I'm so glad we came with a guide that was able to point out all the small things and also give a little background to Diego & Frida's life. It's super cool standing in a space where a renowned artist lived, worked and entertained friends. Frida's house was still under renovation so we could not go inside but I will gladly come back to do so.
Genial espacio donde se pueden apreciar obras y objetos personales de Diego Rivera, bastante interesante y la zona es muy bonita. Perfecto para un domingo relajado (es gratis ese día).
An amazing exhibit of pre-Hispanic pottery on display in museum designed by Diego Rivera. Some of his initial sketches of his favorite murals are also on display. On a clear day, the rooftop view of the city is amazing.

Muy agradable lugar, lastima que no lo recorrí todo por cuestiones del mal tiempo pero me pareció muy interesante, volveré para terminar de recorrerlo.
¡Increíble lugar! Este sitio posee pequeños parques, una fuente, una estación del metro y un centro de información turística. Aquí encontrarás de todo. Lo único malo es que tienes que cruzar dos semáforos para poder llegar hasta la Cátedral de Monterrey, además hallarás puestos de recuerditos, botanas, etc.
Amazing place to walk around and experience. This is essentially the Museum of Anthropology lite. The artifacts that Diego collected or plundered are amazing, floor after floor there are more and more artifacts and one area with a mix of his murals. The other amazing part of this experience is the presentation. Something's are behind glass though beautifully presented, others are out in the open to enjoy and experience as though they were naturally meant to be there. There are also beautiful mosaics on the ceilings of each room. In total the entire compound is a beautiful testament to pre Hispanic culture. Also the Saturday we visited there was a craft and food market that was amazing.

Recently, I had the pleasure of visiting Museo Anahuacalli in Mexico City.
It was an experience that left me captivated starting by the architecture and the mood of this unique museum. The ceilings on the ground floor and the upper floors are beautiful decorated with mosaics by Diego Rivera. The extensive collection of pre-Hispanic collection is impressive.
The immense big murals upstairs are beautiful, a journey that dealt with Mexican Society and history.
Don’t hesitate asking to the gentle people who work there, they know a lot about everything in the museum and they are very helpful.

It is a great place to meet Mediterranean cultures including Turkey and Egypt along with Asiatic cultures like Japanese, Chinese and Korean.

Instead of embracing the excitement of modern Mexican architecture, the church decided to build something that looks 800 years old. The acoustics are abominable, echoing and muddling the microphone.
This church was constructed to impress upon the observer that this land has been colonized and subjugated by unforgiving foreigners who refuse to acknowledge the existence of other peoples and religions.
The images of Jesus and Mary as blond haired, pale skinned figures further demonstrate that the brown locals will never reach the "purity" of their saviors.

2nd visit to CDMX and wanted to visit some of the sites we hadn't seen previously. This one looked interesting. Some good exhibits. I like how it flows from one building to the next to the next. A little small though. The last building was closed. We went through the whole thing in less than an hour. I think I was expecting something closer to the Field Museum in Chicago. It is a very scaled down version of that.

Fun beach, just a quick ferry ride. There are tons of vendors and are CONSTANTLY trying to sell you stuff. Restaurants along the beach where if you buy food they will let you sit in lounge chairs and shade. We didn't end up finding any really good food, unfortunately, even the fruit was disappointing there. Our kids loved it and it wasn't too busy so overall was a great experience.
Gran museo, súper interesante, excelente para aprender y conocer de las culturas del mundo ;) y como algunas de ellas influyeron en nuestro país, es bastante grande y tiene muchas representaciones, fotos, información, ropa, juguetes, vestimenta etc.

Deberías tener más vigilancia porque me tocó que una señora loca se pusiera a gritar cosas sobre los alemanes e indígenas mexicanos🤪 y me la encontré dos veces en lugares diferentes

What N amazing Musem, Very interactive and easily laid out!
My family and I drove down from Gilbert, Arizona, to watch the 2024 Eclipse. A very small crowd of friendly people also gathered here to see the eclipse. The park was clean and well-maintained. There are no bathrooms on-side, but there is a bathroom across the street that takes 4 Peso tokens.

It's a great exhibit about the origin of the cosmos and the evolución of life. If you're in México City do visit.

Tiene que visitar Roma y Grecia; las esculturas son increíbles. También está la sala de Turkia.

Es un lugar que como turista no debes perderte; cuenta con zonas dedicadas a los dinosaurios, varias letras de "Torreón", conoces religión, historia y además de ello tiene una vista completa de la ciudad y el teleférico.
Es un museo increíble puesto que es muy grande y tiene muchas salas. El edificio donde está construido está lleno de historia y es enorme ( no terminé de recorrerlo). La calle de moneda donde está el edificio está llena de museos así que si quieres aprovechar el día puedes recorrer dos o tres museos más adicionales al museo de las culturas del mundo.

Gran museo para aprender sobre algunas naciones. Tienen exposiciones y artículos que valen mucho la pena. Por lo regular es muy tranquilo y no hay tanta gente cada vez que vamos. Lo recomiendo mucho si quieres aprender en verdad de otros lugares!!! Los disfrutarás
I personally find this museum much more interesting and beautiful than the Frida Khalo museum. A very dark and moody structure which is absolutely gorgeous inside. One of the top 2 museums I’ve visited in CDMX so far.

In all transparency, I had thought I was going to see more of Diego Rivera's murals and while there are some, that's not what this place is about. What I imagine happened in the creation of this place is that Frida, like many wives, was like...you HAVE to find a place for all this stuff. And so, Diego constructed a home for his love of pre-Columbian artifacts. The architecture of the building is mesoAmerican in inspiration. Because it's built with volcanic stone, it feels like you're walking through a cave. Absolutely enjoyed the many artifacts through the entire building, the view on the roof, and exploring the cultural center, a short walk away filled with artisans, dancer, etc.
It's an interesting experience to go through this temple - you start off in dark rooms and corridors on the main floor to then light filled rooms as you ascend to the upper floors. Definitely worth a visit.

Das Museum befindet sich zur Zeit in Renovierung. Eventuell wird es im März oder April 2024 wieder eröffnet. Momentan ist nur sehr wenig zu sehen. Es lohnt sich nicht 45 Pesos dafür auszugeben.
Looks like a European cathedral, it's a stunning church both in the outside and inside .the place has virtual tours by scanning a qr code, I recommend you to visit if you are in town.
Esta isla la conocí en un tour que dan en bote y después te llevan a una playa de la Isla de la piedra, la verdad creo que vale la pena ir a visitarla debido que sis playa también esta muy linda.
Hermosa playa y el restaurante excelente la comida deliciosa y la barra libre tenía buenas opciones y la mesera muy educada

Un lugar muy bonito una playa muy extensa y en diciembre no hay olas altas está tranquilo el mar, hay varias actividades para pasarla bien, recomiendo el tur completo en el yate vale la pena me encantó Mazatlán.
Schöner Blick auf die Berge im Hintergrund, man kann sich dort auch Massieren lassen. Ansonsten hat man diese Sehenswürdigkeit schnell gesehen.
Excelente lugar para disfrutar de la playa y el sol, muy buenos lugares para comer, solo recuerden que si en un restauran tienen barra libre puede que los refrescos los dejan abiertos y se quedan sin gas y no saben igual, en cuanto a las bebidas alcohólicas todo bien.

Sehr schön, sonntags gratis, Staff sehr nett, gelegen in reichem und sicherem Stadtviertel. Zurzeit (November 2023) wird jedoch renoviert und nur das Casa de Juan O'Gorman (Fotos) ist der Öffentlichkeit zugänglich.
Una grata sorpresa esa plaza. Aunque es pequeña, se ve muy bien y bonita. Sirve como atracción, ya que vengo de fuera y nos llamó la atención visitarla, solo un detalle, pongan nombre de las pirámides para que las personas puedan identificarlas con las originales.

Me gustó el lugar, está bonito y limpio,ideal para sacar fotos bonitas.
Lass réplicas se ven bonitas y bien hechas, solo que les falta mantenimiento pues algunas ya están algo rotas y hasta con maderas. Supongo que por el clima me tocó el pasto y árboles bastante secos. La parte de los murales tenían candado por lo que no se puede pasar y las fuentes estaban todas apagadas

Von Fried Kahlo kann man halten was man will. In das Museum sollte man vllt trotzdem gehen.
Die Macroplaza ist der schönste Teil von Monterrey. Gegenüber befindet sich eine wunderschöne Cathedral und eine Einkaufsstraße wo man Souvenirs kaufen kann. Das Top Highlight sind aber die Berge ringsherum.

Abgesehen vom historischen Wert, es ist weder spektakulär noch sehr erleuchtend im Bezug auf die ruhmreichen ehemaligen Bewohner
Riesenkonzertsaal mit guter Akkustik. Bestens durchorganisiert. Getränke sind überteuert
