0 if i could. I had a disappointing experience with Qatar Aviation Services (QAS) at Hamad International Airport. This is the second time I've encountered issues with their check instaff, who were rude and behaved as if passengers are at their mercy. It seems they forget that their role is to provide customer service. This attitude reflects poorly on both Hamad International Airport and Qatar Airways.

It was an awesome cultural place for visit

Giving two stars due to general consistency but knocking off two-three stars due to recent experiences. With my wife receiving her suitcase back from our London flight late and broken, we raised a ticket with QAS to begin two months of a (still) unresolved dispute to receive compensation. After some unnecessary negotiation about the cost of the suitcase, we were offered a measley 60 US Dollars - nowhere near the cost of the suitcase. Having needing to accept - because there's no other means of making a complaint - we are still yet to receive the amount due to QAS & QA's insistence that the refund is processed through a weblink provided; the only issue being, the link doesn't work, nor does the subsequent ones provided, and despite reporting the problem (as requested), changing internet settings (as requested), taking screenshots of the problem (as requested), QAS & QA seem incapable of providing an adequate answer, remedy or solution, succumbing us to that dreadful place of being between a hard place and a rock. The final insult being, if they just had a paper contingency to account for electronic errors, they could literally give us the cash and this whole unsavoury experience would be over. But no, we remain in purgatory whilst the cumbersome machine that is QAS fumbles customer service at near-Soviet levels of bureaucratic nonsense.

How come we’re coming to Qatar from Sharjah with 6 luggage’s within the acceptable weight range, however Qatar airline service (agents) insisted to consider the the small box a separate luggage that’s less than a 5 kg, we have a handy-cap lady above age of 60, still no any exceptions to carry an additional piece as a supporter ?!

Note we’re From a GCC country, I believe the gulf countries are the best in hosting and understanding each and every passenger situation so they consider the payments, weights, quantities…. etc
Especially they’re speaking on behalf of the other airlines without checking the policies, the best option would be they consult the designated airline , but even though after proceeding with payment, we’ve to search for an agent to push the Wheel Chair? They don’t care!? I experienced a very rude and disrespectful communication, even they’re not able to maintain a professional attitude especially the (Indian) employees of QAS company , they’re taking their backs rather than solving the problem and assisting, have they forgotten that they represents a service company?let them learn shouting with “ its not my business?? “ can end up with very bad consequences, Seriously!
Why are you still working there if they can’t keep the tone down? At least be helpful and guide the passengers! Are they a degree holder because I won’t expect that behavior from a 5 years old kid !!! They don’t know how to maintain a proper conversation?!

Nice environment, nice people

This company illegally held my passport when I was denied entry into Georgia and was sent on a return flight through Air-Arabia. They refused to give me my passport until I paid for the return tickets which they did not have a credit card machine at the time to make a payment, they told me I would have to either give them my credit card with the pin code so they can carry it outside the airport to make the payment past immigration, or I would have to find somebody to pay for me from the other end. This was very shady and unexpected behavior. I did not report this to the police, but in hindsight, I should have
