Used the online store to purchase a $200 item and was met with 6 weeks of silence. I was unable to contact anyone through, email, the 0800 number and even the local store unable to help me too. It wasn't until I got my bank to dispute the transaction, they ended up responding. Genuinely felt scammed. Save your time and shop somewhere else.

I am beyond upset… we spent a good amount of money getting out teenage sons electric scooters for Xmas. Before purchasing we were assured over and over again that if there were any troubles with either of the models tyres we would be able to bring them back to the store to fix. 3 months later we have a tyre that needs replacing and torpedo 7 not only inform us we don’t do that anymore, they could also not even help us. We went all over the city and were unable to find anyone to help us. To make matters worse, the same models are on sale at the store. This sheer negligence and lack of care has to be a violation of consumer rights. We could have bought a cheap car and had the same problems and now we have a teenager without transport that is causing large stress to our single car family. Do better Torpedo 7. Do not trust them!

Wow, what a stellar performance by Torpedo7!

So, I decided to grace them with my order a whole month ago for an e-scooter that, according to them, was lounging around in their oh-so-abundant stock. But oh, when I reached out to the store after patiently counting down 21 days, they hit me with the classic "we're swamped, can't be bothered" line.

And here I am, still waiting, because apparently, ita fun for them. I even tried the old customer care hotline, only to be told, "Sorry, the store's the only one who can save you now."

All three staff I spoke to were very helpful and happy, but Luke went above and beyond to help track down bodyboards and fix an online order that had gone wrong. His knowledge of the T7 systems made things sooo much easier!!! Full marks to the team at Westgate. Great service

Purchased new togs here - staff so friendly and helpful. Nice vibe and folk always came up to offer a hand in the various sections but weren’t overbearing or pushy. Good layout of items and fun to browse

Purchased 2 Ebikes from them. 1 from Westgate and 1 from Albany (in stock). After Albany forgot to do the final check on the bike, Aedrian at Westgate was super helpful and said he can do it for us. 100% can recomend Torpedo 7 Westgate. Ask for Aedrian, he will sort you out.

Asked 3 of the staff if they did lay buy. One said he would check.. he didn't . The other said no. The guy at the counter told me they had zip as an option. The website said if I went instore that it was an option. Felt the young staff were there just to get the correct shoe size and didn't have any expert knowledge on the stock..

Purchased my electric bike at Torpedo7 Westgate, and they’ve been taking excellent care of me. Shoutout to Cullen, the bike service adviser, for a fantastic job! Really happy with their service. 👍

This new phone system is unbelievable, worse than Gas and Power companies. Have been transfered between about 7 different voice messages. Just let people ring the store.

I purchased an electric scooter of mammoth company from Torpedo7 in the last week of Feb 2023 and in 5 months it got punctured three times and when I asked someone on reception about it he said that his bike also gets puncture sometimes 3 times a week..I think this was not an accurate reply to my query and First they charged me 22$, Second time they charged me 65$ for the same problem and when I asked what is this for then they said its their mechanic labour.. And now it got punctured third time..I am sorry to say but I am not at all happy with their services.

Pretty disappointed today. Had to return a set of headphones which had clearly failed. Heard nothing for a week, went in to check and ask for a replacement. The manager was extremely patronizing and rude. Gave some wayward explanation of how they were still fit for purpose, yet they don't even turn on? I asked him to fulfill his return obligations under their own policy and also the consumers garuntees act, he blatantly said he won't be doing that today. Kept trying to talk over me and made no effort to put the customer first at all, in fact totally the opposite. Frustrating, won't be going back and definitely cannot recommend them at all, plenty of better choices locally.
