Probably the most tasteless chinese food I ever eaten. Don't go there.
Though the food was enjoyable, it was a bit pricey and just ordinary, especially since several menu items were unavailable during our 9 pm visit. The service was a major highlight—attentive and friendly, greatly enhancing our dining experience. Be sure to try the Chocolate Caviar!
Pink in the middle chicken skewers, black chicken in chicken fried rice and chow mein had no flavour. Nicest bit was the free prawn crackers...won't be going here again.
Great food , there Singapore chow mien is the best I’ve eaten
One of my all time favourite places in Edinburgh, extremely authentic Chinese food. My go-to are the beef egg pancake and the Chinese burger. Delicious!
Best Chinese takeaway I've had in a long time and is definitely going to become my go to place! everything is so nice and just how I'd want it, portion sizes are spot on always some leftovers which is what you want.
Can tell everything is cooked properly and with pride.

It was our anniversary, so went for the 'Plum' set menu. That was £90 per person. There was very good portion sizes for evethying that came in our set menu, which i was surprised as had expected smaller portion.
Food is expensive, the most we have paid anywhere, if we were to go again might go for al acarte option but that might come to the same cost.

Just had a wonderful dinner at Street of Beijing. My friend and I are visiting for the weekend and found this place via a Google search. Food was very tasty and good-sized portions. The staff were all lovely and accommodating. I love the dish 'Zha leung' (maybe spelt incorrectly), which wasn't on the menu. However, this was made for us! Thoroughly enjoyable! Many thanks 😊
DONT ORDER FROM HERE staff are so rude and delivery drivers are useless and dont know where there going. My order came almost an hour late and the food was poor qualitg and cold. waste of money
和朋友一起来吃的，菜品味道不错，服务很好，份量足，性价比没的说！这家还可以用饭团外卖点外卖，很方便。
在这里吃到煎饼果子真的是太满足了！必点必点必点牛肉煎饼果子，有点改良但是已经满足我这个煎饼脑袋啦！

We went there (3 people) on a monday night for dinner. Went in and it looked pretty cozy, the girl attending us was also very nice, as was the other staff present. We ordered and the food came relatively quickly, with rice. The quality itself was good, solid sweet-sour sauce and well-cooked chicken, the rice was good too. Also the price was very good for a filling dinner in central Edinburgh. All in all i can't complain.

I was a regular customer, I told the woman I ordered something by accident online but I would still pay for it. She rudely told me I'm the only person with a problem with there app, when she doesn't know I'm currently going for MRI and neurology so I get mixed up some time. As I said I fully intended to pay, when I said to her " you don't care about your customers at all do you?" Her reply was a flat out "no"
We have always ordered from this place… tonight was a massive disappointment as they gave out a few wrong order and the salt and pepper chicken was absolutely rock hard. will not order again!

Had a lovely meal with my friends, we ordered a few meals to share and were satisfied with everything. I would mostly recommend trying some dessert, we had the coconut sponge! I loved the lamps, the setting is very friendly :))
Second time eating at hakkasan, first time was many years ago. Went for the weekend brunch set menu which wasn't given to us until we asked for it but is great value as it includes a bottle of champagne (between 2) and a cocktail each. The duck salad was very good. We ordered a la carte for our daughter and the seabass was delicious but at £60ish was quite pricey. The lighting was also very low so if you like it dark and atmospheric this will suit you, otherwise it's quite hard to read the multiple menus.
Ordered salt and chilli squid to take away. For £8.50 the portion was absolutely tiny and I can't tell whether it's fried squid of fried chicken, as it's very overcooked. The egg fried rice is fine and what I'd expect for the price. Girl on the desk was very pleasant.
I’ve had food from here before and it was great. I tried to do the right thing and order delivery directly from the restaurant. It’s now half an hour late, despite the driver having the food an hour ago according to the limited info on the ordering page. I live 10 minutes away. I’m hungry, annoyed and I want to go to bed soon. If it does turn up it’ll likely be cold. If you order from here use Just Eat or Deliveroo or something, they’re evil but at least they deliver the food.
Never disappoints. Food always good, and always ready on time. Have been coming here since 2012 and will keep coming back. Just as an aside, I gave five stars for atmosphere, but it's takeaway only, so not sure why it's even relevant... I did once walk in to see five armed police in there. I had mild panic until one of them said 'chicken chow mein, no onions'. That was quite atmospheric.
We find the food wonderfully delicious and have been ordering from them for years. However, their delivery is terrible, always late. If you do order, please order 3 hours in advance.
Do yourself a favour and order from somewhere else.

When I phoned the restaurant to asked where the order was I was fobbed off. The Thai green curry was absolutely flavourless - plain veg and chicken with some watery green flavourless sauce. The curry sauce had set because it was so cold. Very very disappointed by a place that we have ordered food from many times before. We won't be back!

這家餐館的食物菜品屬於清淡型的，不過油過鹹，贈送的煲湯沒有加鹽調味，需要自己調加鹹度。炒的一碗蛋炒飯非常鬆軟很可口。老闆態度和善，服務人員也親切。知道我們是台灣來的，還特地煮的特清淡的。
Ordered from this place tonight, normally order from hoho but was closed. Im very glad they was! The food from here is so much better everything was delicious! And only took 25 minutes to arrive, definitely my new place to get our Chinese takeaway!x
Amazing food every single time without fail. Always arrives hot and in good time, no faults whatsoever. Staff are friendly over the phone and at the point of delivery. You can't underestimate a great Chinese takeaway!

I am not sure why all the 5 star reviews seem to be highlighted here when the place has 3.5 stars total but what a bad experience. 3 tables in total in the restaurant the entire time I was there and it took 40 minutes for 4 nasty looking dumplings to come out. Then came chicken and cashew nuts that looked inedible and “egg fried rice” that looked just like white rice. When I questions that the woman told me they “forgot to add the color”? I paid for the dumplings and left, suggest you avoid this place. Nice atmosphere but awful food and service.
Absolutely the worst Chinese I've ever had my name is Scott and your food is disgusting you should be shut down and bamboo garden is the best choice 👌 my dog can make a better chow main looool
Arrived 20 minutes late but satisfied with service satay sauce needs a bit of work but will be ordering again at the moment I'd recommend having set meal A2 just to try out good price and not bad food for what you're paying for 👍

On 20th November2023, after the regular check at the hospital, my wife and I visited this restaurant for our lunch. We had served by another young lady. She was also very good. Very comfortable restaurant. The Mabo Tofu cuisine and Special Chinese pancake were very good taste. We enjoyed very much. Looking forward to visiting again soon. Thank you!

Had a particularly large order last night. Everything was fresh, hot, and of beautiful quality and they don't seem to use msg. Great value too. Highly recommended.
