Great place, great animals and a great day to spend with your family. We travelled up from Wales, and came 2 years ago last. I felt the ride area was looking very tired and it needed new rides and needed updating. I feel there concentrating too much on the new lodges. Other than had a good day with my family which matters the most.
It would be a five star if it wasn't for the issue at the start. It was a very hot day with a toddler. The entry to the toilets is a fantastic way to empty your system before you start to drive through 4 miles safari tour. But when we arrived at the entrance of the safari there were two queues pile up. However I was on the wrong side as it seems only one person is dealing with one row of cars and not the other side. We sat waiting in the car on a very hot day with a child having a tantrum. Unfortunately it was a 27 minute wait even though I had a ticket book. This was unacceptable. However there were others who were not happy. However suddenly 2 people shot out of nowhere and opened the queues. Upon arriving at the service lady, we got served polite and helpful, scan the barcode offer guide and zoo food. We then drove off and started our tour. Going round amazed me, with different animals, windows open to feed in certain areas but will warn you that these animals can damage your car if provoked or unhappy with your handling food. I mean I couldn't stop laughing twice, it had happened in front of me gently knocking and biting the car.
While going round you can use both lane however if you want to stop use left lane!!! Leave the right lane for continue driving!! The amount of time seeing the car stop in the right lane annoys me!! :)When you get to the lion area, you must shut your windows. But overall the safari drive is worth a drive before starting a foot walk.
There are plenty of things to do and I think the whole thing takes two days to visit. There are Sealife, creepy crawlers, bats, ice age and dinosaur models which is brilliant but just warn you lots of long words like spine aw saw us :) warning there is a toilet in dinosaur area if u need to go but be careful 😜 plenty of food selection and ice cream bear in mind we went on weekdays.
But there are also rides to enjoy. We were lucky and enjoyed the extra ride without getting off as it was on school term quieter period. But during school holidays you are more likely to get off every ride and join in queues again. Lemur was a fantastic walk in and close by a foot distance.
Overall a fantastic day, you just need better services at the beginning. I.e when queues get bigger get more staff on top of it to reduce the stress of mum and toddler or disabled people. 27 mins is unacceptable.
Free farm to visit, while you’re heading to Heaton Park, nice quick activity for the kids.
A beautiful park filled with so much to see!
This is a huge park with a number of facilities including a public golf course and a small farm that is great for young children.
You can spend entire day just moving around & brings a lot of joy.
Lovely little farm with lots of activities!

It is a tiny little farm and tickets can be pricey for what there is, however they have activities on around every half an hour which gives the family something fun to do/experience.

Ice cream was delicious. We took our own food and had a picnic which we appreciate that they allow it!

We will be back 🤗
Has to be the BEST safari park we have ever been to. We had the greatest day staff at the park were lovely and the prices were so reasonable the rides were really fun, and all the animals were active and looking fantastic and have lots of room to play loved it so much
Great day out! Could spend all day there. So much to do! Go karts, hay bales, slides, outdoor play area, animals, walks, train rides, trampolines and so much more..... have been on events aswell such as Halloween. Would recommend to anyone! The kids will love it no matter what age!
Took our grandchildren on a weekday. Weather was lovely and there weren’t many people there. We all had a great time. Far far better than I had expected. The staff were all lovely - as were all the animals.
We spent 5 hours there and would happily have stayed longer.
The best place to come with the kids.

The staff are so friendly & will chat about the animals with you!

There is so much for the kids to see & do.

They have sooo many events on as well & they really put so much effort into them with decorations & activities.

We have been coming for years, even before our son was born. Can't recommend enough
☺️
Another great family place. Loads to do with the kids. Go carts, mini golf, train ride, sand pit, trampolines, slides, haybarn & loads and loads of animals.that the kids can see and feed Cafe there and picnic benches of you brought your own food. The only thing you need to pay for once you are in is the cafe/shop, animal food (50p per token) & the mini golf. Everything else is included in the price. We managed to get the tickets half price through the post code bingo they done, and it was £32.56 for a family of 4. 2 kids 3 plus. For this price it was great. For full price, it would be quite expensive, i think, for a family day out, but for a treat, it would be worth it. It's just not something you could do on a regular basis. Overall, we had a great day, and I would definitely go back again. It was fairly dry the day we went, which makes a difference as well.
We only live about 10 minutes away, but this was my first time visit with my 3 year old son. Excellent day out. There was so much for him to do, and see. We were there for 4 fun packed hours, and we'll DEFINITELY be going back!
This has to be the best safari I've ever been to. Started with feeding the giraffe experience, which was a personal wish of mine, followed by a brilliant safari in car with loads of fantastic animals, then headed over to the walk in. What a fantastic place, the bat caves beautiful, the animals are incredible and we went on the fayre too which one wristbands only cost £10!!! Just a perfect day ✨️
Make sure you book first drive slot of the day if you want a chill drive around. It looks so much busier after we had gotten out the drive round. We arrived 5 minutes before opening and there wasn’t too much of a queue. The animals you can feed are only in the first section of the drive. We didn’t know this and had a lot of left over food. When there you do get offered a second slot to drive around again later. The views of the animals were incredible. Really close up experiences. Great for a family day out but definitely a long day of driving if you already have to commute to this location. Loved the sea lion show. When walking through the main park all you can smell is the car fumes which is sad.
Nestled amidst the urban hustle, lies a verdant oasis, a tranquil green park. Here, lush foliage dances in the gentle breeze, while vibrant flowers paint a tapestry of colors. The symphony of chirping birds and rustling leaves serenades visitors, inviting them to unwind and embrace nature's embrace. Strolling along winding pathways, one can't help but feel rejuvenated by the park's serene beauty, a sanctuary where city life fades into the background, and peace reigns supreme.
Very nice and well Maintained farm, animal like sheep, Lamb, Llama, cow, pigs, chicken, ducks 🦆 are there. Kids love this farm as they enjoyed a day with different activities including walk and feeding animals.
Best day out for a long time ! This is a fabulous place for anyone from 1 to 91.
Lovely staff, so friendly and helpful. The activities are well organised and are great fun. There is something for all ages, I was with a friend and her 5 year old and could have stayed all day. Tractor rides, carousel, jumping pillow, large sand pit, roll play, and potting shed. The animals are adorable, and with supervision, you are able to hold the small ones and feed the goats, sheep, lambs and donkeys.
You can eat in the café if you wish, but you can even take your own picnic and eat at the inside tables or outside if you prefer.
There are themed events throughout the year....can't wait for our next visit.
Good place, but the toilet doesn't work at day.
Suitable for toddlers and children. Variety of animals (pigs, goats, sheep, cows, llamas, chickens, parakeets, peacocks and 2 ponies). Toilets on site but some not in working condition. Small cafe available for the purchase of snacks and drinks.
Amazing day out for all the family. We'll worth a visit and plenty to keep the kids entertained. Will be back soon.
Was pretty good, apart from a few rides that were closed, and shut whilst there. Which with 4 kids is annoying, would be nice for warning before going or money off.

One of the best experiences I've had with my family was visiting the Safari Park. It was an amazing opportunity to explore a variety of different animals. The highlight was driving through the safari in our car, getting up close to the animals and even feeding them, which was a truly unique experience. Luckily, we were able to get tickets on the same day and it wasn't too crowded. After spending almost two hours driving through the safari, we then enjoyed a walk among the animals and caught a sea lion show. I highly recommend visiting the safari when the weather is nice and warm.
We came here for the first time yesterday and it was really good for the kids, Easter egg hunt and crafts to do. Cafe Prices were good also and great customer service from all staff. Will probably visit again throughout the holidays.
My 8 year old son is non verbal autistic. Somedays are easy and some are really hard, you can never predict the day you will have. Today was a hard day for him, he just wanted to go home as he found it to much. He wasn't enjoying the amount of people their and the weather. So I spoke to the manager and explained my son wants to go home but hasn't got to experience anything yet and they catered for my son in such a special way to make sure he gets the most out of his experience. Gave him a quite space to see the snakes and dinasours early that he loves and finds soothing which then in return ended up in him then calming down and wanting to stay a little longer before wanting to leave. They was amazing as always. Cater very lovely to children like mine, wish most places was like this. 👍 people like that make a massive difference.
Very good
I and my family enjoyed Safari Park. I recommend starting your safari adventure at Midland Park early in the day, aiming for a slot between 10:30 AM and 11:00 AM. There's a restroom near the parking area; it's advisable to utilize it before embarking on your safari journey. Occasionally, due to crowds, the safari ride can take up to two hours, and opening doors during the ride is prohibited. Animal food is available for purchase at the entrance, offering a unique experience of feeding antelopes, zebras, and deer, which I found particularly enjoyable. Plan to spend about one to one and a half hours completing the safari. Afterward, you can explore other attractions such as feeding the parrots and penguins, as well as attending the sea lion show. It's a good idea to inquire about the sea lion show slot in advance. We purchased the £10 ride band, as it can save you money if you plan to experience more than three - four rides, each costing approximately £2-£4. Arriving early allows ample time to enjoy all the park's attractions until evening.

These are some really nice goats. Some of the best goats. The goats are quite beefy. The goats will eat literally anything offered to them. The goats enjoyed biting the small hands of children. No need to book in advance. Sometimes they are not there. 95/100
It’s a good place, though not a big space, to have a family time with kids who love animals like monkeys, spiders, frogs, snakes, pythons, parrots, macaos, fishes, and various other insects.
Great place ! You can enjoy by watching variety of farm animals here like pigs , sheeps, cow, goats, donkeys , peacock, duck etc.. there is no entrance fee here. All ages can visit and they open on everyday. You can feed birds and animals with their instruction in the farm.
I drove me and my kids down from Newcastle on the weekend and it was so worth the 4 hour drive. My kids absolutely loved feeding the animals (especially the zebras) from the comfort of our van. We then parked up and went inside the park, the kids loved feeding the penguins and seeing all of the other animals too. Worth every penny, and I recommend it to everyone. We will definitely be back!
There are many animals and birds that you can feed with £1 worth of feed available at their office. Entry is free, and your kids will enjoy the visit. Additionally, there is a restaurant and a few other shops available.

The goats are called Wallace and Gromit and they’re great to visit. They don’t like the rain though
Nestled amidst Canary Wharf's urban landscape, Mudchute Farm offers a refreshing escape into nature. With its diverse array of animals—sheep, ducks, swans, horses, and friendly squirrels—it's a delightful oasis in the heart of the concrete jungle. The winding paths create a countryside ambiance, providing a unique contrast with occasional distant glimpses of towering buildings. Whether you seek a tranquil day out or a different running environment, Mudchute Farm is undoubtedly worth a visit, offering a charming blend of city and country vibes.
Absolutely incredible place! I came to see the modern skyscrapers of Canary Wharf and found myself in a mixture of a zoo and animal farm. Although I am not a fan of watching animals in captivity, I could not avoid noticing that Mudchute residents are in good care and look truly fussed over. However, the most amazing thing is the location - an animal farm is the last thing one expects in the center of global investment business and cutting edge office life. Definitely worth of a visit to make one’s picture of London more full and diverse.

Tbh i thought there was more to be seen. The place is small and not long to go round. Even with my toddler. The animals, however, do look well cared for and staff were friendly and knowledgeable. Handling session was quick. It isn't overally expensive. Love Eric, mascot to the RAF, the ants and bats.
What a magical experience.
From when you walk in, starting with the elf workshop where you build a stuff animal, then onto the pole office wirh a short stop at the elf sweet shop.
Then onto the Mrs Claus kitchen where the children decorated a ginger bread, seen the robotic reindeer that sing and finally onto santa coming down the chimney and getting a gift.

It was amazing and well priced.
The staff were brilliant.
Lovely magical experience for everyone especially the little ones. I think it’s well worth the money, they get to make their own soft toy to take home, sweets from the shop, decorate a gingerbread man and a present from Santa. I took my 3 year old Granddaughter who was a bit overwhelmed at times and a little reluctant to join in at first but the kindness and patience of all Santa’s helpers meant she was very brave and got to see him in the end and get her present so I would like to say a big thank you to all of them for that.
The park size is OK. Not that big like almond valley livingstone.
Clyde valley does not have swings, see saw.. Not even a soft play for the kids.
Bounce ground is not up to date.
We came this evening with 9 children from the ages of 11 months old to 12 years old and each and everyone of them thoroughly enjoyed it. The work that has gone in To make the experience special is so obvious and appreciated. Thank you for going the extra mile; this was truly the best Santa experience we have had. The team all work so hard to make it magical and they are a credit to the farm. Thank you
Took our 16 month old girl to meet Santa and it was a really lovely place to visit. Elves , Grinch , Mrs clause and the big man himself . Really professionally done . All very impressed . Definitely booking for next year
It was a lovley and magical experience from start to finish all the staff were really friendly and helpful, the only thing I would say is it dose get quite busy inside and your in smaller spaces with lots of things going on at the same time which was a struggle for my son who has autism maybe doing a smaller group for children with additional needs might be a good idea next year and actually releasing those tickets at the same time as the main tickets because I'd have gone for the sen tickets but they were not available untill later on and we had booked already but overall it was a really wonderful experience
We’ve visited yesterday (2 adults, 2 children) and it was magical! The whole experience from meeting the Grinch in the car park to the elves, Mrs claus and Father Christmas was amazing. My children said this has been the best experience they’ve ever had. We will be back
Perfect for the little ones!
We took our 10 month old who loved the friendly animals, huge play park, soft play area and the bumpy tractor ride! Great for burning off energy and the ice cream is great too. Staff are super friendly and helpful. We spent 3 hours at the farm but with slightly older kids, you could make a real day of it. There was plenty of seating for a picnic and the play park is huge. We arrived for 11am which was great because it was still really quiet; it did start to get busier by the afternoon but the farm is large enough to accommodate. We will definitely be back in the future, thanks Reddish Vale!
It's been our second time here and I can honestly say we did have an amazing time .
We end up staying for 6 hours and my 4 year old daughter did not want to leave.
There is plenty to entertain the kids.
You have all heard about the train ride but this is just one of the attractions.
We did enjoy the slides, hay barn, jumping pillows and trampolines and go karts ( although I felt this could be supervised; it was really difficult to get our turn as people tend to go round and round forever not really thinking to let the others ride as well). Egg hunt was a nice bonus too (Easter time). Once you have found an egg you could exchange it for a sweet treat.
Personally I love all the surroundings, it has some magical air to it, so peaceful and calm despite the crowds.
Also I believe it is good value for the price.
You do not have to eat in (we did however had some chips and ice cream), you could bring your own lunch, there is plenty of tables outside.
So hard to describe it all in detail. To sump it up I do recommend it, I am sure you will not regret it!
Took my 8 month old baby girl here and she loved looking at the big fish and the little black monkeys at the beginning of the exhibit. They were fantastic! Its great to walk around and get a feel for a rainforest but it gets very warm which is to be expected since that's needed to maintain the plants and the enclosures. So dress down for going around. I did find it a little disappointing you go round once and out...and as its one way you can't go back and see exhibits you enjoyed. Not sure if that is just Covid guidelines just now though. Anyway definitely would return when animal handling is back on. Great for families and can go enjoy other areas of M&Ds after so can enjoy a full day out.
