I love this cafe! They serve fresh coffee drinks from real coffee-not instant.
Good bang for your buck. The iced americano was good but ended up being far too strong for my liking. Expect to have a hard time sleeping if you order it 😆
It's a small shop so it's likely to get crowded with 7 tables and a window bar. The staff is more friendly than polite which can be appreciated and relaxing. The coffee is good and the selection of food is small but premium experience. Shakshuka grilled cheese especially!
☕️ was really great also their food choices for lunch. Their regular size for a coffee is already like a grande in starbucks comparison whilst their large are larger than a venti i think.

Ordered: Chicken bowl 5/5
Nice HK style tsa tsan teng. Had lunch and waited for 15 mins due to many people. Ordered beef brisket curry and noodles. Both are good and the servings are generous. The drinks are too sweet but ok. Ordered yuenyoeng and lemon tea.

Bad Cafe serving great coffee and flavorful bites. Tried ube latte with oat milk, no coffee-amazing ube flavor predominate. Coupled it with Calamansi pie, a local adaptation of a key lime pie-wonderful combination of crunchy graham cracker crust, creamy baked whipped cream topping and tart calamansi filling was just a bit over sweet. Nice place to work offsite.

Tried their Hot Americano and it’s good on a Sunday night. I liked it plain and bitter. The price is worth it (including the service charge), which is in the same price range as Starbucks. I would prefer to have a coffee and work here for a few hours rather than at Starbucks.

Perks include free street parking all day every Sunday.

I will definitely go back here to work on a Sunday.

They also employ people with disabilities, which is great. Kudos to the management.

Visited bad cafe for early brunch. Got their salmon terriyaki rice bowl and the terriyaki sauce was just too strong, covering the whole salmon and portions of rice. The salmon bagel sandwich was just too chewy and toasted. The bagel itself was hard to eat. We liked their horchatta latte and their ginger lemonade drinks.

Suprisingly, on a saturday morning, they dont have alot of bread or desserts options, just 1 or 2 pcs.

This was our first time to try Bad Cafe...Kudos to Kuya Ali! When we first arrived there for breakfast, he was the only one working behind the counter and we were wondering if the service would be slow. But he's a friendly and hard-working person...I was really looking forward to trying their Smoked Salmon bagel. Since moving from the US to the Philippines, We've tried other bagels, but always with disappointing results. But the bagel here at Bad Cafe is really "bad"... Meaning it's very good! I was so happy to enjoy the authentic taste... Perfectly Toasted on the outside, soft on the inside...my wife's egg and ham pretzel sandwich was also perfectly cooked...A very nice addition to the Greenbelt Cafe scene!
I ordered the Soy Chicken, and it was average at best. The meat wasn’t as flavorful as expected and was a bit dry.

The service was okay as the waitress took our order promptly. The wait wasn’t too long either.

Overall, this restaurant seems to have potential. If I were to go back, I’d probably try their pork and noodle choices. They also have pastries.
My fave for cantonese roasts because it’s close to where i live. Been visiting this branch ever since they opened sometime late 2022.

Visited recently (July 2024) and quality of their soy chicken better than my visit a month ago.
If you have a craving for a hand crafted cup of single origin coffee, Habitual Coffee is the place to go in Salcedo Village. The menu is small but everything I've tried thus far has been really good. My favorite coffee shop in the area.
The black pepper pork and the Charshiu with scrambled egg rice were awesome! Very intense flavor. I didn't expect this. I never knew that this was a Chinese Restaurant because of the name. I will definitely come back and try their other dishes. Their menu is extensive!
Such a cute cafe away from the usual busy and noisy streets of Makati. The place is so relaxing and smells so good! They play low volume music that adds up to its peaceful vibe too.

I especially like the lunch plate— honey garlic fried chicken(note: strong garlic flavor). Such a big serving and a balance meal ‘cause it comes with mixed veggies as well. I also added adlai, out of curiosity, because I’ve been seeing so much of it on social media. I still like rice better than adlai. Loved the mocha coffee too. The macadamia cookie was just alright.

I’m so glad I visited this coffee shop. Maybe my new go-to cafe now. 🤗

We got Spanish latte, French vanilla latte, slow cooked pulled pork, honey garlic chicken, and (not pictured) homemade cola, and a bittersweet cookie. In total we spent close to ₱2,000 for the both of us.

The drinks cost close to ₱200 each, and the food items a little over ₱300 each.

The space is nice and bright , and there are wall sockets around the cafe. A lot of other people are working on their laptops, so I’d say it’s a good space to work.

There’s a service charge of 10%, and the servers really pay attention to you. They brought out our orders and would clean up plates and utensils as we ate since they saw that we needed the table space for our laptops.

The homemade cola was bomb, and so was the French vanilla latte, although the Spanish latte wasn’t so good. The food was also really good, and I would recommend the rice bowls.
I came here mainly for the WiFi because the comments said it was fast (and free). This is one of the handful of cafes in Makati that has a decent and free WiFi. Not sure why not many cafes do it often (there's a lot of remote and gig workers right?). Apart from the WiFi, I got an iced sea salt caramel coffee and it was quite okay. Overall, I would say this place is good for people who (1) would like to take a quick bite or drink or (2) are finding a place to work for an hour or two. I wouldn't recommend it for hanging out (and making noise in the process) because it's a small and intimate cafe. Try it out when you find yourself in Salcedo Village!
This location has been here long before pandemic. This is not a big store but they do manage trying maximize the seatings for its customers. In addition, they will setup the outdoor seating beside the sidewalk.

I order for their iced latte and it’s quite good. If your favorite coffee shops are occupied, maybe you can give it a try for it.
I had the almond-milk latte which was tasty and of good strength. I appreciated that they had non-dairy-milk options (oat and almond milks).

The service was competent and friendly. I was very happy.

The café is pretty and has a relaxed vibe about it, so I felt comfortable there and wasn't pushed to leave when I finished my drink. I appreciated that.
The food was just ok 👍. The place quite congested for lunch and recommended to add a fan due to the 🥵 heat. Food was served very fast but they need to add more staff during lunch. The shrimp was quite salty for my liking. Other food was ok but nothing special.

I bought a box of egg tart for take out and unfortunately it's quite disappointing 👎. Taste so bland and the tart quite thick- sorry but was hoping it to be at par.

Will I go back 🤔
Pleasant experience and good coffee. Opens a bit late for morning persons - 8am.

Outside tables are available during weekends. Will be back to try the horchata
Nhìn chung thì cà phê không có gì đặc sắc, tuy nhiên khẩu phần 1 ly cà phê nhìn chung ở tất cả các quán ở Manila đều rất lớn. Quán xinh, các bạn nhân viên nhiệt tình.

I like their food and drinks. Especially their coffee. If you want to hang out with your friend in a relaxed and cozy ambiance.

The staff is friendly and the chef is very creative in the food presentation and the way how it cooked. You should give it a try since this is my second time dining there.
A great place to hang out with friends, drink coffee, and meet people. Baristas are friendly and accommodating. Love the atmosphere!

I like how the place feels compact and still comfortable.
Finally got my own stamp card!! Ordered the infamous Tahitian Vanilla and it does not disappoint 🥰 cheaper than other coffee shops I frequent and the taste is better. New faveee!!
Best coffee in UP! The Hungarian sausage is also a winner! #Barako
Tried their Ca Phe Sua Da, and its really authentic!! The Egg Coffee is superb as well... And of course we also tried their Bahn Mi (beef and chicken) Their Fresh Spring Rolls are awesome as well!! Loved it!
Okay na tambayan! Suki mga siklista sa shop na ito and budget friendly ang kape. Friendly ang mga nag operate. Mon-Tues sila sarado. Open ng 8:30am.
A quaint place in an ideal location. You can hear teenaged Vietnamese boys playing cards noisily mixing with Msgr. Gerry’s voice booming from Sts. Peter & Paul Church across the street. The place looks like a garden setting but don’t be fooled if you think that this is a small place for it has a second floor!

Majority of the customers are Vietnamese so it seems that I am in the right place this time 😜

I had the chicken pho this evening. While it could be quite pricey, the serving can do for 2 people. Served on a large bowl and boy did they not scrimp on the ingredients! A lot of chicken slices on this one and hefty rice noodles with tasty pho base. Your pho comes with a glass of refillable iced tea (not the Nestea type mind you but “real” tea!).

There is also a Vietnamese grocery in this place. Do not ask the petite Vietnamese girl about what they are selling because it seems that she can not understand. Assuming she was Filipina I asked if they sell patis-she said no. Sensing her accent I asked if they sell fish sauce and she said no as well. Try looking around the small grocery and right in front of you are boxes of the ever favorite and best fish sauce in the world! And a lot more of Vietnamese goodies!

Two comments though…the place does not accept credit card. And…stay away from the comfort room! If not for a bladder about to explode I would have run out of that place…just make sure you will not need a comfort room when you go here.

Overall, the experience was good. Now I know where to go for favorite Vietnamese food if the craving hits me (Propaganda which I am praying is still open, Pho Bac and Vina Café)…open from 1030am to 930pm daily!
So good I forgot to take a photo of our food! We were hungry too. The vegetable spring roll was whole and uncut. It didn’t matter to me that it was too heavy for chopsticks. I held it with my fingers and dunked it in the not-oily peanut sauce and splashed extra hot sriracha. It was good!

Our beef pho disappeared too. The soup was tasty and the noodles were okay. It didn’t stand out for me as much as the veg spring rolls.

But the coffee was Vietnamese strong. Loved it.

Tip: They have outside seating. Good for not getting Covid but I suggest using mosquito repellents.
