small airport, provides both international and domestic flights. clean and tidy with sufficient food and drinks vendor to cater for travelers. ample parking lots with public buses and cars available. sufficient seats at waiting area.
Never had problem with 100ml hairspray my whole life, but got confiscated upon custom clearance prior to boarding (international departure), reason given is that it is flammable. Although I have explained that the hair spray is flammable class 1 and instruction displayed in airport clearly says only flammable class 2 and 3 is not allowed, the officer in photo still does not bother. Please educate your staffs to fully understand the rules/ instruction displayed before you enforce it.
I'm amazed and astonished on how big KL airport is being my first time here and with the amount of restaurants to retail shops and even has a jaya grocer over here. The amount of local and branded restaurants are even more than in a mall.
Will definitely not have to dine elsewhere before coming to airport in future.

Pretty great airport. There was construction going on when I visited, but was easy to get around. All of the signage was very clear and will lead you to where you have to be. The staff were also very hospitable. Lots of stores selling a variety of things and not a bad place to have a layover at.
If you ever find yourself in the southernmost part of Malaysia - Senai airport in Johor Bahru is there to get you places. A small airport with both domestic and international flights. Security is quick even though there are only two machines/lines. You have to take everything metal out of your luggage - including coins and keys. The departure area lacks enough seating but only when it's crowded. Other times it is not as busy. There are no electronic boards so make sure you note your gate at check in and listen to the announcements. Quite a few shops to cater to whatever your traveler needs are - massage, beauty care etc. Burger King and KFC to the rescue for the hungry travelers.
The bathrooms are clean and well maintained. There is an attendant that keeps them that way (huge plus in my book!).

All good and very well maintenance airport and facility. if asked about suggestion, I suggest to add Premium Flex counter for AirAsia flight passenger. Quite useless to buy the Premium Flex but still queue the same lane as others.
Sempat bingung dibgian transmigrasi di senai dan alhamdulillah ada petugas yang langsung sigap mengarahkan warga asing ke transmigrasi asing. Mantap

The airport is pleasant, big, lots of food tenants and fashion shops, comfortable and many people even stay there safely in the waiting room 😍👏from the airport it is also connected to the airport station to get to the city center or other transportation (bus). Don't forget to buy a SIM card to be able to communicate during your holiday in Malaysia
The airport has improved significantly compared to previous years, with better amenities and facilities and a more comfortable layout for international travelers. It would be great to have more dining options after checking in and even more choices for coffee places before departure. Arrival took longer than expected due to a high volume of travelers arriving simultaneously, which could be improved. However, the process for both arrival and departure was smooth.
One of the best airport that I've seen along with KLIA2. Apparently there are 2 terminals. This is just the first ones where most of the international planes will land. Quite a huge airport and very well maintained. It is best to check in early as some of the gates require a long walk. Some flights need to get into the bus provided by the airport to get to the gate. The check in process went smoothly for me.
One of the best airports in the world very clean and tidy and washrooms well maintained. Lot of food options to explore and resting places. They do have special prayers houses too. Hotels in Airport are usually very busy need prior booking. On time flights and the best thing is Malaysian hospitality, best in world. Very kind and humble people, super polite and generous to core.
This is a very simple and basic international airport. There are only a few shoplet and restaurant available in the building. Also dont have a lot of seat for the passengers to get rest. But at least the environment is clean and bright though.
Kalau nak rasa feeling layout airport yang lain, Senai adalah jawapan. Sebab Senai International airport bukan di bawah Malaysia Airport Holding Berhad.
So layout tak sama langsung dengan airport2 lain yang ada kat Malaysia ni. Banyak kemudahan yang disediakan di sini seperti tandas awam, surau, tempat menunggu dan banyak kedai-kedai yang beroperasi. Bas untuk ke JB sentral pun ada.
Cuma kalau nak stay back utk tunggu flight esok hari tu rasa macam tak selesa sikit la.
Agak penuh ketika musim2 perayaan jadi rancang perjalanan anda.
So layout tak sama langsung dengan airport2 lain yang ada kat Malaysia ni. Banyak kemudahan yang disediakan di sini seperti tandas awam, surau, tempat menunggu dan banyak kedai-kedai yang beroperasi. Bas untuk ke JB sentral pun ada.

The airport is hassle free and tidy and very functional.. frequent bus shuttle service takes you to the terminals… there are so many shops and food courts and delicious food everywhere

Huge airport at Terminal 1 with a unique architecture design that stands out. Departure and Arrival was smooth, although checking in might take a little time due to the crowd (depending on when you take your flight too). Overall it was a pleasant experience.
