Im hinteren raum, in dem es kein licht und viel zu laute musik gibt, werden verdächtige shirts und pullis verkauft, die verkäufer erschienen mir unsympathisch, es gibt in der nähe seriösere souvenir shops

Besonders gut: interaktiv, super Storytelling, aktuelle Themen mit historischen Themen verbunden (Ausstellung zu UBahnhöfen als Zufluchtsort im Krieg).

So busy and touristy but who doesn't love a good gift shop. Great range if generic london and more unique tower souvenirs. Worth a stop if your in the area but it is always heaving with people

Mein Mann hat für sich und unsere Tochter2 Cappies gekauft. Zunächst sagte der Verkäufer 16 (sixteen) Pfund, berechnet hat er aber 60 (Sixty) Pfund. 120 Pfund für 2 Caps!!!
Mein Mann bemerkte den Fehler, konnte aber leider den ganzen Bezahlvorgang nicht mehr abbrechen. Als er um Rückerstattung bat, sagte man ihm, dass das nicht möglich wäre und nur der Besitzer, der um 19 Uhr im Laden wäre, die Zahlung erstatten könnte. Zu den Zeitpunkt war es 13.30 Uhr und wir hatten nur diesen einen Tag für London eingeplant. Wir haben dann unsere Tour dann so geplant, dass wir um 19 Uhr wieder an den Laden kamen. Der Chef war zwar da, wollte aber nicht Rückerstatten. Was ein Saftladen! Und wenn ich nun die Rezensionen davor lese, in der die eine Kundin statt 2.99 Pfund 299.99 Pfund bezahlt hat und trotz Polizei nichts erreichen konnte, versteht man direkt, mit welchen kriminellen Individuen es zu tun hat.
Deshalb... Meidet diesen Laden!

Nice place located in a neat park, on a hilltop with a spectacular view over the city. Of course, the prime meridian is the main attraction and a must-see for London visitors. The observatory itself is lavishly restored and conserved.
However, the entrance fee is bold, bordering on insolent. Almost £ 70 for a four-headed family (two minors) is a lot, especially considering the exposition and features on location. Not really value for money; rating reduced to some rather weak four stars.

Really cool experience. This is where the Meridian Line starts. I didn’t know this when getting in so I was shocked to learn this when I was in the museum. You can stand your feet across the line and take pictures. It also have a good view of the London skyline. Overall very fun and educational experience for me. Highly recommend.
This has been on my bucket list for a while, and I really enjoyed it.
Interesting museum, Prime Meridian, 1pm the dropping of the ball and epic views of London.
Only disappointment was the planetarium was closed to the public for school trips.

Nice afternoon spent at the Royal Observatory.
The clock exhibition was very interesting.
Some amazing views of London, managed to spot a hazy St Paul's Cathedral.
Quite a steep walk up to the Observatory, but plenty of benches to rest at if required.

Sono stato in questo negozio con la mia ragazza in occasione di una vacanza a Londra. Si tratta dello shop ufficiale del palazzo di Kensington dove è possibile acquistare oggetti legati alla corona inglese. Si possono trovare tazze, canovacci, bicchieri e moltissimi altri prodotti dedicati soprattutto a Carlo III. Vicino, sempre all'interno della struttura principale, è presente anche un punto ristoro. I prezzi sono in linea con gli stessi prodotti venduti in altri negozi ufficiali.

Tolles Museum über die Historie der Londoner Verkehrsbetriebe. Ideal als Schlechtwetterprogramm, anschliessend kann man den Souvenirshop besuchen. Einzeleintritt £ 24.-
Nice souvenir shop spanning over the ground floor and basement, with a good selection of items to choose from, and at a reasonable price point. I don't think you can get a magnet for £2 in local souvenir stores or convenience stores!
You don't need admission ticket to the abbey to visit their shop.
Staff were ok, gave me some patience and then rolled her eyes, but that's fine I probably won't visit the shop more than once anyway.

Nice place to visit, but don't be sad if you don't get to go inside the observatory as it's not that much of a wow moment place, in my opinion. I feel that I have seen different clocks and dials in other free museums. However, nothing beats the feeling knowing you are standing at the very 0° meridian and the place where great minds were put to work.
Sorroundings and the gardens when the flowers are bloomed are beautiful, as well as the view over Greenwich University and The City.

It’s hard to imagine the how hard it must’ve been long ago to figure out time and place, something we just take for granted today.
This place goes a long way to explaining how it all came about. The museum itself is very well done, with some incredible artifacts that are still in place. The park itself is beautiful, and has incredible views of the London skyline, particularly on a day that we went, which was a rare clear day. Highly recommended!

Ein Besuch lohnt sich, wenn man auf royale Souvenirs steht.
Při platbě kartou mi to kartu nepřijalo, použila jsem tedy jinou a ejhle, doma zaúčtované obě platby.
Jednalo se jen o par liber, tak to řešit víc nebudu, ale rozhodně obchod nedoporučuji!

The Royal Observatory was a wonderful experience. I've always been interested in having the correct time. Even as a child I would ring the local correct time number often, this is now a hands on experience at the observatory.
I enjoyed seeing the timeline of time pieces as well as the naval clocks that were a product of finding more accurate time pieces for navigation.
I found out some interesting bits about the actual meridian as well. I highly recommend a visit to anyone interested in time and a chance to stand at 0° Longitude.
I also visited Cutty Shark as part of package deal.

A very bad experience. I wanted to buy a postcard and a magnet, and the seller tried to tell me my banknote was an old one, while I got it in an ATM 2 days before... and when I explained that to him, he suddenly said he doesn't have the change, and that I need to buy stamps... 2 ways of talking, so not very honest, I don't recomand this shop for your memories, go somewhere else, it's gonna be way better !
Hier gibt es eine wirklich grosse Auswahl an Souvenirs jeglicher Art. Die Preise sind relativ hoch und die Qualität lässt definitiv noch Luft nach oben übrig.
Sicherlich ein okay'ish Geschäft für Mitbringsel als Tourist aber eine klare Empfehlung kann man auch aus den zahlreichen anderen eher schwachen Bewertung nicht herauslesen?.

The merch is nice but the man at the till was the rudest, haughtiest weirdo... Avoid. you pay $30 pounds for a pair of earrings and I asked for a small paper bag, I got an A3 one, give with disdain only after repeating myself...
Fun day out, immersed in history of London. Impressive collection of artifacts and exhibitions. Excellent customer service and background information.

Super billig aussehende Standard Souvenirs. Kleidung von eher geringer Qualität. Dafür aber ziemlich teuer. Die Mitarbeiten räumen die ganze Zeit herum, überall stehen Kartons mit Ware in den Gängen.

Ein süßes Museum, man hat sich hier wirklich Mühe gegeben. Ich finde jedoch, dass es mehr für Kinder ist, aber es ist trotzdem auch als Erwachsener schön.
Tolles Museum es gibt viel zu sehen. Die Mitarbeitenden waren sehr freundlich. Das einzige was verbessert werden könnte, man sollte den Preis auf eine Tageskarte anpassen, auch als Tourist gibt es nur die Möglichkeit für eine Jahreskarte. (24£)
Rude and racist. I visited on Oct 8th at 3:30 pm. The lady at the check out delivered service in a very rude manner. No greetings back, tapped on the pos machine to ask for payment, and the only time she said anything is shouting I need to see your ID for my signature. This kind of behavior should not be tolerated. And for the record, I’m Chinese and it’s hard not to notice the difference in her attitude. Well, you have my words that I will never come back and will let everyone around me beware of that. 讲真，英国真的让人失望。

Pleins de belles choses et de bonnes idées de cadeaux à un prix certes un peu élevé, mais j'aime dire que ça vient du palais de Kensington 😅.
Völlig confuses Konzept, wer gerne trotzdem in überfüllten Räumen ist ist hier dennoch richtig Ticket im Voraus kaufen bringt auch keine Zeitersparnis und die interessanten Events kosten nochmal extra.

Ich konnte mich noch an den tolle. Souvenir Shop erinnern wo ich leider nicht alles kaufen konnte und wollte unbedingt wieder da hin.

Schade. Dennoch sind wir nach etwas suchen fündig geworden.

Das London Transport Museum ist einen Besuch wert. Leider war keine der besonderen Führungen in den Untergrund verfügbar als wir dort waren, aber schon die Standard Ausstellung ist sehr gut und vermittelt den verdienten stolz auf das Londoner öffentliche Verkehrsnetz und seine Geschichte.
Kamen rein und haben eine Handy Hülle angefasst. Danach hat der Mitarbeiter und fast geboxt. Polizei wurde informiert. Diesen Laden unbedingt vermeiden!
Gift shop outside the Tower of London. We didn't go in as we didn't end up entering the Tower of London. It has quite nice views of the Tower. The items looked nice but I would guess they would also be a bit pricey.
Idéal entre 2 averses pour réviser son vocabulaire des différents noms d animaux et admirer la salle de peinture des peintres français par exemple. Avec comme toujours le café au fond du musée et des banquettes moelleuses.

Dieses wirklich empfehlenswerte Museum zeigt die spannende Entwicklung des London Transport von den Anfängen bis zur Jetztzeit. Insbesondere die Geschichte der London Underground von den Dampfzügen Ende des 19. Jahrhunderts bis heute, die anschauliche Darstellung des Baus der ersten Tunnel unter der City, die Konstruktion der ersten Escalator, sehr sehenswert. Auch ganz toll für Kinder, viele Dinge zum Ausprobieren, U-Bahn Simulator, Spielbereiche und ganz viel mehr. Wenn man alles intensiv erleben möchte, sollte man schon einen Tag einplanen. Leider ist der Spaß für Erwachsene nicht ganz billig, dafür sind Kinder aber frei. Dennoch alles sehr angemessen, denn hier wird wirklich etwas gezeigt, ganz weit weg von verstaubt. Sehr empfehlenswert!

Die Geschichte von London in Sachen Transport ist gut dargestellt. Alte Busse, Lokomotiven und Underground-wagen kann man bewundern und besteigen. Infos zur Erstellung von U-Bahn-tunnel und Rolltreppen aus Holz sind spannend gemacht. Natürlich ist der Eintritt ganz schön happig, aber meiner Meinung lohnt es sich. Wer auf alte Fahrzeuge mag, auf jeden Fall. Gut zu finden in der Gegend um den Covent Garden. 🤩

Es reicht nicht, dass alle Souvenir Artikel dort die billigste Qualität haben. Nein beim abkassieren wird auch die ganze Zeit noch telefoniert. Generell das Personal oder die Inhaber sehen sehr zwielichtig aus.
