New to area.. it's bunnings. But got what needed, and a reminder of how younger people are.. One lady busy on phone. hung up. to help me. 7 " Workers " standing around talking and laughing by front door.. when I payed. I asked nice lady. ? Don't people say anything?? No. Everyone afraid of HR. . I'd apply for managers job here. . . definitely HR gets fired first.
Well laid out shop. Friendly staff directed us to where we needed to be. Great prices.
Bunnings at Westgate is super sized like everything else at Westgate. Wide aisles and big displays actually made it harder to find what we wanted and it took an age when we queried a price and the assistant has to go to check it up. (We were right but they were obliging.) Great parking too.
I usually go here for the cafe and playground.
Cheap but tasty food. Can easily see your kids on the playground through the plexiglass while you enjoy a coffee.

The Bunnings team are so friendly and helpful. Adam has a lot of knowledge of just about every item in the store. A great asset to your company. Thank you Adam and Flower and the rest of the team.
Wouldn't it be great to have a few thousand bucks in your pocket to spend there. Heaven on earth for the trade or home handyman or interior/exterior decorator.
A store with everything that trade or retail could ever require. Good service, a great selection of top products and deals to be done. There is plenty of stock all neat and tidy and easy to get around.
Great for what I need. Parking not great , bit narrow for your vehicles, sorry to say.

Always a pleasure at Bunnings. Clear directions and friendly service. Young man helped me get my unit into the car. Excellent parking and prices are the best. I bought the 2 door Bedford unit and it was super heavy. Put it together and now using it as a pantry. The doors were a nightmare to adjust but got there in the end. Did it all on my own so very proud of myself. The instructions were good apart from the parts not being clearly labelled in the insts and you had to guess a bit what goes where etc. please with the result and quite a sturdy unit over all. Hopefully it will last. Just what I needed. Thanks again Bunnings.
Good for selection of timber all under cover. My local bunnings is Grey Lynn and although they stock some timber its not a large range. Bunnings Avondale Trade has a large range of sheet products and timber including LVL and treated timber. Good service during the week staff available.
I go to Bunnings often in Australia and the Queenstown store is just as awesome. The product range is amazing. The service is just as good - I had 3 people helping me find an obscure window handle today.

All I wanted was a pack of cable ties (zip ties).
I could see it was going to be a mission. The staff member who helped me knew instantly where they were and her way of pointing me in the right direction was hilarious.
The counter staff couldn't have been more helpful either.

I purchased a shed before Christmas, after being told it was a week away. Once the order was placed I was informed it was a month away as it was an MTO.
Once the shed finally turned up, I then was paying $309 to get it delivered. 1st delivery was the shed and the base.
3 weeks later after Christmas I hired a builder to put the shed together, he came to site to put it together. After building the base he opened the shed box up to find no channels. I contacted Sonia, who was my 1st point of contact and she said it was only 2 parcels no more and she'd contact manufacturer. After several hours I had to let my builder go as I'd not heard back. He charged me for his time.
I finally heard back from Sonia she said the channels were in their yard, as to why they hadn't been delivered at the time of the shed was not discussed. When they turned up 2 days later (2 days later than promised) I couldn't get my builder back, he was fully booked for the next 2 months and the channels had a delivery date to PM Westgate of 14DEC22. So it was there the whole time. There was no apology as to why it was not delivered as part of the initial delivery, it was a 3 part delivery not 2 as previously thought. I asked Sonia about compensation for the fact that I had to send my builder away and that I'd paid him. She said she'd have to get an account manager to call me. No one did. I emailed her twice and contacted Tracey via phone to ask for further support. I've not heard from anyone at Place Makers. The post sale service is dreadful. No explanations no one taking accountability for delays in supply of goods and that it cost me financially for someone to put it together and couldn't.
It's not good enough that no one has contacted me, but that you just ignore the customer is the worst thing. I work is a service industry, and never would it be acceptable to just ignore a customer and hope they go away without resolving the issue.
An update to this review, is that Hayden contacted me a week after I posted my 1 star review. And I'm more than satisfied with the outcome and resolution that we have come to. And appreciate the opportunity to move forward. This means alot. Many thanks Hayden .

The app is confused. I went to stainless supplies over the road who are my no 1 stop for my stainless supies in np.
The old blonde woman was insanely rude and arrogant.I asked for help and received nothing of the sort. I worked 15 years in customer service and this was bar far the worst display of customer care ever. Other staff were amazing
I went there to pick up a Company order. At Scan in the guy said go to the trade desk as we do have an account. First lady said I was at the wrong desk, couldn't find the order number and was I really sure I had the correct place. Got fobbed off to another lady who mimicked the first one. I rang work, they spoke to her and I was told to go to the far corner and find someone to help me, problem with that was she kept the purchase order for processing when apparently they said I had the wrong desk. Found goods myself. Sign said to nominate the Female customer service representative for Employee of the month or similar, why would I bother.

Our first choice for our fencing needs. Staff go above and beyond to help get you what you need, even so far as to check other stores withing a driving distance. Great store, AMAZING staff.

Store staff is really helpful but click and collect items always late. Estimated time on website is 2-5 working days but took more than two weeks and no contact from anyone. You guys really need to improve promise time on click and collect orders. Just be honest and give customers a call if its late, don't just try to hide out.
We decided to purchase our new kitchen from Placemakers Westgate after meeting their designer Lahari. She provided the advice we needed and her customer skills and follow up was excellent.
The kitchen was delivered as per plan and budget, very happy with the quality and installation went without a hitch.

Impressive and a MASSIVE new store, big in size and being new, everything are in stock. I cant remember any other stores that can offer all this massive space and stocks it carries. Event the drive through lane is wider than that of Mitre10. Excellent LOCATION, THE BEST THING IS HEAPS UNDER COVER PAKRING!!! Which nearby Mitre 10 lacks. Mitre10 also now only opens 8am on weekends which is a turn off for many customers.. The Bunnings location is so close to motorway off ramp. Check out my photos, you will love the new store. Go for a visit. Try out their cargo lifts, for effortless moving your shopping from upper level to your vehicle downstairs. Really friendly team of staff too, great trainging from the management. Keep it up.

Got ourselves a new oven from here. Was a quick and easy buy. Staff were great. Knew everything we needed to know about what we needed.
Will be back to buy the rest of our kitchen here when we refit in the near future.

Staff were very helpful especially the man in the yard and big thankyou to the lady who spotted my wallet left on the counter. However I'm concerned that I was not credited for the 30 stainless soakers ($100) I returned and were received by Kevin. I will be very happy once the credit is paid out.
