I’m not someone who would generally give a bad review but a recent event at this spot made me have write this review. Absolutely disappointed and disheartened by the arrangement of this spot for euro cup. The bouncer/ guard at the entry point physically pushed my female friend out of the entry point ONLY because she had a milkshake/ smoothie in her bag. She agreed to finish it before entering and while she did so, the bouncer forcefully pushed her out of the area and denied her entry, even though she bought tickets for the match. Absolutely disappointed by this behavior as this spot usually tops my list of places for summer . Seems like the guy called himself the head of security. Hope we have more sane guards, denying entry for all the right reasons and not physically pushing women around.

A very bad experience, extremely crowded. Profit was the main priority.

There are many other better places at Westerpark to watch the game, entrance free & open to all people around it; where you won't feel cramped or encounter unjust and aggressive behavior. See Bar Kantoor, Troost, Radio Radio, and many more.

A security guard bullied our friend, abusing his power and instructing everyone else from the security team not to let her in despite she had purchased a ticket.

She was pushed by him multiple times while standing in front of the 'event gates' trying to finish a protein shake while watching the game (as instructed at the entrance, as it was not allowed to be in her bag), for which she protested.

His words 'I am head of security and I do what I want, you will not get in because I say so and did not obey what I told you '

As confirmed by the police, this space outside is public, and our friend will be taking further actions against the organization.

It was an okay experience until I was dumb enough to order the takoyaki. 12,50 for 3 is more than 4 times the price you pay in Japan but that wasn’t the worst offender. These were dense dough balls with some minced octopus paste mixed in. A Japanese person would commit seppuku for having somebody eat this. Other than this disappointment it’s okay priced for Amsterdam in terms of drinks. Bit of a boring selection but these people don’t cater to that. They are in a park and have a terrace everything else is just a bonus.

Great spot, ok food, moderate service. One of the better places to be at good weather, but understaffed for the capacity on those days.

The food was delicious, but there were some tough pieces of meat that were not cooked well (possibly due to their large size). The restaurant is narrow and the music is loud...but they offer delicious tea for free after the meal...the prices are a bit fo high for 2 persons.

A very satisfying experience for charcoal grill! Meat was well marinated, fresh, and cook with just the right amount of time.
Bread and side salad are also nice.
The grill does not come with (heavy) dipping sauce, you can enjoy the original flavor of the meat to the most.

great! really tasty. enjoyed the salad with pomegranate dressing. tasty cig kufte. mainly lamb meat one chicken skewer all really good. coming back on Thursday for lamb liver. thank you very much

Solider Döner. Vielleicht etwas teuer aber man bekommt ein dementsprechend gutes Essen.

Service war super doch essen könnte für den Preis besser werden mit Beilagen dazu vielleicht sonst im allgemeinen ok.

Fleisch - einfach Fleisch - kann ich empfehlen - es schmeckt - Sauber / nett / sehr schnell beim Servieren.

Nicht sein Geld Wert. Haben 69€ bezahlt ohne Beilagen. Fühle mich abgezockt von dem Chef persönlich. Nicht zu empfählen von mir.

Achtung speisen sind nur für ein Spieß! Sehr teuer! + verrechnet auch noch Sachen die man nicht trinkt oder ist keine Empfehlung!

Das Essen war sehr lecker ich kann nur empfehlen.

Exzellentes Essen! Das beste was ich in einem mehrtägigen Aufenthalt gegessen habe! Das beste daran: Kaum Wartezeit am Tisch. Das Essen kommt super schnell und ohne viel unnötigen schnick schnack!
