Vanaf het moment dat je bij Puur Sanh je warme handdoekje bij binnenkomst hebt gekregen, wil je hier eigenlijk niet meer weg. Is het niet vanwege het fantastisch goede en originele eten of de fijne wijnen, dan is het wel vanwege Sarah en Stijn. Hun enthousiasme, humor en professionaliteit zijn zo fijn afgestemd op hun gasten.
Mocht je een whisky-liefhebber zijn, voor 7 gangen whisky-pairing draait Sarah haar hand niet om :). Tofste restaurant in verre omgeving van Nijmegen (ook voor de lunch)!

Heerlijk eten en heel vriendelijk personeel. Fijn dat er veel plantaardige keuzes zijn.

Wij hebben hier heerlijk gegeten. Alle gerechten waren uitstekend van smaak en mooi opgemaakt. De bediening was erg attend en gaf veel uitleg bij ieder gerecht en wijn. Het restaurant is in 2 delen gesplitst, wij zaten in het kleinere deel en alhoewel het gezellig zitten is, vonden wij het andere deel iets leuker ogen vanwege de grotere lichtinval. Uiteindelijk waren wij met 2 personen 266 euro kwijt voor 5 gangen, incl wijnarrangement bij iedere gang en een antipasti "starter" met een drankje buiten het wijnarrangement. Zeker niet goedkoop, voor zo af en toe vonden wij het waard.

very cozy brunch place. love the fresh, organic ingredients. this place is definitely not your average brunch restaurant servicing regular egg Benedict. you need make a reservation at least like a week in advance, but definitely very worth it.

We wanted to go to Gartine for a very long time and finally made it this weekend!
It was a truly wonderful gastronomic experince and probably the best brunch we ever ate! Every dish is unique and tasty, you can see how much love and energy was put into every dish, to make it so delicious! The service was also super friendly and helpful!
The place itself feels very cozy and intimate.
We LOVED it there and would definately come back soon.

Wow, this place is a must do. It's out of the touristy area, a little cheaper but the best quality Dutch pancake you'll find. It is also paired with the highest quality of service I've had, polite, friendly, efficient and caring. The coffee is also perfect. 10/10 recommend.

By far the best eggs Benedict I've ever had. Each individual ingredient was scrumptious, and the combination was mind blowing.

One of the best breakfasts I’ve had this trip and in recent memory. The Benedict with their smoked salmon tartare was unlike any dish I’ve had. Bright, crisp fresh herbs and greens with a flavorful salmon mix that made me want more and more.

Highly recommend this spot and making a reservation - it’s quite small and cozy.

Smack in the middle of the tourist centre of Amsterdam is located this little restaurant. It is tucked away from the bustle of the city while still being in a central location. The food was so fresh and delicious, and the service was very attentive.

This became a daily stop for us during our trip. Plenty of options including vegan options for your pancake or waffle. I recommend the vegan whipped cream! So tasty!

Gartine exceeded my expectations in every way. It’s a must-visit for anyone looking to indulge in delicious brunch fare served with a side of warmth and hospitality. I can’t wait to return and explore more of their tempting menu offerings!

Order a Brussel waffle, it was burnt with super thin bottom, and even has holes because it was so thin. One star goes to the strawberry. Super overpriced and over rated.

Heerlijk 5 gangen amuse diner. Iedere gang 3 smakelijke gerechtjes, die alles bij elkaar een geslaagd diner vormden. Onze highlights waren de Haring salade, Paprika tomaten soep, Venkel risotto, Goulash en van de toetjes de Rabarber crumble. We komen zeker nog eens terug!

Good food; good wine; good service. Each of these is a very specific art form that ties restaurant has mastered. I sat next to a piano converted in bottles, giving a hint of what was to come. The waitstaff is attentive and unobtrusive, though more than willing to engage in conversation if you desire.

As one should, I chose the level 2 wines and six courses. Don’t short yourself—you deserve to taste every thing this establishment had to offer.

Each course is delicately prepared. Every component is delicious in its own right and becomes part of a symphony when combined and paired with the wines. Han’s explains the wines and courses in a matter of fact way, though with the underlying playfulness that you need for a good menu. He is personable and delightful.

The chef is an invisible force, creating her complex works of art in the kitchen. But you can see her dedication and desire to make good food in every plate. I’ll confess, I poked my head in the kitchen to show my appreciation and she smiled in return.

The food and wine play together, highlighting different elements. A desert course brings out a licorice in the wine. A starter calms a wild briney Chardonnay.

Treat yourself to De Utrechtsefwarstafel. You won’t regret it.

It was a great experience. Thank you for your excellent hospitality. This is not like any other restaurant. Rather it felt like we were privileged guests at this heartwarming place. The food was a discovery. New tastes, new textures, beautifully presented. The best was the explanations from our host, who brought us knowledge about the things we were experiencing. A memory to make us forever remember Amsterdam.

Tucked away restaurant behind the central station, finally a place were they have no background music. All over the ingredients are bio and vegan. you will be suprised about the quality, tasty and surprising combinations. We have tried the excellent Kombucha and gruner Veltliner wine. Shortly this a real delight restaurant concept. Service super friendly and attentive.

Das Essen war echt top!!! Wirklich wirklich super! Die Bedienung war freundlich. Was uns nicht gefallen hat war, dass es extrem laut war, man könnte einander kaum hören. Und auch noch dunkel dazu. Man wollte einfach schneller fertig werden und fliehen. Schade, weil das Essen echt köstlich war.

Such an amazing restaurant, such an amazing evening. The restaurant is eccentric, the owner is eccentric, but both in the very best of ways. If you want to experience passion in food, drinks and service this is needed. I had amazing dishes, incredible wines and inspiring conversation. Thank you, it was a true pleasure.

De service bij dit restaurant is uitstekend, met attente en supervriendelijke bediening. Het eten is fantastisch en de wijnen zijn perfect afgestemd. Ook de no-waste visie vinden wij een groot pluspunt en wordt creatief aangebracht. Een heerlijke ervaring van begin tot eind!

First time ever I had Rolled Pancakes. We went for brunch. Shop/cafe is small but vibrant. Service was excellent but the main thing were Pancakes they were so yummy you just can't stop stuffing your mouth.

I would highly recommend visiting and having brunch or breakfast at The Happy Pig Pancake.

We hebben heerlijk gegeten. Eigenlijk teveel maar dat was onze eigen schuld 7 gangen. Enkel eendenlever had ik liever voor me hoofdgerecht ergens in het menu gehad.

The food was fantastic! The produce was super fresh and the dishes were well made. They had a unique twist to them as well. The owners were lovely and welcoming! I highly recommend this place :)

Balijepark ligt minddenin een woonwijk daarmee is het met recht een goed verborgen pareltje. Geen kaart vind ik op voorhand al fantastisch en is persoonlijk dat besef ik mij goed. Maar de pure smaken van tonijn en biet gecombineerd en vervolgens lambsrack en pompoen met een lamsjus waren ongelooflijk goed. Jammer dat ik vergeten ben om een foto te maken van beide gerechten maar je mag het mij persoonlijk aanrekenen als deze review jou een teleurstellende ervaring heeft opgeleverd.

Een heel klein ieniemini puntje is dat je je reservering online niet kunt wijzigen/aanpassen/aanvullen. Met bijvoorbeeld Formitable kan dat tot 2 uur voor de reservering. Ik zelf vind dat altijd heel erg fijn als dat wel kan.

We really enjoyed our pancakes here. The vegan one was excellent and I’m really happy to see these options. The chocolate sauce was great. There was the right amount of sauce to pancake ratio and I loved how they served it rolled up. Wasn’t much seating but we managed to get a table when people moved.

Great food, paticularly the scrambled eggs on toast, croissant and cherry jam. I'd skip the coffee next time - it was fine, but not the best. Friendly service. Worth booking in advance, as it was fairly busy, even on a Thursday morning. I'll be buying more jam next time!

Het is een heel sfeervol biologisch huiskamer restaurant, waar je ook erg lekker kunt eten. Ik was er op een maandag, dan is er verrassingsmenu. De koelkast wordt dan "leeggekookt".
Ieder krijgt iets anders, en er wordt (bijna) niets weggegooid. Wat een super initiatief!! Wel even reserveren!

Op 4 november 2023 waren wij te gast bij Balijepark. Een diner staat garant voor genieten. De voor ons uitgekozen wijnen vormden een verrassend passend geheel met de gerechten. De presentatie en smaak van gerechten is perfect. Zeker een restaurant om heen te gaan en eenmaal geweest: te onthouden.

I’m in pancake frenzy now, I’m here for one day layover and I’ve tried pancakes from two different places in just one day. This one more like a crepe than typical American pancakes, still this is the real thing. I ordered a pancake with Gouda. It was warm, moist and so good. €11 in total well worth it. forget about dieting for couple days indulge in this beauty.

Eten is goed, de bediening is de afgelopen keer erg jong en stopt op de helft van het verhaal over de wijn. De wijnen vond ik dit keer ook tegenvallen voor de prijs van het arrangement dat je ervoor betaald.

Heard about this place from one of my friends but I was unsure what to get. I followed one of the pancake recommendations but still was unsure, I ended up asking the employee what was the best. She said if I was looking for something savory, go with the Orient Express, for something sweet, the Dutch Delight. I wanted something savory so I chose the Orient Express which was a pancake with gouda cheese, tomatoes, and spicy hot cilantro sauce. I wish the pancake put more sauce, the tomatoes just overpowered the whole thing. Overall there isn't too much seating inside, maybe for about 15.

Bewust geen grote keuze kaart maar daarmee precies wat je nodig hebt. Waarom moeten kiezen als het lekkere al voor je gekozen is. Laat je verrassen met het verrassing menu of ga voor zekerheid en kies uit de 3 gangen. Wij komen zeker terug!

Heel leuk en sfeervol restaurant.

Meneer en mevrouw runnen deze tent met plezier en dat is te merken in het eten!
Echt leuk om hier te zijn geweest. Eenvoudige menu’s maar wel met veel smaak! En prachtig uitzicht in de zomer op het terras voor het huis.

Eten is smaakvol en goedkoop en biologisch en ecologisch verantwoord.

Ik kom hier zeker nog een keer terug als ik in de buurt ben!
