Süßes Restaurant im Untergeschoss und mit Außenbereich. Die Pancakes und Pfannenkuchen waren so lecker. Der Service war schnell und freundlich. Unsere Speisen sind nach rund 5 Minuten gekommen, und waren alle Frisch und sehr lecker. Es gab auch Kostenlos kaltes Wasser, soviel man wollte. Ich kann dieses Ambiente nur empfehlen.

Sehr leckere Pfannkuchen und sehr nette Bedienung. Auch Sonderwünschen wurde gerne nachgekommen. Sehr zu empfehlen!
We came for the vegan options and found what i was looking for: the taste of real dutch pancakes with lots of sirup as I remember from my childhood. The service was very friendly too.
Die Bedienung war nett(hat uns gratis Schlüsselanhänger geschenkt), aber die Pancakes waren nicht so nett. Prinzipiell waren sie nicht schlecht jedoch sehr versalzen. Sie haben aber eine sehr gute glutenfreie Auswahl und wir werden trotzdem nochmal kommen um die süßen Pancakes zu probieren. Die Zitronen Limonade kann ich aber sehr empfehlen. Sehr erfrischend! Alles in allem war es nicht schlecht, aber auch nicht herausragend.
Das essen war oke aber nicht wirklich geniessbar. Der Service gibt sich null Mühe und wir mussten lange warten. Im der Not kann man dort den Hunger stillen aber sonst ist es nicht zu empfehlen.

This place is the definition of over-hyped and overpriced. The pancakes are distinctly average, the service is slow and they got our order very wrong when food did eventually come. For context, it says vegan friendly options but the reality is : you pay €2.5 extra for the "vegan batter" which I am aware will be replacing the milks but not including eggs; there aren't actually any suggested pancakes for us with toppings, but vegans can basically opt for some dry veg on top. They first served us chicken, and we had to wait even longer for our new pancakes. These were so unappealing I ate half, I remain unconvinced that the pesto is vegan... We got €10 off the bill and still had to pay €24 each. I just wanted to get out of there at that point. The atmosphere described by other reviews is actually dark, sticky floors and unclean toilets.
Long story short - vegans, avoid. Everyone else, go for the average food if that's what you're in Amsterdam for, but I'd not recommend this to anyone to queue for.

We had an excellent experience at Pancake Amsterdam. Despite some saying it was a tourist trap, we found this to be far from the truth. We ordered the America and the Apple Cinnamon pancakes, and they were super delicious. The flavors were perfect, and the portions were generous. The service was fantastic; the staff was friendly and attentive, making us feel welcome. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, perfect for enjoying a delightful meal. Highly recommend Pancake Amsterdam for anyone craving delicious pancakes and great service!

Had to wait for a bit to get in, but it worth the wait (there were quite a lot of seats in the restaurant actually, and it wasn't full when I was inside). The poffertjes was soooo good, it makes my mouth water from thinking about it. And a huge selection of tea too!
Petit restaurant adorable, accessible uniquement par des escaliers très raides (impraticables pour personnes à mobilité réduite). Il n’y a que 5 tables donc mieux vaut réserver à l’avance ! L’ambiance est très mimi, seul bémol, la salle très petite donne vite l’impression que la serveuse vous scrute (ce n’est qu’une impression j’espère).
Pancake was average… the seats are so tight I asked for swapping seat as the man on the table behind literally leaning on my back!!! Staff seems to be annoyed when I ask for swapping seat, probably because I complained about the 7-up I ordered just taste like sparkling water before hand. When I mentioned about the 7-up had no taste, the staff’s first reaction was “are you sure?” I literally wanted to ask her “Do you want to have a sip yourself?” Then she added some flavour to the sparkling water it tasted awful, not even close to what I ordered. It was the same staff by the way.
Really liked the spinach, cheese, fried egg and bacon. Never had anything like this at home. We'd call it a crepe...very thin. Loaded with flavor and loved the way some of the cheese got crispy. Only complaint is it was a little oily but still lovely. Like lots of places around this area the restaurant was small and cramped but not much to be done about that.
Great place for dutch pancakes. Friendly Staff, tasty pancakes, next to canal. Can get a bit noisy inside. Will go again.
Easily 5 starts Resturant. Best pancakes you can ever taste. Service are wonderful, humble, always helpful and smiling. There is a line however they are working fast to find you a seat. In addition literally the best pancakes ever
Wir wurden schnell bedient und das Essen war schnell am Platz. Die Pancakes sind lecker. Nur die Auswahl an Obst könnte vielfältiger sein und es ist bei vielen Gerichten viel Honig drauf. Die Preise sind für die gute Lage wirklich in Ordnung. An belebten Tagen muss man leider etwas anstehen bevor man einen Tisch bekommt.
This is a childhood memory that I hope will become one for many to visit here. The pancakes are nice and tasty, the staff is friendly (although the interaction is more with colleagues than with customers) and the setting is just beautiful. It's a bit loud and the atmosphere needs an upgrade. But that will not stop me from eating here!
Gute Pfannkuchen, ob süß oder deftig. Preise noch vertretbar. Etwas dunkel, da im Keller. Wir hatten mit Lachscreme und Banane/Nutella.

Pancakes Amsterdam ist ein absolutes Muss für alle Frühstücks- und Brunchliebhaber! Die Qualität der Pfannkuchen ist erstklassig 🥞. Besonders empfehlenswert sind die niederländischen Pfannkuchen mit Apfel und Speck - einfach himmlisch! Die Preise sind durchaus angemessen für die Qualität und Portionsgröße. Das Personal ist unglaublich freundlich und aufmerksam, was den Aufenthalt sehr angenehm macht 😊. Die Atmosphäre im Lokal ist gemütlich und modern, perfekt für einen entspannten Morgen oder Nachmittag. Insgesamt ein fantastisches Erlebnis, das ich jedem ohne Bedenken empfehlen kann!
Wer vegan, gluten-free oder auf Laktose achtet, bekommt eine andere sehr übersichtliche Karte ! Es ist sehr voll und schneller Services , aber sehr lecker. Ich würde immer wieder hin gehen.
Simply lovely place, people and food! I got the chicken, mushroom and cheese pancake. My friends got the chicken, pineapple and cheese pancake and the caprese crepe. I got the hot tea with rum - which admittedly was a mistake as I was completely unaware how strong the rum was in the tea! Overall, it was really a great place and it was recommended to me by one of my coworkers and I have no regrets! I would pass by again next time I am in Amsterdam.

The cheese, mushroom, and bacon pancake was out of this world. It has indoor and outdoor seating. I personally was lucky enough not to queue on a Sunday morning, but later a line started to form (moved fast though).

Wir waren an einem Vormittag während unseres Amsterdamtrips dort und fanden das Restaurant sehr zentral gelegen, nahe dem Anne-Frank-Haus, direkt an einer der vielen schönen Grachten. Das Ambiente ist sowohl draußen als auch drinnen sehr ansprechend. Das Servicepersonal war äußerst freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wir bestellten zwei verschiedene süße Pancake-Varianten sowie ein herzhaftes Rührei mit Bacon und Toast. Alles war sehr lecker. Ein Besuch lohnt sich definitiv.
Wir haben hier gegen Mittag uns zum Frühstücken eingefunden. Und haben ein süßen und herzhaften Pfannekuchen gegessen.
Der Service war sehr nett und schnell. Uns fehlte nicht bei dem Besuch.

Perfect place for the family with children & pet, good atmosphere, nice food and service.
This place is an Utrecht classic, and I'm glad it's still going strong through all the changes in the area. I loved it when I was a student here, and little has changed in the 15 years since. Best classic Dutch pancakes in Utrecht, plus friendly attentive service in a charming medieval wharf warehouse with unpretentious and casual decor.
Great food & experience. Overall worth the long wait — in the rain (!). Authentic Dutch and German pancake styles — creative, delicious, weird and wonderful.
Get there well before they open to skip the lines (though that’s a line too of course). We got there at 9:45am on a Monday — and while we had a :30 min wait outside, people did start to leave… so that strategy paid off.

Speisen sehr lecker, höffliches Personal. Auch bei uns unhygienische Toiletten sowie der Tisch und Sirup auf dem Tisch verkleben.
Great pannekoeken house! The scenery is lovely (right on the canal). The food was prepared perfectly, and the staff were amazing. The kids play area was a really nice touch, allowing us to sit peacefully for several hours whilst the kids were suitably entertained.

Had to try the traditional dutch pancakes when visiting Amsterdam. I opted for a savoury options and ordered the spinach and fried egg pancake (slightly healthier pancake option?). It tasted amazing! The pancake was crispy and it went well with the spinach and egg.
The portion might look huge, but the pancake was very thin so it was easy to finish even just for one person.

Man kann schön draußen sitzen, leider mussten wir etwas lange warten bis wir bedient wurden.
The staff were all friendly and our food and drinks arrived quickly. The iced coffee was amazing and the pancakes were soft and fluffy, the portion sizes were also really filling and good for the price, and you get a mini stroopwafel with your coffee.
Everyone kept recommending Dutch pancakes and who was I to refuse? They were so good! I had savory and my mom had sweet, both were delicious. I wish I got a picture before I started eating but I wasn’t expecting them to be that tasty. The weather was so pleasant that the patio was perfect for our brunch. If you’re a confused tourist like me, make sure you signal you’d like the bill somehow because we didn’t see our server again. Another person was coming around to close tabs with the card machine. Would def recommend this place though. Great food, atmosphere and prices.

Leider waren die Pancakes 🥞 nicht so lecker wie gedacht, weil sie sehr dünn waren. Der Käse war nicht geschmolzen IM Pfannkuchen, sondern etwas angegrillt AUF dem Pfannkuchen.
I love the Dutch pancakes here 🥞 I always bring my friends from overseas to have the pancakes here. The only compliant I have is about the atmosphere of this restaurant. It feels like it really needs some renovation and it's very cold in winter inside. I hope so nice renovation to be done and keep this treasure pancake house 🥰
Wir sind abends spontan (unter der Woche und außerhalb der Saison) hergekommen und haben ohne Reservierung problemlos einen Tisch bekommen. Das Essen wurde sehr schnell serviert, war sehr lecker und das Ambiente ist super: die Musik war gut gewählt und lief in einer angenehmenen Lautstärke, die Toiletten waren sehr sauber und das Personal war sehr nett. Die Preise haben uns erst überrascht, aber geschmacklich und qualitativ haben uns die Gerichte absolut überzeugt :D

A great place for pancakes, I did not enjoy the first order of pancake all that much. I ordered the Dutch apple and almond pancake, it was not as sweet as I expected it, a little rubbery and not warm.
I was a little disappointed. However since I heard a lot about this place, I returned the next day and ordered Dutch chocolate and banana, and it was amazing I was very impressed, the pancake was moist, thin and warm. I’m so glad I gave it another try.
Service was very good and swift both times.
They do not take cash as payment (cash tips are okay).
I believe they can be even better.

Top! Nur 3 Minuten vom Bahnhof entfernt. Samstag morgens gg 10 Uhr keine Chance, heute Sonntag um 9 Uhr haben wir direkt einen Platz bekommen. Freundliche Kellner auf Zack, Pfannkuchen mega und auch besondere Kombinationen dabei. Absolute Empfehlung 🥰
The teahouse is a lovely perfect place for a brunch. It’s pretty crowded during lunchtime so you want to make early reservation. Otherwise you may have to wait outside for a table.
The food quality is good. The panza (pancake and pizza) is a small let down for me, probably because of the veggies topping. I recommend to stick with either one but not to combine.
And the appeltaart is highly recommended.

We were somewhat neutral towards Dutch pancakes (felt like something between American pancakes and crepes), but the toppings were pretty good and drinks too

Lovely place. The food was great. Recommend mixing sweet and sour toppings. Our waitress needed us to repeat our drink orders multiple times and could not get them right. Overall she seemed out of it and made us feel awkward.

Die Pfannkuchen waren toll und sehr lecker. Die Bedienung heute (groß, schlank) hatte keine Lust und Differenzen mit den Köchen. Die schlechte Laune sah man sehr deutlich.
Man sollte Geduld mitbringen, da der Service nicht so umsichtig und schnell ist.

J'ai adoré manger dans ce petit restaurant. J'ai été impressionnée de la taille des pancakes, et ils étaient très bon. Attention il y a très peu de places et on a été chanceux, mais ça vaut le coup si vous passez dans le coin.
Super leckere und interessante Pancakes - sowohl süß als auch herzhaft. Aufgrund der exponierten Lage ist das Restaurant an warmen und schönen Tagen aber extrem voll - die Gäste müssen Schlange stehen bis ein freier Tisch zugewiesen wird.

Leckeres Essen, schöne Location, Service Personal spricht super Englisch, Preise lokal (leider etwas teurer, aber normales Niveau in Amsterdam); Service Personal etwas aufdringlich
War ganz ok im Gegensatz zu den anderen Läden auch günstiger. Habe ein Pancake bestellt mit Früchten. Ein Punkt Abzug, die Früchte waren nicht der Saison entsprechen. Die Mitarbeiter sehr freundlich.

Passons à la dégustation, ce sont des grosses crêpes épaisses mais pas autant qu'un pancake mais beaucoup plus gourmand qu'une simple crêpe, il y a du choix, salé ou sucré : nous avons pris une bacon fromage et pomme, une jambon fromage, et une au poulet crème champignons : délicieux et copieux. En boisson c'est majoritairement comme un salon de thé ( pas d'alcools) chocolats, cafés etc... Rapport qualité prix très honnête : 48,50€ avec 3 crêpes et trois boissons. Le service est chaleureux et sympathique

Tombé sur ce mini restaurant de ''crêpe'' par hazard (merci Google) tout parfait ! Le personnel, les crêpes, l'ambiance, bien sûr que je recommande 👍 !
Les crêpes hollandaises sont délicieuses et sont bien nourrissantes, elles n'ont rien à voir avec nos crêpes françaises. Du choix en sucré et en salé. Le restaurant est à l'étage (d'où le nom ahaha) il faut emprunter un petit escalier donc pas accessible aux personnes à mobilité réduite malheureusement :/ Sinon le lieu est adorable et atypique, cela mérite vraiment le détour ! Par contre il n'y a que 3 petites tables alors pensez à réserver pour ne pas trop attendre. Bref si vous voulez manger pour pas trop cher dans le centre d'Amsterdam n'hésitez pas !!

Nous avons eu de la chance car seulement 10 minutes d'attente. Parfait pour se décider sur ce qu'on allait manger. Pas du tout déçus, l'assiette la déco et le service tout était parfait. Attention ils ne prennent pas la CB.

Très petit et exigu restaurant avec tres peu de table mais peu d'attente cependant. La carte est simple mais les pancakes sont très bon !
