🍷I had a beetroot terrine which was light and then trout over crushed potatoes with watercress sauce. Hubby surprised our veggie friends by having pea and mint ravioli and loving it! We didn't have a sweet as it was my birthday celebration and there was a cake waiting at home but they did look good.
