Very slow service.. the ques are long, they over charge you for postage’s.. not really friendly. Many times they lost my parcel when sending it they’re not really reliable unfortunately..

I have to praise the staff today and especially Binny for being so helpful. My driving license had expired and although I had to book an appointment to renew it she used an empty slot they had to help me . She didn’t have to do that so I am really grateful.

Staff are always very helpful and charge the fair rate on postage which is more than you can say about other locals branches such as Ladywell & Catford where they seem to pluck the price out of thin air.

I wanted to send a letter, but the person at the counter was having a conversation, which was 10 minutes long. They were talking about a leak in someone's house. There was a massive queue

Bennette at the travel money counter is super helpful!!! She helps a lot with my parcel sending. And really help of solving my problems. That makes the process really smooth. Really lovely and sweet! Great experience.

Friendly and lovely staff. Best and reliable products at reasonable prices. Would suggest this as the best option for South Indian groceries store.

Went there to deposit cash and the way that guy was talking does he even understand English and on top of that very very rudely behaved. Very unprofessional and they don't even know what they are doing. There was so long queue there and short of staff and staff is changing everytime I go there. Won't be going back to this post office ever again.i better go to another post office or Bank

Avoid this post office at all cost if you can. Extremely rude staff, especially the younger guy who works there. Not only did he refused to help, but he’s also very dismissive and defensive.

If your parcel were to have any importance to you, I wouldn’t trust these guys with it.

Not even deserving of 1 star - absolutely incompetent people working there that do not want to help you and are also rude - IMPOSSIBLE TO RECEIVE YOUR PACKAGE! You would receive an email saying its arrived for collection and they will tell u to leave as its not there!!!!! Royal mail and this post office are absolute travesty just close off the whole company and let other more competent companies deliver PEOPLES PACKAGES TO THEM

I've been in here twice in the last few months. Both times the place is untidy with parcels and boxes all over the counter and on the floor in the public area.
Today was the best experience though, because I said I wanted to post a letter but needed a stamp. Told to wait until the "post office man" comes. I duly waited. And waited. After about 10 minutes I got fed up and walked out. What's more, they didn't even try to stop me - they just carried on having their little chat. Appalling service.
My suggestion - go to the nearby post office in Toft - served immediately, no fuss.

Appalling queues - staff catching up on admin while queue just gets longer and longer. Avoid unless you’d like to stand around for hours for no reason

It was affordable rice that i bought from this store. Also the staff is nice and accommodating specially Kevin.

Always very welcoming. great staff, and helpful. Always referred to as 'Auntie', which in many cultures is a mark of respect. They have the best quality mutton in Croydon. My favourite shop in the town.

This is the worst post office I have ever been to. I stayed in the queue today as I was not very sure what posting option is best for me and I hoped the lady at the desk would be able to help me. She made me feel like I was stupid because it was my first time using their self-service kiosks which are not very straight-forward to use anyway with no instructions. She also pointed me to the standard service because she told me you cannot sent a letter tracked but without signature, which is actually one of the options on their website. So, they are not even able to support you with the services they offer. I would recommend saving some time and your good mood by staying at home and ordering a (FREE) collection with label delivered to your door from the Royal Mail website.

DO NOT USE THIS POST OFFICE

They are scamming people on a daily basis by making them pay again for services they pre-paid for online. They also will change the value / size of our parcels which makes you pay a premium.

They also tried to scam an old man who wanted to change £100 in Euros, they gave him 75 Euros back!

They are aggressive and rude. Please report this branch to the post office ASAP as they are a harm to the local community and profiting off vulnerable customers.

Read the other one star views that have been posted - all the five star reviews are from 5+ years ago or from the staff themselves.

Do not post parcels here, they over charge you massively! I had an extremely poor experience. I ended up having to show the staff assistant the post office official website with their costs on as they refused to tell me their standard costs in store.

I then queried the cost of my package and they then claimed the post office postage pricing was different online compared to in store - this is not true.

In the end I received a refund as I walked them through the online post office postage pricing - to show they were significantly overcharging me.

They tried to charge me £7 more than the cost should have been. They did this to multiple people in the queue - many of which left and refused to pay these extortionate prices.

Disgraceful service, lazy workers, I took a permission from my job to leave early to arrive here on time and collect my paracel but they shut everything down at 17.27 and told me I was not allowed in, when I asked for a supervisor to issue a formal complaint a dude who clearly hated is job came and told me he was gonna come back with a leaflet, but never showed up and the whsmith cashier closed the door. Lazy and unprofessional, especially since they were paid by their company until 17.30 to stay there and serve the customers. I will escalate this as much as possible to make sure someone will pay the price.

Incompetent staff member doesn't even know how to handle 2 parcels. The tall woman who has been working there for years but wasted 1.5 hours of my time in total in 2 days with her incompetence. She is always passive-aggresive, borderline rude. Acting like it's always your fault. Finally when she realised it was her fault all along, she didn't even bother with a simple apology. Terrible person to deal with.

I'm not the one that normally leaves bad reviews but in this instance, I feel I have to.
I went in to exchange some euros (not the first time). There was only one person behind the counter and a massive queue. There was another lady roaming and not doing much in my opinion, who went around asking people in the queue about the reason of their visit. I mentioned her that I wanted to exchange some euros and put them in my account, to which she replied that the person working in the exchange rate office wasn't there at the time and she wasn't sure the person behind the counter will be able to do it (bear in mind this was close to midday and there's stickers all over the counters offering currency exchange). The aforementioned lady didn't bother to ask the other lady behind the counter if she would be able to proceed.
After waiting for a while, my turn came and the lady at the counter told me that nor her or her colleague would be able to do so and sent me to the currency exchange office next to M&S...I explained her that I had done this before at the exact same counter where I was standing. She proceed to tell me this again as if I didn't understand it the first time.
In my experience, very poor customer service (they shouldn't send customers away to other business). The shortage of staff seems to be recurring so, perhaps management/owners should consider to employ more people. Also, if a service is offered, ALL staff should be trained to carry out such thing, regardless of who is on shift!.

If it were up to me, I would give then -10 in customer service. The customer service is very bad. I really don't know why they are still in their positions, you can see that they are bored and tired.

Friendly service all the bad eggs don’t work there anymore… can be an easy to park but this is busy street.

I am on the job with amazon, and the staff making me wait in a queue thats out off the door. All i need is drop the parcels, I am on time limit not here for breakfast.. rude staff also!!!! Also will report it to Amazon....

I post mail at least once or twice a week and find the lovely wife and husband team at this location unfailingly pleasant and helpful. You can save yourself a lot of grief in waiting time and misery (especially when compared to the abysmal branch at the Lewisham shopping mall 😱) by visiting this location. 🌞

Would only give me the most expensive options for posting a parcel. Then began an argument with me blaming me. Refused transaction. Very rude. Would not recommend . Will never use again. My transaction completed easily at another office. I have never been spoken to like that in a shop before. Most upsetting and for my elderly mother with me.
