Great school of higher education

Finished this university last year, BA program in Psychology in English. Wouldn’t recommend this university to international students, there’s no support towards them, almost all of the university events/activities/extracurriculars are reserved for polish speaking students. The only thing you could do was ask around your teaching faculty if there are any assistant positions open for their research projects and hope that one teacher will offer you a position. No accommodation help from the university, no help with the documents you might need as an international students (they will give you the documents you ask from them, but there would be no consultation or advice). The organisation is pretty bad, there was a lot of problems when it comes to the administration, whenever I had a question it would often be answered very vaguely and didn’t really help. I was studying during the pandemic years so maybe that influenced the quality of studies also, but the university never lowered the tuition prices during online classes (actually the tuition only grew). Paying more than 4500€ for nothing more than online lectures, seminars and self-teaching modules that were often not engaging (some teachers seemed like they’re about to fall asleep during these) doesn’t sound right. It’s pretty much “pay and get a diploma certificate” kind of university, as there’s nothing else you could gain from this institution as an international student at least. The program is not that bad, only relevant subjects were studied although there was a problem with choosing subjects you want from the 2nd year forward, out of a pretty promising list of subjects that students could choose in reality only some subjects are actually taught and other subjects get cancelled because not enough students sign up for them. So it limits the ability to control our own curriculum.
Also a very negative aspect would be some of the faculty members. There are absolutely great teachers, that engage with students and facilitate learning, also the dean of the program is not just a great teacher, but also always supported the student body with the problems we faced during these years. But for a “pay and get a piece of paper” kind of deal with this university, some teachers appear as if it was their goal to fail students (so they would pay more to repeat the subject?). Some teachers blatantly refused to do their job sometimes and created a lot of unnecessary problems for many students in my year (like simply reading out the slides during a lecture, not answering student questions, giving consistently different answers to the same question, not fully informing students on what the final exam would look like, not fully informing students of the requirements for passing the subject etc.) There was also discriminatory behaviour present for some teachers when it came to online students as opposed to on campus students. Some teachers allowed themselves to talk disrespectfully towards students who were present online, others disregarded the comfort of online students (for example would not fix a microphone during a workshop class even though students reported problems with hearing, or refusing to properly place a camera so students could see the classroom or the teacher). Considering that throughout all the pandemic online students paid as much as on campus, and most of the studies were done through an online platform for everyone anyway, such behaviour is definitely shameful for the university. One class was almost entirely missed by online students due to technical difficulties that the teacher simply refused to fix, forcing students to sit through incoherent noise until the end of the semester (it was fixed later due to student complaints). I truly think that some teachers that displayed this behaviour should be reprimanded, and at least one teacher definitely shouldn’t be teaching at all (the one from cross cultural psychology)
It was a mediocre experience that was more expensive than it should be, at the very least you still get an accredited degree so I settled for 3 stars.

Weszłam jako turystka. Chciałam zrobić zwykłe zdjęcie siebie we własnym zakresie, byłam sama. Ale Pan nie bardzo miło powiedział że muszę najpierw zapłacić. Zapłacić za co ? Za zwykle zdjęcie siebie na telefon ?! Może czegoś nie rozumiem , ale pierwszy raz coś takie mam.

I would not recommend this university to anyone. I am on my first year of Master’s. I chose English Studies. Some of teachers can’t even speak English properly even though classes are supposed to be taught in English. I remember when a teacher started a class in October in the following way “ it’s a new subject to me I don’t know where we will get by the end of the second semester”. Is this a joke? During classes, I am simply wasting my time. Lessons aren’t planned. Literally I learned almost zero. Teachers come to classes with zero planning or with a plan that comes to their head 5 minutes before the class. I am listening to teachers teaching me how to teach but they can’t even do it themselves in the first place…

Poziomu edukacji niestety nie ocenię, ale jeśli chodzi o aspekt wizualny, miejsce jest po prostu przepiękne, zachwyca.

Eğitim kalitesi yüksek, öğrenciler kaliteli, binalar az eski ve bazı yerleri bakımsız. Okumak için güzel bir yer.

Un lieu pour un mélange des cultures...Particulièrement essentiel pour résister aux pressures viens des côtés de gouvernement ultra conservatist de polonais...Un lieu reste encore liberal pour déclarer les opinions divers sans aucune peur d'être jugé sans raisons

Je suis du Cameroun et j'aimerais vraiment fréquenté dans cette université vue les commentaires des internautes me donne vraiment le moral d'y aller, la procédure ce passe comment ? Les frais académique c'est combien pour une année ? Je voudrais faire commerce international (international business) je parle bien anglais et français jai fais toutes les étude en Anglais.merxi d'un réponse université de Varsovie

C'est vraiment super belle et sa me donne l'envie d'aller continue mes études supérieures sur cette grande cité .

Mon plus gros coup de coeur de ma visite à Varsovie

Le très beau campus de l'université de Varsovie mérite le détour. Bâtiments superbes, jardins reposants, fleurs au doux parfum. Le soir, les bâtiments sont joliment éclairés. Entrée sur Nowy Swiat.

Sympathique balade. Aller bien jusqu’au fond pour la vue sur Varsovie (bien qu’un peu gâchée par la voie express) et le canon qui pointe vers l’horizon !

Ich hab die Uni mit meinem Fachbereich von der Tu Berlin besucht und fand es hier sehr interessant.
