I am very pleased with the service that I have received today for me and my baby , my husband was also pleased! great to see alot of improvements and changes happening as I have been coming to this doctors since I was a kid , me and my family have originally been at this doctors always!! . The reception team have improved in attitude wise and the manner they serve people which I was happy about , nurses were awesome with my baby's immunizations so thanks for that , also massive thank you to the best doctor ever Dr Oonagh Turner who me and my family have been seeing and she is familiar with my family for years. Her service is exceptional and amazing , she's is so thoughtful and a good listener always and she always seems to give us the right medical advise and treatments so I really appreciate it.

Awesome work GP Central I hope it remains like this in the near future for more people to enjoy coming too.

Reception staff are welcoming and helpful, nurses are super kind and doctors actually care about your health. Couldn't recommend a better GP! My first visit was 10/10

Today was my second visit to Balmoral Doctors. I was there about two years ago, and I went back today. Initially, everything went well. The doctor was very friendly and chatty. However, after 15 minutes, he told me that my time was up and that I would need to pay again and return another time so he could properly check my problem and possibly prescribe medication. I don't want to pay $95 just to talk to someone for 15 minutes.

Lovely Nurse and Doctor, I have been with Doctor Mahlaqa for almost 10 years and don't want to change, the clinic is very nice and the Doctor is very caring and makes us feel comfortable, I am happy to travel from the north shore to go there, Thank you for the service and all your hard work I really appreciate it!

Very unprofessional at reception, tried to scam me $45 for see a doctor while I'm on acc, they yell at me

I had a good experience with Dr Sachin chullian. The receptionists and nurses are friendly and helpful.

The old Indian receptionist not the young one was very racist.

Not only the staff and doctors go above and beyond they also reflect good values of the healthcare system.
Things have changed for good since Dr Richard has taken over and we feel things are flowing pretty well that includes difficult navigation through the COVID.
I want to thank the doctors team for being patient and thorough with consultations.
Patient facing roles are not easy but things can be improved a bit more at the front desk.

i counted 36 people already seated when i walked in and still a line at the door they were processing i have now waited 3 hrs exactly and on arrival i was told there were 2 doctors on and a 1 hr 20 min wait they continue to herd people through i feel i am pushed back thus the wait and noted i am the only european …

Absolutely horrific wait times and horrific care, the receptionists does not care when there are five people in the line, the receptions don't give a fxxk, they will keep carrying on with their own business.

I've seen Dr. Saravanan and he refused to do anything, I had to go to my previous GP to get a prescription

I have to say if the doctors and personnel here does not want to provide any healthcare, growing potatoes is an activity that does not harm anyone and delay people getting healthcare

Local Doctors. Very clean and tidy .pleasant staff. Caring and reliable treatment by all the staff. The practice now has a 2nd branch in Dominion Road.

Best GP I have experience first time ever in been 6 Years in NZ.

Till last weekend to me going GP’s was like a nightmare. But Maria at reception and Dr. Qunnie changed my preception for NZ health care system. Not all GP’s are for money Some doctors Like Dr. Qunnie and Maria are here to help people. Humble reception lady Maria literally went step aheads to help us out with some pregnancy emergency even tho otherGP just ripped off us on saturday and nothing was in our way. I will always recommend everyone to go to GP central. As they will treat you like human and their patient not just in count in dollars.

Worst practice I have ever been to . Extremely rude they change their pricing between them and they have no idea. you are told one price then they want to charge another this happened on more than one occasion . They don’t listen they don’t give you correct scripts when asked for . Would not recommend them. Best thing i did was move doctors they are a nightmare . All they want is the money no care or compassion at all for patients.

My doctor is great but getting appointments done or prescriptions completed can be a real mission. they have a contact phone number that only goes through to a call centre and often they don't answer! They do not respond or reply to emails either. Because of the Dr shortage they closed my Glendene practice so that also further complicates things.

Reception, nurses and Doctors very attentive. Take time to listen and talk you through treatment available. Highly recommend.

This was a good practice before under Dr.Gabriel. I would even make the drive to see him since he is been our family doctor for years. But since under new management this place has gone downhill. Receptionist don’t pick up phone, the main doctor comes off very rude, perhaps learn proper communication skills and build the trust of existing clients of Dr.Gabriel.

Good staff and good doctors with plenty of experience between them.

Love my doctor's 💕 more often than not I can get an appointment the day I call (as long as I call first thing at 8am) or at the very least the next day 👌

The Health Clinic is easy to find at ground floor level of Whanau House, West of Westcity shopping complex. The large off-street parking has half its spaces with a slight slope. Half of which are wheelchair-friendly.

The Clinic no longer has weekend clinics - despite advertising that they do. It can take an hour to see a nurse at times. And then wait for...

New policies not being advised to patients --
I got bounced for being 10 minutes late for my doctor's appointment after waiting 3 days for the appointment - and invited to come back in three days.
Next visit - oops?? After arriving 10 minutes early, I am left to wait a total of 40 minutes in triage. No nurses around for 10 minutes, and no 'dramas' in progress. Hmmm
Today I get told of another new policy - "you need to be here before 3pm for a nurse visit" - advised to "Come back tomorrow ".

Some wall notices would be a bit effective communication with patients.

The reception team can be pleasant, welcoming and efficious. The nurse/triage team can be equally astute and professional.

I felt listened to, understood, and cared-for at most doctor's visit. The Wai Health team are under pressure at times - but staff are consistly professional, friendly and helpful.

Prescriptions are emailed to your chosen chemist, with a copy to your email, but they can be printed upon request.

Very busy. Good doctors, but can be hard to get an appointment.

My wait is never any longer than 15 minutes. So easy to get get an appointment because they don't overbook.

Constantly let down, I always have to wait minimum 30 minutes after the appointment time to be seen. This practice made us wait an hour for vaccinations for our 15 month old son, it got to the point we left and had to reschedule an appointment because they prioritized elderly people getting their flu jab over a little baby (the vaccination he needed would take 3 minutes then we have to wait 15 further minutes in the waiting room to see if there is a reaction) I have been a patient there for 33 years and now finding another family doctor as their customer service is appalling. I would not go there again!
