Food is delicious and very reasonably priced. Traditional Slovakian cuisine. Was recommended by our tour guide.

Friendly staff but the restaurant gets very busy and full, we waited some time to go in, not too long, but service was very slow.

Definitely recommend but maybe avoid the main lunchtime hours.

The quality is soo good, my panino was sensational.
I took the Leberkäse, again for mistake cause I was thinking was a normal burger, and it’s the most delicious thing that I ever tried.
The girl at the cashier is so nice and very smiling, I felt warmed welcomed.

The food was absolutely delicious! We ordered the "pork sampler" which was pork ribs, pork knuckle and thick pork slices and the "potato sampler", cheese dumplings with bacon and sour cream, potato noodles in cream sauce, and potatoes with cabbage. We also got a potato pancake to split as it was the size of a whole plate. Everything tasted amazing and I wish I lived here so I could try everything on the menu 😭 Our waiter was super nice and the food came out super quickly. Highly recommend!

This used to be one of the best restaurants in town. With an atmosphere and food of the monarchy.We loved coming here. For us it was a bit too late to discover that it is under new management and turned into a Tesco frozen isle pizzeria. Most uncomfortable chairs, dirty toilets. Food is mostly heated up frozen food with fridge taste. Service is horrible (glasses dirty, cutlery missing) Avoid if you can.

We were not having high expectations because the place was one of the most touristics in the city however the food was great and we were very satisfied. The atmosphere is also unique but I would recommend visiting Slovak Bar which belongs to the same owner, has the same menu, lower prices and the place is much better and more warm than this! Except the typical dishes I would recommend the tripe soup which was amazing

The food was really really nice, we had the traditional Slovakian sheep’s cheese potato dumplings topped with bacon. Whilst the portion looks small, it is perfect in size as it is really filling. There’s plenty of seating inside and the interior is really pleasant. The menu is expansive and looks quite reasonable in terms of price. Would love to come again, I recommend this one

Dobrý večer ..prvýkrát píšem recenziu .. žiaľ na záver pekného večera s priateľkou nás čakalo nemilé prekvapenie … V menu máte napísané, že aperol stojí 5€ a pri pokladni si pýtate 11€ za jeden , ako vážne ? Aktualizujte si prosím menu… nič v zlom ale toľko som neplatil ani vo Viedni za aperol… nikto nás na to vopred ani neupozornil.. a pri pokladni nám nikto nepovedal dôvod keď sme sa na to pýtali to akože z brucha dávate ceny ? smutné, ale aspoň atmosféra bola pekná.. ďakujeme :) vo fotke prikladám pokladničný blok, aby som vopred varoval iných

Ak si chcete pokaziť peknú chvíľu, tak tento podnik určite navštívte . Objednali sme si predjedlo, polievku, hlavné jedlo, aby som bola úprimná tá jedna hviezdička bola za dobre uvarené cestoviny, pretože tie jedlá chutili otrasne. Focaccia caprese, ťažko opísať toto jedlo ale s focacciou nemalo naozaj spoločné nič 🤷🏼‍♀️ pridám fotku kde to človek sám zbadá, polievka z koncervy a cestoviny v omáčke z prášku a aby som nezabudla na aperol, ktorý stal 11€ a bol spravený z nejakého lacného prosecca po ktorom ostala pachuť v ústach. Cestoviny na fotke vyzerajú super ale chuť je príšerná a ešte aj tie zemiaky boli surové… Na konci keď sme si vypýtali účet, čašník, ktorý nás celý čas objednával štýlom “rýchle nechce sa mi” nám ponúkol po našej sťažnosti tiramisu, lebo zevraj to nám chce poslať kuchár, samozrejme sme nechceli, pretože nepotrebujete ochutnať ďalšie zbytočné jedlo… Takto vyhodených peňazí vám príde naozaj ľúto 🤦🏼‍♀️

Likely the worst eggs benedict I have ever seen. Served on untoasted bread. Uncomfortable seats and rude waitress. There are much better establishments around.

Good restaurant with a small car park in the courtyard. The traditional dishes are perfect, especially with the local green wine. Unfortunately, I can't recommend the pizzas, as the dough used is not suitable for real Italian pizzas.

Everything was perfect for us. We arrived in the late afternoon when hardly anyone was there but when we were finished the place was hopping. We ordered the tagliatelle dish, the risotto with sun dried tomatoes and a Cesar salad. Our only problem was that e ordered too much but no problem cause we ate it all anyway. They have a small but robust list of beer and wine choices as we as many other beverages. We were served by a young gentleman that could not have been more helpful.

One of most the popular Slovakian restaurant with a great atmosphere, capturing the local vibe with its charming, old-school decor. While the food may not be to everyone’s taste, it’s good and pairs well with their excellent beer. A true local favorite for an authentic experience.

I visited this restaurant with my friends two days in a row. We really loved the food here, it was amazing. All of the meals were tasty and we didn't have to wait much. 13 of us went here and there were still free tables for us for lunch. The staff were sometimes a bit strange for us, but they were lovely. Some of them don't really speak english, but we could understand each other. Overall, we had a great time here. We would love to come back here again later

We had lunch in this restaurant today. The dishes were excellent, the young waiter spoke English so he could help us with Slovakian cuisine. Excellent value for money. Highly recommended

Nice atmosphere, but the food was so-so. My chicken was overcooked, dry, and tough. The sauce was salty and greasy. I could not finish my meal, so it was an unreasonable waste of money.

What a wonderful restaurant in Bratislava. Love the outdoor atmosphere (they have indoor seating also). Great service and delicious pizza! Boris was wonderful and interesting to talk to! We highly recommend eating here when visiting this beautiful old town!

It’s a small restaurant and pub for a sandwich and a drink. Found it a bit pricey for what they offer but decent enough. Has some tables inside and outside too. I had the duck sandwich n was ok 👌🏾

“We recently visited Restaurant Houdini, which turned out to be overrated. Initially, I was impressed, but that changed quickly as we waited an hour for our main meal. I ordered a medium-rare burger and received a well-done one instead. After such a long wait, I didn’t want to send it back and wait even longer. Throughout the hour, there was no communication, compensation, or service recovery for the delay. Disappointing experience overall.

Great selection of local dishes, big full portions, tasty currant wine, a lot (a lot) of space so it's a pretty safe choice when you go for dinner and don't want to overcomplicate it. The venue is beautiful too, it's a former theater. Service could be faster, but not a deal breaker, just don't go when you are in a hurry.

We tried authentic Slovak food here and really enjoyed it. Halusky was delicious. The service was attentive, and we appreciated that they are dog-friendly, welcoming our small dog inside :) Highly recommend

We came for lunch on our one day in town and it was amazing! The food was great, the service was great! My only regret is that my eyes were bigger than my stomach.

Perfect spot for us to try Slovakian food for our only meal in Bratislava. We were keen to avoid the tourist traps closer to the centre of the old town so thought we'd eat closer to our hotel. This restaurant has a lovely rustic feel and they make an extra effort with presentation. The waitress was attentive and spoke excellent English. We ordered the Shepherds sharing platter which was delicious. We were there almost until closing time but didn't feel hurried. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend or revisit.

Found this place by chance, and what a find! I ordered the pulled duck baguette... Food was fantastic, really tasty and full of flavour. Initially a bit confusing how to order; don't go to the side hatch, go inside the door. Beer was also nice. Prices were very reasonable. Definitely recommend.

It's not really obvious that it's a restaurant (it's more of a pub) and it shares the entrance with a photography museum. Maybe not the best place for fine dining but the best place for good food.

We visited the restaurant for 1st time. In the restaurant were working 2 beautiful ladies, that might think that beauty is everything in the world. They were rude, especially the one with the black hair. They didn't even speak to the customers and they had an at least non professional behaviour. The food was good, not perfect, and the atmosphere was acceptable. I give 2 stars only for the two ladies, that make me to not want to go again. If they are bored, it's better to stay in their house.

This place is awesome! Literally the best street food we ever came across, the chicken burger was out of this world, and pulled duck was outstanding. It's definitely worth visiting, and the beer selection was great. Can't put it to words, you'll have to try it out yourself.

After a nice day of walking around the castle and the city center, we stopped off at The Farmhouse Restaurant! The place was quite busy, but we did not feel rushed and were offered several recommendations.

Die Pizza war früher (vor etwa 1-2 Jahren) die vielleicht beste der Stadt. Mittlerweile scheint v.a. bei den Zutaten (Mozzarella zu fest; kein Ricotta in der Calzone) in der Qualität gespart zu werden. Die Bedienung ist nicht gerade hoch aufmerksam (trotz geringem Aufkommens dauert es lange, ehe man bedient wird) und die Lautstärke der Musik finde ich einem Restaurant unangemessen.

Great food, big offer of craft beers, friendly staff and cool energy of the whole place. Had one of the best chicken burgers. The girl at the bar was really nice, she helped us choose the beer considering what taste we prefer. Definitely visiting again when I come back to Bratislava.

Zdravím! Dneska sme prvýkrát navštívili toto miesto, strašne sme mali chuť na pizzu a aperol, v ponuke reštaurácii sme to našli, interiér bol pekný, všetko vyzeralo celkom útulne, ale už na začiatku komunikácie s personálom sme boli dosť sklamaní. Objednali sme si 2 pizze a 2 krát aperol, už tak asi po 10 minútach čakania došla čašníčka a spýtala sa čo sme si objednali, lebo že vraj im sa stratila objednávka, ale boli sme s tým úplne v pohode.
Potom po niekoľkých minútach zase došla a povedala, že nakoniec aperol vôbec nemajú. Namiesto aperolu kamoška si objednala Campari Spritz na základe odporúčania čašníčky, podľa nej to malo byť skoro to isté, ale po ochutnaní kamoška pochopila že sa to vôbec nedá piť, natoľko bol horký a hnusný ten drink. Ja som dostala namiesto Malibu koktejlu nejaký rum alebo likér napriek tomu, že som upresnila že chcela by som práve koktejl. Keď mi drink doniesli som povedala, že nie je to to, čo som si objednavala a už sme vyzerali byť dosť sklamaní, ale obsluha na to bohuziaľ vôbec nereagovala, žiaden krát sa neospravedlnila. Na prosbu pridali kamoške do toho hnusného Campari Spritzu nejaký syrup, stále to chutilo veľmi zvláštne, ale dalo sa to piť. Mali sme pocit, že jednoducho to, že sme sa prišli tam najesť im robí fakt problém.
Po dlhom čakaní došla pizza, tá chutila fajn. Jediná vec, čo zachránila túto večeru.
No a najlepšie bolo pri zaplatení, na bločku sme uvideli, že naše najprv otrasné a potom zriedené syrupom drinky stali každý 11€ (najdrahší Spritz, čo som kedysi mala stál asi 8€), v menu bolo napísané 5€. Čašníčka bez žiadnej emócie povedala, že tá cena je iba za ten likér, a prosecco a všetko ostatné sa platí navyše, na čo nás vôbec neupozornili, a nikde to nebolo zaznačené v menu.
Bohužiaľ taká sklamaná som ešte nikdy nebola, aj s tým, že vždy sa snažím byť veľmi trpezlivá a chápavá. Pomer cena-kvalita pre nás bol najhorší, zo všetkého, čo sme zažili…s tým že vždy radi zaplatíme dobre peniaze za dobrú skúsenosť.
Interiér a pizza aspoň trochu zachránili túto večeru.

Toto je prvá negatívna recenzia v mojom živote.

V tejto reštaurácii sme boli na Valentína. Urobili sme si rezerváciu a privítala nás milá čašníčka, ktorá bola po celý čas maximálne ochotná a príjemná. Jedlo neprišlo príliš rýchlo, ale čakanie stálo za to. Objednali sme si paradajkovú polievku, taliansku pizzu a špeciálny slávnostný dezert - čokoládovú penu. Všetko bolo veľmi chutné a krásne. Pizza bola dostatočne veľká a veľmi výdatná. Aj interiér potešil svojou harmóniou a štýlom a stoly boli ozdobené lupienkami ruží, čo bolo veľmi romantické. Určite odporúčam.

Cozy & relaxed place, great food, excellent team. The portions are good size and the half a chicken with rice is a plate for serious hungry person 😅 or may be 2 can share easily.
Note, if you are a group of 4 or more, do reserve the table. Also, they are fully packed during 12.30-14.30 so be prepared to wait.

French toast was delicious. Comfortable warm place to spend a couple of hours before getting a train.

The food was all outstanding, huge portions and very fresh - great prices too compared to the local competition
They adapt the music according to who is in the restaurant at the time: My wife was talking music with the waitress (married to the chef!) and, the 2nd time we went there she played those artists

little touches like: ‘blankets on the seats’ (mid December!!), and remembering you and what you ate the day before - all makes you feel welcome!

Prijemne prostredie s výhľadom na hrad plus výborná talianska kuchyňa s rôznymi špecialitami v rámci ponuky každý víkend . Vyskúšali sme pár jedál a všetky jedla ako cestoviny , pizza aj maso boli vyborne dochutené , kreatívne skombinované s prílohami a vizuálne na oko . Dobrá kuchyňa , pekne prostredie a príjemná obsluha je značka kvalitY . Hodnotením veľmi vyborne

Strávili sme 3 dni v Bratislave, keďže tu chodím kvôli liečbe.

Mali sme možnosť vyskúšať reštauráciu Bocca Buona. Chodili sme tu na raňajky a tento krát sme mali večere.
Jedlo hodnotíme na 5 hviezdičiek z 5-tich.
Vynikajúce, kreatívne naservírované.
Obsluhu v reštaurácii musím hodnotiť na 1******.
Boli sme nadmieru spokojní a radi sa opäť vrátime.

Die Pizzen sind geschmacklich sehr überzeugend. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und professionell. Das Ambiente ist okay, wir hatten die Pizza zum mitnehmen bestellt. Preise sind hoch, aber gerechtfertigt.
