It was an interesting place, and the plate was quite interesting too. There wasn't a lot of food I thought at first, but it was enough at a reasonable price. I will try for a chicken soup next time if I come again.
Customer service is good. Chicken soup is good too. Roast chicken is crispy but a little oily.

百済参鶏湯と土俗村参鶏湯を食べて、こちらの参鶏湯と比べると、こちらの参鶏湯の方が美味しいです！

参鶏湯は美味しいし。おひとり様でも構わない。店員も親切です。
韓国に行くと、必ず行くお店。店員の態度はあまり良い感じでないので、慣れてない人はちょっと引くかもしれない。参鶏湯の美味しいお店を食通に聞いたのが10年以上前。それ以来行くたびに食べてるが、他店と比べてもやはり美味しい。一緒に頼むフライドチキンは手が油まみれになるが、そこそこ美味しい。
もう少し脂分があったら日本人好みかなと思うが、これがこの店の味って事だな。

Yummy & tasty Samyetang, portion is big for 1 person. The location is good in the Myeongdong area.
I had gingseng chicken and rice. Price is tourist area price but still reasonable. It's a busy restaurant with a limited seating area. Eat and go.
Makgeolli (korean rice wine) is good!! 🫰

2 levels of seating so there should be seats available even if the ground floor looks busy. There’s only a few items on the menu which basically are ginseng chicken soup or fried chicken. Service is efficient and quick. The place is run by a few elderly ladies and they are good at what they do. Pricing is decent for the quality of food.
The ginseng chicken soup was comforting, flavourful and yummy. The chicken was tender. The fried chicken was average, tasted like the home cooked fried chicken, not the typical Korean fried chicken. Portion was huge. Free flow of pickled radish and kimchi.
