The place was really great, we got to make elephant food, feed them and wash them. Elephants did some tricks but were treated well, didn't see any signs of abuse. People were very kind, they even sent me my shoes after I forgot them, and were in general very nice. Highly recommended

Would give it 0 stars if I could, it’s advertised as an elephant sanctuary where the elephants are looked after and cared for well however it’s completely the opposite on arriving there was no information given you are just told to cross a field to the elephants you are not shown around or told any information about how they are looked after or where they are from. When we asked staff if they where rescued one man just laughed and was very much out of it and was not at all fit to look after animals. The pens where tiny and they where forced to walk in there own waste and had ropes around there necks with bells for decoration, they where not free at all and where not allowed out of the pens. Please do not spend any of your money here as it’s absolutely not going to the well being of the animals, it needs closing down.
Het is gewoon Thailand, eventjes dieren gezien. Mensen en dieren hebben samenwerking. Ze krijgen eten en verzorging en daarvoor werken ze. Net zo als wij dat ook doen. Niks verkeerds eme.
We procured a package for food preparation, feeding and bathing the elephant. They really organised well. They provided the clothes and guided for food preparation with at most care. The gigantic creature with child nature is amazing to play in the water during bathing. Finally we got towels for us for the bath and ended up with the juice 🥤
Ik schaam mezelf dat ik hier ben geweest. Ik had een tour geboekt waarbij we langs deze plek gingen. De olifanten worden niet goed behandeld en uitgebuit voor toeristen. Echt belachelijk!

First time up close and personal with an effalump, we had been warry, but the ones we saw were happy to be paying us attention in return for some small bananas and / or a bit of sugar cane, small and large baskets of these can be bought at time of paying entrance fee Sanctuary was very close to our resort, so I was very glad we listened to others and took a stroll. Very memorable and a great experience.

Elephant Home khaolak🌿🏡 🏠🌿
The baby elephants 🐘 are cute especially the one name Thung Ngoen, He is playful adorable, cheerful and bright. We can feed him 🐘🐘🐘🍌🍌🍌 Bathe him and have mud Spa with him. The area is spacious suitable for elephants. Each elephants is perfect 👌👍When we see him🐘🐘🐘 we feel comfortable. Iike he is really at home. 🏡🏡🏡🥰
Avoid this place at all costs if you truly love animals and truly love elephants. We rode past on our motorbike and saw 4 elephants chained by their feet and all rocking back and forth, doing the same repetitive movements - a classic sign of any animal in distress and suffering mental health issues.
When you ride an elephant you are damaging its back bone and spine. The elephants we saw had seats on their back - this actually makes female elephants infertile, as their fallopian tubes are near to the spine where the seat sits.
If the villagers say they are treated well - that’s a lie - look at the video here with the guy holding a stick with a spike on - how do you think he controls the elephant? With kindness?
You should find a camp where you only walk with these beautiful creatures - instead of getting Instagram moments with tortured elephants.

We had such a nice time with the elephants 🐘 they looked happy and healthy in their little jungly home and enjoyed a scrub in the river. The lady took many pictures of us feeding and walking the elephants, they also gave us a family picture in a frame while serving us watermelon and water. Can recommend it! Just book via WhatsApp.

A small elephant home. The elephants are well taken care. Staffs are very friendly and the price is not shocking. Visitors can feed the elephants, bath the elephant in a small canal or join a care program which will teach them how to take care of elephants.
Amazing experience here! They seem to treat the elephants really well, and the staff were very helpful answering everyone's questions.

Also, one of the staff made little crowns out of these big leaves as we walked through the jungle with the elephants. They looked really good and they were just made out of leaves! He tied it all together with sticks, and gave them to a few people in the group. Super nice touch :).
Nice experience. You not only interact with elephant, but also can experience to ride raft in the river. Not to much shop available there so prepare your own food
So the people seemed very friendly. And it was so wonderful to be able to feed these elephants and also to be in a river and bathe an elephant. I do like the fact that they do not let you ride the elephants. I was told that in the evening time that they let the elephants roam around the land (but that’s just what they told us). I didn’t like seeing the elephants in their cages when we were there. It made me feel uncomfortable and the elephants have been trained to do fun tricks and things for the tourists so it’s like they have become like a pet. So my heart is torn about this place. I am not an elephant expert but the elephants seems eager to enjoy the food we prepared. They seemed all in good health. The female elephant we bathed was 25 years old and she flapped her ears a lot which is typically a sign of enjoyment. I think they probably have a decent life but it’s hard to say.

A really beautiful experience, and simple too, you can just show up if you just want to see and feed the elephants a bit. You can book a bigger experience (bathing etc) but for us the magic of seeing, feeding and patting these magical creatures was more than enough!

Great place to enjoy seeing elephants up close. You can purchase baskets of fruit (2 sizes - 1 small for 100Bht or large for 200Bht). Entry is 100Bht pp but children of a certain age are free.
Igazán jó élmény volt az elefántfürdetés, és a hátán utazni. De az odavezető út is kúlönleges volt. Mutatok néhány képet.

We booked directly through the website, for the 45 minute bathing experience. The price included return transport from our hotel.

What a fabulous time! The elephants have almost a square mile of land with forest and a shallow stream, and their welfare is what the home is all about. Our 3 year old elephant obviously enjoyed her time with us in the water, and eagerly took the food from the baskets included. The guide was helpful, and we spent almost two hours in all at the home. Souvenir photo, water and fruit snack all included. A highlight of our Thailand adventure.
Great local experience for Thais and foreigners alike. The camp is very natural, refreshing and relaxing. Elephants are playful and enjoy themselves in the river. The staff are very friendly and helpful.
Feeding elephants to eat bananas, interacting with elephants, and sitting on bamboo in the river, is a scene that most people have never seen in the city. The whole trip is very interesting~ very happy.
