Loved it,
but the high entry price didn't reflect the diversity of visitor nationalities. The tour guide spoke in the local language as expected. However, as UK visitors we were only given an A4 sheet of basic information in English which was difficult to follow relative to where we were in the caves with no cues as to what areas the information related to. Having to read information on the fly was made worse by sometimes inadequate lighting .

Pretty and manageable building with paintings, tapestries and furniture. Go up the stairs to buy tickets. It was quiet when we were there. Audio guides are included in the entry fee and available in multiple languages.
Nice place to visit. One from the biggest ice caves. Also, one of the caves which melts rapidly, must to visit before it gone.
Still need a jacket inside -4C°
Ticket for person- 12€
Student and kids 10€
Foto/video-10€
Would I visit again?
No, and because of:
1. No English guide.
The group takes 40 people, no English guide, only who speaks Slovakian.
If you want English, gather 40 people, but even if you do, there is no guide who can speak English, and need to inform before arrival.
So our family were going like sheep, because no information at stops in cave.
2. If you buy a ticket for a photo/video, and if you use DJI or GoPro via phone sinchronised, you will be asked to not take photos or videos because ticket is only for one device. At the ticket shop we weren't mentioned that. So if you come with family 3 members, you will be asked to use one phone/camera-lol... No answer, why cannot use both phones (wife's and mine), if a ticket was bought for the whole family.
3. No English brochure.
While entering the cave there is some information in English, how the cave was before, some photos, if you want some history to know what the guide tells, you need to buy it from the souvenirs kiosk for 3€ extra. But it's only a book, not the tour information.
4. No parking slot for hourly pay.
You pay for all day 5€, cannot buy less if you need. There is not so much to do around all day honestly.
5. From parking to cave will take around 30-40min hiking up, depending on your walking. If you are going with elders or toddlers (~2years ols), it will take longer because it's steep uphill.
The cave is fenomenal, five stars, no doubt about it. But there are two major issues why I gave it only three stars. One a ticket is € 23 if you make a photo during the tour. You can pay € 13 and not make photos, feels like a major rip-off and spoils the fun. Secondly you can only go in with a group. Besides that, stunning, amazing, very interesting.

Good to know:
✅ The tour takes half an hour. They stop four times and say something, no idea what because I unfortunately do not speak Slowakian.
✅ The parking is somewhat out of the way, you have to walk up for twenty minutes to get to the entrance.
✅ It is cold in the cave, take along a jacket or sweater.
Huge cathedral which we had the privelage of visiting. More than 500 yeard old, the Cathedral has been built over a cemetery that makes for interesting catacombs. The church has a huge roof which makes it unique. It's constructed with a mixture of Gothic, romanesque and Boroque styles and additions reflecting these 3 building styles.

Very close to the city centre and easily reachable on foot. This church is a must visit for any person interested in architechture and history.
Old baroque building, Italian Frescos inside, fully functioning. Located on Zupne square and hundred meters from Michalska gate, biggest attraction in Bratislava.
Fountain, municipal house and tower are typical monuments on square. Enjoy markets, restaurants, coffee ☕️ shops, strolling 🚶‍♀️ around in Old Town or short hiking to the castle
The cave is nice, but the tour is very short, price of the ticket is pretty high (12 EUR) and they allow to take pictures inside only after paying a 10 EUR fee (LOL). The tour guide was pretty boring and said exactly the same as I could read online, the only time she used a different tone of voice was when one of the visitors held a phone in his hand and she had to imediatelly check if he holds a permit for taking pictures. Additionally you have to pay for the parking. There are nicer places you can see and for a lower price.
A beautiful cathedral with free entry. However, it is worth paying €4.5 to be able to visit the crypt, treasury and choir sections.
To be honest it's very expensive for 20 minutes visit. Also the information provided was only in Slovenian. If you want to take pictures you have to pay extra 10 euros. Will not post pictures from inside because I refuse to pay.

This is the president's house of Solvakia. Located closer to the city center of Bratislava. There's a park in front of this palace and people can sit and wait here while relaxing. This palace is not open for public. This is one of the overrated tourist attractions in Bratislava.
I went to visit this ice cave which is very beautiful and spectacular. It is one of the most beautiful caves I have ever seen.

However, as a foreign tourist, the guides don’t speak English and I couldn’t understand the cave presentation. Adult admission is €12 and a photo permit is €10. Seems a bit much for what they offer.
This is one of the iconic buildings in Bratislava. Located nearly the centrum of Bratislava. You can not miss this place in your travel itinerary as when you walk in Bratislava you will walk at least 2 - 3 times across this gate. Towet top is open to visit and a Ticket should be taken.
Tickets are 6€ per adult person, but you have to buy it in lekáreň u červeného draka which is very interesting pharmacy near Michael's Gate . There is a beautiful view from top. I recomend visit this place..
Beautiful cathedral in the heart of the old town in Bratislava. Totally worth a visit. Entrance is free and you not allowed to take pics in time of mass. It’s also nice to stroll around the church in night.

Quite crowded place. Staff is not very friendly and there wasn’t tours for English language speakers. Only for Slovakian speakers. Good to see once for quick visit.
My first ice cave so I really liked it. Photo ticket is 10 eur. I think it's worth it. Especially if you have steady hands and can make good photos in dark spaces.
Famous entrance built in 1300's with unique architecture and historical heritage buildings in surrounding streets, great traditional atmosphere
Ziet er heel mooi uit. Ook een mooie tuin.
Very pretty cathedral in the heart of old town Bratislava. We visited on a Tuesday afternoon and it wasn’t busy except for tour groups coming through. It’s free to visit so I highly recommend taking the time to stop as you tour the old town or return from a visit to the castle.
Helaassss
Michaels Gate is the only medieval city gate in Bratislava. So it is an important attraction for tourists. The ticket has to be bought at a pharmacy a few meters away. I had a Bratislava card which covered the cost of entrance.
This palace is the most opulent palace in Bratislava. The rooms are beautifully done and it would be a great experience if you could attend an event in the Hall of Mirrors (pic attached).
Located at the Main Square of Old Town in Bratislava
A beautiful and a masterpiece fountain that is 16th-century with the statue of Maxmillan II.
Open 24 hrs. in 365 days/nights free
Located at the center of Old Town Bratislava and it was closed when I visited here.
The structural exterior is quite renovated but still you can see the original materials that being used dated in 1300 years.
Free entrance if you purchased Bratislava Card
Old Town feel, cobbled stone walkways, many restaurants options, many historic sites nearby, hour plus train ride from Vienna
Lovely cathedral. Eye-catching all the time you go past. Place used for coronations. If you can try to take part in mass, they have beautiful music.
Beautiful palace attached to the town hall, both worth a visit

We went there and we were alone! I don't know why people are missing out on this gem. It isn't even expensive. Around 2-4 bucks per person
Small remains of medieval city walls. In the middle between 2 walls you cand find history of significant Jews from Bratislava history (hence Židovská = Jewish street is just across the main road). Also there is nice view on cathedral and behind the walls is tiny square with garden where some small concerts are organized from time to time.
Walking by this cathedral you will feel the old age.
Try to follow the path of the crowns. This is the way every king was following for his coronation.
Great experience to walk the wells
Cathedral in the heart of city center. Entrance to main building is free. You pay a small money only if you would like to see tombs, sacristy and other similar rooms.
On top of the tower is crown instead of cross. That's because this cathedral was the coronation place in the past.
Absolutely lovely! I unfortunately didn't visit inside, which I'm saving for my next visit to this beautiful city! There was a mass on at the time I visited. The outside is breathtaking however so can only imagine the inside is just as nice. Easy location to get to, plenty to do around here aswell.
Not too much to say on the walls. There is some information of the other side of the road on the walls themselves. Old, walls. Not much more than that.
Lovely human scale square brimming with history if you look up close. I advice food or a drink at nearby Brixton House
A beautiful building with a lot of history. The tickets are from the pharmacy nearby, took me a while to find it. I paid for a Bratislava Card which gave free entry (and to many other places). Initially the spiral staircase is steep but the rest of the stairs are fine. Each floor tells you more about Bratislava and the history and structure of the tower. I have a fear of heights, I was fine inside but outside was windy and got the better of me! It was a Sunday and there was only me in there at 10am
This city walls were the defensive walls of the old town bratislava in the old days. This place is visible from the highway. The vibe of historic place is real in this place
welcome to Bratislava!!! a country you shouldn't missed when you visit Prague...very nice, quite, and authentic European city...
It was a beautiful attraction in the heart of Bratislava. Right in the middle of the old town, this gate signifies the medieval times. Dating back before 13th century, this gate has been a prominent spot for Bratislava old town. There are many restaurants and souvenir shops nearby. The evening lights make the place more beautiful.
To be totally honest I had no big expectations when visiting Bratislava as the city is out of the radar as a main tourist destination. And so a few spots like this charming square come as a nice surprise. Human proportion, crowd free and very liveable. You can tell that the urban requalification had been made with great care.
A magical place and square in the center of Bratislava. It's great to visit during the holidays, day or night. An excellent play of light and shadow takes place in the evening due to the fantastic lighting. Across the street is a Starbucks, lafići, restaurants with local and authentic cuisine and specialties of Slovak cuisine, as well as several pastry shops with incredibly delicious ice creams of various flavors. Carmouth Patisserie is a must visit. Be sure to take a walk in this pedestrian zone and enjoy the variety of offers, pictures and pleasures that this part of the city has to offer. On the other side is the church and the city museum. There is an entrance fee, but it's worth a visit.
The fountain does not even appear during the Christmas market. Hlavne namestie square takes on a completely different look in December, because it is decorated with numerous stands with Christmas offers. In the evening, movement around this square is quite slow due to the abundance of visitors. The walls around the fountain serve as a place to rest or have a quiet snack.
It's very hard to promote the pain and suffering this monument represents. Built to commemorate all the people that lost their lives trying to escape communism and is extremely symbolic of what those times were like including the bullet holes.
