We had an excellent swim at the Lido on a rainy weekday in late March. Lovely cafe too. Two weeks later I got an envelope from the Lido through the post containing my driving licence! I'd accidentally left it in a locker. Staff were kind enough to mail it to me. BEST birthday present 🎁💝. Thank you 🙏

Visited the Center this morning was calling to see if facilities was operational no one answered the phones? Rocked up & paid to use the sauna & steam! Sauna was packed as nothing else worked? I could not relax in spa area as it had a very musty smell of damp & urine, the area was very dirty. I was told cleaners had not been in due to bank holiday weekend, the area should be cleaned every day for hygiene purposes. Steam not working, no signs to advise customers? Complete waste of time, requested a refund of £8 which could only be returned to me in credit! Asked to speak to the manager was told he could not leave the poolside as he was doubling up as a life guard? The council needs to do better you can't feel healthy if your environment if it's musty & smelly or not in use. The young man at reception tried his best so my two stars are for him.
Loved it. Such a great place to swim. Heated outside pool, friendly staff and impecable premises. The environment was lovely with many locals and people of all ages just enjoying a good swim. Keep it up guys!
Had a brilliant swim here. Pool temperature was ok as long as you keep moving but the changing rooms are so clean and warm and the showers are lovely and hot. Will definitely come back for another swim here!
As a gym, it's just about okay... A lot of the equipment is quite tired. There are pins missing on the cable machines, quite a lot of the cardio doesn't work, and quite limited freeweights. I'm only a member cos it's over the road, but I've kept my other gym membership for proper workouts. The changing rooms are grim and could be cleaner, but I understand they're due to be refurbished. That said, it's priced about right for the quality and general kit. The pool is what makes it.

I was Boris Johnsoned by the Managers at Brockwell Lido. They told me to pull up my jeans and take them off and four or five times no joke. I'd previously asked a few times via email and face to face for the rules of the gym and received no reply. I accused them of being racist which is whatever to me as I'm mixed and from all over the UK basically but when I asked why they just would not and could not answer which I found very confusing and wonderfully enlightening at the same time. I also think I had my bottle and top stolen. Still waiting to hear back from them on that matter.

Oh and at the end of the full blown argument I had with the manager at the end she said that everyone in the world finds me inappropriate lol x

bank holiday opening times on the website say until 1700. tried to call twice today to confirm this, and got no answer. arrive at 1540 to see three staff doing not very much on the front desk, and be told it's a 1600 close. staff didn't seem care or apologise for the inconvenience.

always dirty inside, lockers and equipment constantly broken. the latter I complained about previously and never got a response. all super frustrating
I come here regularly for a swim. The sauna gets a bit busy but it's manageable and visitors are friendly towards each other. The staff are warm and welcoming. Thank you.
I wandered lonely as a homeless fish
Until this wonderful lido granted my splish
Clean 50m HEATED outdoor pool. Proper changing rooms, spacious lockers, individual changing cubicles, inside and outside. Hot clean showers, hair driers, swimwear spinner. Disabled access friendly. Lovely atmosphere. Excellent opening hours. Hot drinks near the entrance.
One of my favorite places in London, I swim there twice a week. My only "but", more could be done about ensuring bike safety at their available bike parking space. Today my bicycle has been "ravaged", half of it has been stolen. This seems to be happening very often at their premises. I know this is a difficult one, it's a London epidemic really. A bold idea ... hiring security for the hours when is dark ?
Took our grandsons on the Santa Special. Absolutely brilliant organisation. All pre booked so no queuing. Great build up before the actual ride, which was great. Several activities to do at the far end including a sleigh ride, preparing reindeer food, and hot chocolate & mince pies as well as a visit to the Big Man, who was lovely with the boys. A very substantial present before the ride back. All very relaxing and not at all rushed. All the staff were great and it was a superb experience for all of us. Great value. Well done and thank you. 😊
I absolutely loved this - it brought back so many memories from my childhood holidays in Scarborough.
It's a fun, gentle old-style train with cute little carriages that runs between Peasolm Station & Scalby Mills.
It's an open return ticket so you can spend as much time as you want at the 2nd station before hopping back on the train back to the first station.
It's only a short journey (felt like less than 10 minues each way) with really lovely scenery along the way.
Overall, was definitely worth it for the fun experience and nostalgia! 🙂
