The castle exceeded my expectations. There are many interesting exhibitions and a vast area to explore. Everything is beautifully renovated. Make sure to set aside plenty of time. Highly recommended! 👍
The Bratislava Castle is a beautiful and historically rich site. The views from the top are breathtaking, and the architecture is impressive. However, be prepared for a bit of a climb to reach it, so make sure you’re ready for the uphill walk!
Situated on Hodza’s square in front of Presidential Palace. Normally people come to see palace, crossing streets or changing for public transport
Wonderful museum, small but very interesting modern art.
You get a free coffee or tea included at the museum café. The lady at the bar was very friendly, and the cake we ordered was great.

Very nice place that is well maintained
Beautiful castle. It burned down and has been rebuild so you should not expect an old medieval castle. But nonetheless beautiful.
The castle is huge so you can go and explore the different rooms for many hours if you want.
The exhibitions was maybe not the most interesting from my point of view. But I still think it deserves 5 starts.

This is one of the best attractions in the Bratislava City. Popular amongst all tourists as this is an old castle and it is located on a hill top. This given you a great view of the Bratislava City, UFO Tower and River Danube. Accessing the castle garden and is free of charge. Entrance into castle building is chargeable. Good place to spend some time relaxing. Recommended.

The view from the hill the castle is amazing. You can see Bratislava from high. To enter the museum there is a fee, but castle surroundings and the garden is for free and very beautiful. Recommend it to visit day and night. Loved it! Best part of Bratislava!
The fountain of Peace is a wonderful peace of Slovakian architecture. I approve!
Mit der Tram Linie 3 aus der Innenstadt von Bratislava hierher gefahren, weiter mich über Trampelpfade und Schienenstränge mittels GPS und Maps durch die Wildnis gekämpft, es hat sich gelohnt. Ein nettes kleines Eisenbahnmuseum mit Objekten zur Geschichte der hiesigen Eisenbahn. Hauptattraktion ist die betriebsfähige 555.3008, eine modernisierte Kriegslok der Baureihe 52, welche von den dortigen Eisenbahnfreunden mit Enthusiasmus und Arbeitseifer wieder hergerichtet wurde. Eine weitere Rarität ist der Turmtriebwagen für den Gütereilverkehr M140.101 von Tatra Nesselsdorf, Baujahr 1928 - leider hat ihn die Abstellung im Freien zugesetzt und es verliert seine Farbe. Eine Beschreibung der Fahrzeuge findet man übrigens auf der Internetseite des Museums.
A nice exhibition of Slovak artists, modern contemporary art, spread on 5 floors. Some paintings were intriguing, some were plain simple, but very interesting. You get a cup of coffee or tea included in the adult visiting price, which is a really nice gesture.
The idea of infinity mirros is interesting, but the price is too high for the 10-15 minutes of seeing the 6 display rooms. The lady at the reception should be less interested on her phone and she should be trained about how the euro bills look like, because euro is the currency of... her own country.
It’s so beautiful. I love the white and gold colours inside the castle. I haven’t been to a lot of castles yet but it’s the prettiest I’ve seen so far. There is so much to see. I think I was there for 3-4 hours.

Preis ist auch in Ordnung 3 Euro pro Person, es ist halt nicht gerade groß aber da wir eine Stadtführerin hatten wurde uns sehr viel erklärt und erzählt.

Nice Castle! I have seen more impressive ones, but still it’s nice to walk through the gardens. Usually the entrance is 14€, but the day we visited it was for free. Therefore, it was really nice to go in and check out the castle. However, i would say for the normal entrance price it’s not worth it, especially of you have already seen other castles before. The view from outside to the city is also very nice!
Be sure to have comfortable shoes on when visiting this location as its hilly. Souvenir shop at the entrance has good stuff but might be double the price vs local street shops.
There is a good view of the Danube River and the UFO building from afar.

Very pretty plaza and fountain. It’s especially nice if you can visit in the evening when it is lit up.
Staat voor de kerk, maar niets bijzonders
This was a very unique attraction. There are 6 rooms and each room was excellent. The 6th room has a video presentation that uses sound and visual effects which was quite unique as well.

Veľmi pekná fontána, stojí za to posedieť si pri nej a oddýchnuť si od ruchu mesta.
Highly recommend! Very good collection of Slovak art. They also have a special activity for kids, which my daughter really enjoyed.

Fontana mladosti se nalazi na početku parka koji vodi ka rezidenciji predsednika Slovačke.

Sehr schönes Museum, deutsche Audioguide. Die antiken Wandteppiche sehr sehenswert.
Schönes Gebäude mit sehenswerten Innenhof. Unbedingt anschauen. Waren nicht in dem Gebäude nur im Innenhof
Waren beim Rendez 2023. Eine wirklich tolle Veranstaltung. Es gab sehr viel zu sehen. Fast alle Bahnen waren in tollen Zustand. Wir kommen sicher wieder!

Tolle Züge, hätte gern mehr dazu erfahren. Leider nur mit Anmeldungen möglich. Spontan ist leider hier nicht möglich. Schlecht ausgeschildert. Schade eigentlich.
Ist gut gelegen, sind jedoch leider nicht hinein gegangen, da es drumrum soviel mehr zu sehen gab. Aber Bratislava ist echt ne Reise wert! Insbesondere mit Kindern

Die Zufahrt an den Schrebergärten vorbei bis zum Ende folgen, kommt man durch das Tor auf einen freien Parkplatz, von da aus kann man frei im Gelände die Fahrzeuge besichtigen.
An der Kurve der Hauptstraße Dopravná 3-1 steht auch ein Schild, wo man abbiegen muss.

Es war zwar kostenloser Eintritt, aber keine Information und auch keine Erklärung zu den ausgestellten Stücken. Unter "Museum" versteht man definitiv was anderes.
Das Primatialpalais oder auch "Palais des Primas" genannt aus dem 18. Jahrhundert ist Zeuge der Unterzeichnung des Friedens von Preßburg...Ein wunderschönes Gebäude wo sich ein Besuch immer lohnt...

Ein tolles Eisenbahnmuseum für Freunde der Eisenbahn mit funktionsfähiger Drehscheibe.ein Besuch bei Veranstaltungen mit Dampfzügen besonders zu empfehlen. Leider stehen noch viele Eisenbahnfahrzeuge ,welche dahin rosten und au Renovierung warten.
Das Rathaus wurde in den Jahrhunderten ständig durch Anbauten vergrößert und hat einen sehr schönen Innenhof. In unmittelbarer Nähe liegt der Primatialpalais.
Auch wenn noch viel getan werden muss oder sollte, sehr gut.
Sehr gepflegte Parkanlagen. Ruhig, da kann man die Seele baumeln lassen
