Tiny place with lots of character - you can sit in the red booths for more privacy.
The food is delicious and the staff were very kind.
There is a very good deal for 2 or 3 course menu, so we could try different dishes.

We went there in the afternoon so it was only us, but they do serve bigger parties so it would be better to make a reservation just in case, as the place is small.
Met up with friends and had a really lovely meal. The Steak and Ale pie was delicious came with chunky chips and fresh veg broccoli, swede and peas. Highly recommend. ( We ate at the other pub in the village the night before and The Boat Inn was far superior 👏 highly recommend) Thankyou for our lovely meal

The lovely lady working here went across the road just to accomodate me and get gluten free bread. Thank you so much.
Loved it had been looking for this place for the last 5yrs We didn't stop for food on this occasion as we had a little one who was getting tired. But will be back as the food looked and smelt delicious. Very friendly staff lovely atmosphere. 🙂🙃👌👍

This was our first visit here after many trips to London. Great service and the food was amazing, ribeye steak cooked perfect medium rare, my son loved his brevett steak too. We would definitely recommend a visit to this restaurant 🙂
Was my second time here. First time was around 4-5 years ago. That visit was very good. And now (May 24)back again on a narrowboat and we had to visit them 😀. Service is still very good and friendly. Also the food is still very good.

For the boaters: they offer grocery service, not a big list, but all things you can use daily. Check their website for what they can get you. There is no shop in the neighbourhood
All I can say is amazing me and boyfriend come here regularly and that is purely because it's such amazing food. I love cooking myself and when you go to restaurant that is so fantastic where food the ambience is just perfect. Really feel like you are in France. Today had steak tartare beautiful. Staff are so welcoming which just adds to amazing experience. My favourite restaurant in London
Lovely Scottish breakfast but missing the square sausage 😢
Bleeding Heart Bistrot hosted our private evening in one of their amazing, unique dining rooms and it was an absolutely wonderful experience for our group of 16.

The service from the team in the organisation of the event was excellent and efficient. On the night the venue, service, ambience, food and wine were all outstanding, we had an unforgettable time.

Thank you Bleeding Heart, we will be back!
Boycotting from Costa, Starbucks etc cuz of Palestine. Tried this coffee shop and absolutely loved the coffee. Keep up the good taste

It’s quite unique and posh in the area that you can’t order from the bar and have to be seated. Nothing wrong with that, just be welcoming. Not everyone is a lover bird 🤪🧡🧡 small, but cute place. In Farringdon is a bit much to have a table service.
Direkte Bushaltestelle vor dem Café, Bus 34.
Ab 7 Uhr täglich geöffnet.
Super netter Service.
Tolle Frühstücksauswahl
Sehr gut gegessen und getrunken. Preis Leistung perfekt.
Had a lovely lunch with my Gran at the bistro this week. I was so grateful to staff who came straight over to the door and helped me to get my Gran a seat whilst I moved my car. (My Gran has limited mobility). Lunch was lovely and my Gran loved the tea! Will definitely be back!

A hidden gem, just a short walk from Haymarket Station. I had the traditional breakfast, fantastic for only £8! They don't charge service, so remember to leave a tip!
The private dining area under the bistro in the cellar (!) was ours for the evening as we celebrated a special meal with 15 of our closest friends. We had already preselected our meal and wined from a wonderful choice from the Bleeding Heart menu. The evening was organised beautifully. Table plan, name places with our choices printed on, beautifully laid table, superb service in this wonderful intimate and private venue. Would highly recommend.
I had the most delightful experience dining at Le Mercury! The ambiance was charming and cosy, the food was absolutely delicious and the staff were incredibly helpful and attentive throughout the meal. I left feeling completely satisfied and looking for my next visit! 😘
Had a lovely brunch with my family on Good Friday. The twins were given colouring books and pencils to amuse themselves with, a genius move, and we were all made very welcome!
The staff couldn't have been more accommodating. Delicious food, lovely coffee and the cakes look fantastic (we were too full to eat any more!)
You can also pick up Company sour dough bread there (order in advance if you want a lovely poppy seed loaf) on Fridays. We left with two!
We absolutely loved our experience at The Bleeding Heart. The environment was beautiful, our servers were wonderful, and the food was incredibly delicious. We both ate so well and every dish was better than the last. The wine was fantastic. I can't say enough wonderful things about The Bleeding Heart. The next time we are in London we will be happily returning!

Loved the decoration and vibes of the place. The food was good and the service. The table we got wasn't the best because it was near the door and it was a bit cool but for the rest everything was great. They offer vegan and vegetarian options and one vegan dessert.
We popped in for a quick bite. Nothing special. Fresh food. Service, many young people. My eggs were actually quite tasty. Partner wasn’t complaining about his food either. Good experience overall.

Had nice dinner with friend tonight. I would recommend frog legs, one of my favorite French dishes. The cheese is also good, and dessert 🌟
A great local cafe with super menu. We ordered from the breakfast menu at lunch time. Jackie who served us was so friendly and welcoming and although it was very busy she found time for a blether. It has a relaxed and friendly buzz which is a great addition to the local community.
Well worth a visit.
Canteen quality food, dried out from being kept warm. Priced like it was going to be far better. Seemed like it was setup just to exploit tourists, assuming they wouldn't be back anyway. Good service, but definitely wouldn't return.
Spotless and welcoming. Food was excellent and the man running the cafe was a true gentleman, friendly and approachable. Will definitely visit again and highly recommend.
A favourite haunt from back in the day. Came back recently for lunch and glad to say it's still as it was. Fabulous food and drink. Wonderfully attentive staff and generally a nice cosy place tucked away just off the beaten track. Long may it continue!

This restaurant feels like a little slice of Paris in the heart of London. Great food, wine, and service with a local vibe. You can tell many of the clientele are regulars, which is a testament to this establishment.
We came here on Mother’s Day. It is recommended to book a table in advance. It got really busy on a Sunday. There are two floors of the place.

It was extremely crowded, and we were placed next to stair, and I accidentally hit my head on it. I serious got concerned with their health and safety issues.

After asking a few times, we were finally changed to another table.

The lunch deal was really good. We aded extra money to have the steak. The meat was beautifully done per our request. I really enjoyed the chicken, liver pate and the calamari as appetiser.

The house wine was really good as well, so I really recommended this place for what you get in this location.

We spent £85 for two people and left with a happy stomach.
Lovely wee hidden gem 💎 staff are very friendly (to both me and my dog.. yes dogs very welcome!), nice decor, and although only had coffee and cake to take away so far, the meals that passed me looked very tasty and the coffee and cake was great. Also very reasonably priced. Ps told when in they're open late at weekends and it's BYOB too 👍 will defo visit for a meal soon!
I take ( A Friendly Face AFF) group most weeks and the owner and staff are always happy to help you with anything and such nice people. We love going and would recommend to anyone. One of our favourite places to eat with home cooked food and fresh cut chips my personal favourite Stephen..

Absolute Empfehlung!

Cozy with a romantic ambiance, the food and service was great. Orchids and candlelight everywhere, can't wait to go back. It will definitely be soon.
Fast service. Friendly staff. Food 10/10 best in area. Will 100% be returning
Sehr gutes Frühstück, schneller und aufmerksamer Service. Wartezeit von Bestellung bis zum Essen: weniger als 5 Minuten.
Einfach alles perfekt! Herzlichen Dank!
This was an incredible restaurant. The food was excellent, even better than places that boast gourmet menus, and the prices were very reasonable. The staff was friendly, helpful and accommodating. The atmosphere was absolutely lovely, with candle-lit tables and good music. My entire family had a great time and I’ll definitely come again! It’s a hidden gem.

Fortifying brunch options with lots of flavour. Great wat to start the weekend.
Gran descubrimiento cerca del hotel. Muy buenos desayunos con una gran cantidad de dulces caseros para elegir. Los trabajadores son muy amables y atentos.

Delicious food and attentive service at a fantastic price! The ambiance was lovely and quaint, and added to whole experience.
The sweetest wee cafe I've ever been to. The staff were incredible, the atmosphere, so cozy, and the scones and jam were divine!! Can't recommend enough

I book a table for my husband and my child in valentines. The welcome was good. The people who work there are so kind and they treat really nice my little girl. The good was delicious, you can feel in France. Every dish was absolutely full of flavours and perfect. NO MISTAKES IN THE FOOD! For sure we I'll come back again.
I really didn't want to put this place on the map for food, it's an absolute gem on Dean Street.

The food is amazing, the service is 2nd to none.

I booked the French restaurant however when we arrived it turned out I booked the wrong one, but lucky enough turned out to be a restaurant I should have had in my life years ago.

The History of this restaurant goes back 30+ year's, they really do know exactly what and how to cook.

If you miss this restaurant you will be disappointed for sure.

The value for money is superb. I highly recommend.

French Onion Soup, cooked exactly how it should be.

The Duck was cooked perfectly, the homemade sauce is mouth watering.

Just popped in with my wife as we were out for a drive. We were greeted by a very nice young man behind the bar, very polite, nice and welcoming, and no fuss. I had two pints of San Miguel, they were lovely pints, with a nice head all the way to the bottom of the glass. Definitely coming back in the summer.
BEST CEASAR SALAD EVER! 🤍
I always visit this place for their grilled chicken salad whenever I’m in Bath as it’s amazing! Service is great and atmosphere is great too!

I would recommend going earlier or later in the day as they get really busy during lunch time and it’s also quite loud in the restaurant as it’s a small space but definitely not one to miss!

Also, remember to bring cash for tipping as it’s not included in the bill and they can’t add it to the card machine!

Excellent food and very attentive service. Most of our party got either the rib-eye or the duck confit, both of which were very well-executed. We dined on a Monday evening and the restaurant was pretty quiet, but we still enjoyed the atmosphere. Profiteroles rounded off the meal. All in all, a very lovely dinner and we would visit again.

Firstly whilst I am giving 4 stars as average rating, I highly recommend this place for the value for money. Where do you find these days a place where the starter is less than £5, and main course under £14, and you get full and classic French and done properly? The place is a bit quirky and not the most fanciest of the place, but it definitely is a good place to eat good French. I’d say I’d preferred duck to be med rare and steak tartare to be more spicy, but otherwise the food was perfect.
Me and my work mate weren't impressed, 2 Square sausage was burnt same with work mates 😑. Price was pretty expensive. Nice and polite but im not buying ur manners ,Won't be back.
A lovely canal side restaurant/pub. Enjoyed by local boaters and visitors alike. Sausage and mash was delicious. Perfectly large but not wasteful portions. Proper homely belly warming food. And very reasonable on pricing for what you get in my opinion. Thank you Boat Inn! 🛥️

Awesome little place, staff were super friendly and welcoming. I had the veggie breakfast which was really tasty and good quality food. Pretty big plate for a reasonable price too, it also came with a glass of juice included (£8.50). Definitely worth a visit and your money!
The veggie Breakfast was nice, I asked them to swap out the white bread for brown which they accommodated at no extra cost. The pancakes were horrible, they tasted like cardboard, they smothered yogurt and blueberry compote to hide the hard texture and bland taste of the pancakes. The white chocolate mocha just tasted like coffee with a dash of chocolate powder, I tasted no white chocolate and the bitter coffee was too strong.
Great service, fabulous food. A bit quiet, but to be expected in the winter on a Monday night. Definitely recommend and would love to go back in the Summer ☀ 😁

I have been here a couple of times in the past and had found this place offered reasonably priced food. I don’t think anything stood out for me.
I’m my recent outing, the food also feel a bit lacklustre. It might be partly due to the fact that my friends organised to have our Christmas meal here and we chose from the Christmas menu - which wasn’t particularly French.
The crab starter was decent, but I was disappointed with the cheese plate.
Great business meeting.

Breakfast, lunch and a drink in front of the open fire 🤗

Friendly team, great quality.
The food was delicious!! As most do , I googled where the nearest place was to get breakfast, and The kingsmead kitchen came up.

Looking at the menu , me and my partner both agreed this is the place to try.

Wasn't disappointed by the food or tea.
We had a lovely lunch here after a morning of shopping. We pre-booked and we’re really impressed with the speed of service, atmosphere and the food itself. If you are hard of hearing you may find this quite a loud venue, but it’s great fun.

Called in today for a bite to eat and was greeted and served by Ali and Craig who go the extra mile to make you feel very welcome. The menu has plenty of different options to choose from (all freshly cooked on the premises) so we were a little spoilt for choice of what to have. Our food was on point, tasty and delicious. We've been nipping in here for the last few years and have never been disappointed so would highly recommend as visit.
