Not worth it in the slightest. The only good thing was the service and decor. Prices were very high. Makes sense considering it’s for tourists, but there are so many better options for normal prices. The mango shake was quite literally just yogurt in a cup. The hummus was bland and was served with cold bread. The calamari was not hot. My shwarma wrap was half mayonnaise. The servers were kind but the food was not. Look elsewhere.

there's this old restaurant in the Ghala area. They're famous for their Dum Biryani, it sells out super fast during lunch. You should definitely try their Biryani or their Meals during lunchtime.

From a local guy we heard that this resturant has good grilled meat.
We had lamb chops, beef steak and chicken kebaab. Sea food soup and a mushroom soup.
Lamb chops were burned on grill and very very chewy.
Beef steak was made well done, thin and not the proper piece of beef for a steak.
Rice with eggs was the best thing and a ginger - lime juice was to recommend.
The service was very good.
Would not recommend this place for westerner tourists seeking for grilled meat.

Extra star for the ambiance and service that lives upto the Chedi name. Found the food mediocre, unfortunately. Burrata was lacking flavours - could have used an extra drizzle of pesto and balsamic vinegar.
Mushroom soup was excellent.
Tiger prawns and chicken safadi were just okay.
For the mains we ordered the Rogan Josh- the meat would have been more tender and the rice it was accompanied with was not basmati and was not "biriyani" as noted in the menu if I remember correctly. The lamb tagine and the arabic grill platter were okay - lamb chops were delicious!

The service was excellent and the food was delicious, especially the chicken, gravy, spicy dishes, and the lime juice at the end of the meal. Overall, it was a great experience and the food was worth it. The prices are reasonable compared to other hotels in the same range.
The clouds is a rooftop restaurant located within “the cave” complex which is by the hillside. It’s has plenty parking, amazing scenic views of the mountains its beside as well as the town it overlooks. It has an indoor/outdoor and balcony seating. They do live music during the evenings on weekends. Food was good as was their service, they served Lebanese style food but also had other things like pastas and steaks. They’re also a restaurant who will provide you with shisha/hooka if you’ve chosen outdoor seating. I found the restaurant starts to get busy from 8pm onwards as the locals eat quite late. Restaurant was priced well all things considered, was about £20 per head with the shisha’s and food

I recently enjoyed an exceptional seafood platter featuring perfectly grilled prawns and tender squid. The mussels were steamed to perfection with a hint of garlic and parsley. The freshness and expert preparation made this meal a true delight. Highly recommended!

A restaurant opposite to the Mutrah Corniche, this Seafood restaurant offers freshly cooked seafood and other local favourites like Omani and Indian dishes.
The Lamb Chops is really tasty and flavourful. I could order more of this but needed to control a little.
We also ordered Chicken Mandi, which is delightfully good.
One main asset of this is their staff, they're so friendly and attentive to service. I observed the same with everyone doing the same with other guest, which shows consistency. Kudos to Nokibe and Arif.

المطعم مصمم بطريقة جيدة و مميزة، و الطعام لذيذ بصفة عامة . اتمنى لو يتم تحسين المدخل و إظهاره اكثر لانه من بعيد المدخل غير ظاهر و المطعم كذلك غير ظاهر من بعيد.
It was empty not that much foot fall. The view is gorgeous. I think and kindly I suggest to find new plans to develop. The place is worthy ,food also is tasty. Sth in between need to be adjusted. Thank u
If you want to escape the busy souq then is this the place to go. Really tasty food. I can recommend it. In addition you are able to pay with card which is also a benefit. 🙂
The seafood and fish was tasty and cooked very well, we wanted to try it based on the high reviews we read, we reached there it was empty and we felt we might have been wrong, however when we ordered, fish, two dish of shrimps, squid , rocca salad and hummus… we were amazed…I highly recommend this place…. And the price was cheap for what we ordered!
The place is quite big place with nice atmosphere but with no ethic for the neighborhood on every football game at night we can’t sleep form the sound of the music and loud TV and crowd.

This restaurant has the best seafood I have ever had! The food was incredibly well seasoned and caught fresh daily (you can practically see where it was caught from the restaurant). It’s just a quick drive from the sea. The service is also amazing! The owner is so kind and friendly and gives great recommendations for other things to see in Oman if you are visiting. I highly recommend!!

Best place if you're craving for seafoods, the food is amazing and price is very reasonable. I've been visiting this restaurant since 2018, and the services never failed me. Staffs are nice, environment is simple (especially if you love outdoors) and the food is perfect.
If you're a tourist and planning to visit the souq or corniche, I recommend visiting this place as well, it's just around the corner. It will be perfect after a long roam around Muttrah.

On nous a proposé le buffet qui avait l'air en apparence très bon et savoureux. En apparence... Tout était extrêmement fade, pas du tout épicé, aucun goût ou du goût de chèvre un peu partout très désagréable. Pour un prix de 13 OMR par personne ça revient à très cher pour ce que c'est. Sans compter que sur la terrasse il n'y a aucune lumière. On a mangé dans le noir. Extrêmement déçus.
J'ai choisi le buffet et j'ai cherché quelques choses de bon mais en vain.
La moitié des plats goûtent la chèvre 🐐
Je n'ai rien trouvé de bon sans exagérer.
Même les mezze de feuilles de vignes goûtent la chèvre.
Pour ne pas vous mentir j'ai trouvé le jus de citron menthe et le jus de pastèque correct.

Been here twice during our stay at muscat. Good sea food (almond crusted hammour & sea food sizzler). Fast and good service at a decent price.
Authentic Malabar Restaurant; Delicious food, kind and polite staff. Must try the Chicken biryani and layout Chicken. Not to forget the dal fry and beef roast.

Tasty food. Very busy at lunch time. Quick service and attentive staff, they customise the dishes as per your preference. Ghee rice, Dum biriyani, beef chilly are some of their tasty dishes. Economic prices.

Nous avons mangé au Clouds, le resto libanais. Tout était délicieux et en grande quantité . On a eu du mal à finir. Les prix sont très corrects vu la qualité et la quantité. Le personnel est irréprochable. A recommander !
Un déjeuner en self service au calme avec des mets excellents. Pour des français, le vin est passable. Mais ce fut une pause sympa avec une belle vue sur la mer d Oman.

Alright so disclaimer: they are an absolute daylight scam. They overcharged us for three different items which we never bought. After insisting for a long time to show us the bill which they denied initially, we found out that they were overcharging us. They refused to do the refund . Honestly we just went there for a different experience and a different experience it surely was.
Their food was undercooked, shisha was below average and the ambience was just about reasonable. The staff are the biggest scams I have seen. To be honest i would never ever visit the place again.

Ordered a boneless chicken Biryani, and it was probably one of the best I have had in a while, will recommend. Prices are reasonable.
Restaurant égyptien, il y a un libanais à côté si vous préférez ! La vue est splendide, l'atmosphère lounge cosy, avec la belle musique égyptienne.
Magnifique endroit mais c'est tout ! La cuisine n'était pas très bonne... Vous avez le choix entre plusieurs restaurants ( libanais, mexicain, italien...). Je n'ai essayé que le libanais en rooftop, cuisine trop salée. On paye pour le lieu, c'est tout.
