Highly unprofessional and misbehaved staff. They literally fight on just £5 with the customer infront of other customers. The food is too salty. It is advisable for high BP patients not to purchase any food from here.
Unfortunately the chicken wings were not cooked fully, pink and watery in the middle 😕. Just spend 1 min longer to cook the food properly.

Food is fresh and tasty, enjoyable environment, everyone was cheerful and friendly. This my go to shop during work days from now on. If you are in the area I would highly recommend it

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Chilli Flames and tried their burgers, rice, fries and wraps, and I must say, it was a delightful experience. We were in a big group of 17 friends and the service was outclass.The burgers were juicy and flavorful, with fresh toppings that added the perfect crunch and zest to each bite. Similarly, the wraps were generously filled with delicious ingredients and wrapped in warm tortillas. Beyond the delicious food, the service was exceptional, with friendly staff ensuring a pleasant dining atmosphere. Overall, I highly recommend for its delicious burgers and wraps, making it a must-visit spot for anyone craving a satisfying and flavorful meal.

The staff was so friendly and professional, the owner was so kind and helpful person, who helped me to pick the best food, as i am a very confused person in selecting the food. The quality of food was 5/5 and i must suggest you all to visit least once because second time the taste of food will drag you itself. :)
This place need urgent attention from the owner , The burger which I ordered was terrible didn’t taste as anything the chicken was over cooked and very hard around the sides and the spicy sauce was just terribly done , chips were very thin I won't recommend, customer service needs to be reviewed as the counter members aren't really focusing on gaining more customers . I wouldn't recommend for a meal .
Please do not delete this review. The unbelievably post-modern 1980 front sign had me believing this place had won NUEROUS michelin stars and top toots of the week. So when I ordered my wrap with garlic mayo i didn’t expect the secret ingredient to be WINNETS. WINNETS in my chicken wrap. A chicken wrap with garlic mayo and winnets. it was gorgeous but unnerving; you have forever changed my view on the opulence of fine dining. Thank you Krunchy Fried Chicken.
Like KFC then you will love Dixys. Bigger pieces of chicken which are moist and full of flavour. Chips are seasoned too so no need for salt and vinegar. Only problem with Dixys I find is that they sell portions of chicken and chips as there value boxes. No options for the boxes or buckets without chips Apart from that I would highly recommend over KFC any day. Also have pizza options but not tried them yet. Can also eat in but not many seats.

I dont suggest this place at all although the prices are very cheap but then the food is not even upto standard the staff is really unprofessional too busy chatting to other colleagues and completely forgot what i ordered and when i received my food everything was not as i asked and taste is not even all that frozen chicken strips and everything was really bad
the chicken burger was filling and delicious, the price was worth the food as i got 3.99 for a chicken burger fries and a drink 10/10 food
Asked for a combo meal and was told it was unavailable because they closed soon, even asked if it was available without one of the burgers and was told no. Refused to serve us. They were open for another two hours but couldn’t cook one more chicken burger. Staff were dirty rude and unclean.
this place is absolutely disgusting!!! Not even okay to eat when you are drunk it’s that horrendous, the chicken is slimy the men are so rude and I stg I took one look at it and it was thrown in the bin because of how much of a disgrace of a place it is, from the chicken down to the staff this place is not the place to go, the staff are so rude and the food is absolutely awful. Wouldn’t even call it chicken it was that bad.

Mate. The chips were good but what the hell were those spicy wings. Soggy tasteless and just straight unappealing, felt like I was on the Kavos strip forcing myself to eat whatever was in front of me in order to line my stomach. Won’t be back, maybe just for chips as they’re actually impossible to screw up

This chippy is excellent, the staff are so kind and friendly. The food is lovely, cooked well and tasty. We've been using this chippy for a good few months now. It deserves to be used more by the local community of Lakenham/Tuckswood and surrounding areas.
Today’s meal was a disappointment. Something has changed. The whole chicken lemon and herb flavour looked uncooked and it didn’t taste nice even after putting the chicken in air fryer for 5 minutes. The cheeseburger was swimming in ketchup which I did not request.

I placed an order for eat in and take out. The lady serving me didn’t smile once. She was quite rude and rolling her eyes. I ordered a flamed original pitta for myself and some food for my siblings. in the description on the menu it said that it has salad and perinase and the picture looked like it would have fresh salad. However, I got given a pitta bread full of coleslaw which I hate, because it makes me feel sick and I wasn’t told beforehand . The whole pitta bread was basically coleslaw and a bit of chicken that’s it, no perinase or salad as mentioned and shown in the picture. I am very disappointed with the customer service by the lady and then on top of that the food given.
Fish was perfect, chips were what I would say old fashioned and very tasty, only issue I had was there where way to many chips, maybe half of a portion would have been better, a very delicious meal and price was good 👍
Mediocre chicken and they only do peri peri on the chips? What CHICKEN shop doesn't do peri peri powder for chicken?!

Absolutely terrible. Ordered from there last night. Cashier tried to overcharge me despite the clear price on the wall. Chips were soggy and flavourless. Chicken was soggy and definitely not “crunchy”. Chill sauce looked like play dough. Do not go here.

Used to live next to this chippy with my boyfriend and housemate but I had to move home yesterday and i'm sad this is no longer on my doorstep!

Ordered via delivery app. I decided to try the whole grilled chicken with choice of flavour fiery hot. It wasn’t hot at all but a little sweet. However I won’t make an issue of this as it was delicious and well cooked.
The price for a whole chicken on the app is listed as £16.95 and if they ever do charge this price then it’s a total rip off as the chicken was very small (see photo below showing the breast part). However they had a promotion on and I paid £10.19. My gut instinct tells me that £10.19 is the actual price and they just pretend on the app it’s £16.95 as a promotional gimmick.
The dips I ordered with it are very salty and I would urge them to ease up on this.
Final verdict: 4 stars out of 5 if permanent price is £10.19. 2 stars out of 5 if £16.95 is ever charged (you would have to put a gun to my head to pay this much for such a tiny chicken). 3 stars given as an average of these two possibilities.

Best chicken shop in london hands down. Fair prices as well. Such a shame they don't have delivery service :(
Nice flavours good cooking they do have some good lunchtime special offers and bundle deals so look around at the deals before you order.

I remember eating from this place several years ago, I ordered three chicken wings and chips, I was eating the food with no problem that's when on my second wing, I found a black line stringing across my chicken wing, at first, I thought it was just some burned bit of the wing until I took a closer look, the satanic black line actually was sticking out of the wing, I grabbed the hellish black line and pulled it out of the wing, the hellish black line was actually a big fat hair from one of the people that work here.
Although this happened years ago - go at your own risk.
I never went to this place again. Please do not go here unless you want big fat 'lines' from the deepest depth of hell to be in your food.

The periperi grilled chicken was amazing, owners sorted me out after I made an ordering mistake too using the Didsbury and Withington Eats app, worth going back again!
Amazing food first time here the burger and fries was very tasty and you get a really good portion.

Terrible service . The driver got lost 15 times after giving him very clear, precise instructions . He then had the cheek to say he was not coming and he was staying put! He then put the phone down on me and miraculously he arrived 10 minutes later , even though he was 2 minutes down the road. The food was pretty bad and the chicken donner had gristle and something similar to bone in it . If you want a late , cold , poor takeaway , then this is the place for you .
Ordered from here a few times but the food just isn't fresh nor is it cheap. I'd recommend Mazaa or Roosters Spot. Both of those take aways have better consistent food quality.
Great food at a decent price. The grilled chicken is a favourite as you get it how you want. Chicken that goes away quickly and sells out. Their BBQ wings are also fantastic and succulent, the sauce goes great with chips and chicken alike. Definitely a place to visit for some fast food.
