The location of the Resort is perfect - just a short stroll from bustling market so u can easily explore local shops and eateries. The Rooms r not only clean n comfortable but also thoughtfully designed.Breakfast is another highlight offering a delicious variety of options to start your day. The beach is clean n is ideal for both relaxing and swimming.
Overall Krabi resorts is the perfect choice for a memorable seaside escape.

I was only here for the bar crawl, but it was an incredible experience. You do get fairly drunk but it is totally worth the 2000 THB that they charge you for it. Would definitely recommend the bar crawl, the bartenders are very friendly and most of them speak fluent English. Overall 10/10 bartender “junior” was incredible and was very friendly and made the best cocktails we have had so far.

Years ago, we stayed at the New York branch, and today, we find ourselves at the Bangkok location. This hotel undoubtedly ranks among the top ten we have ever stayed in. Its vibrant colours and stylish design immediately exude a modern and energetic atmosphere. One of the most impressive aspects is the room’s air conditioning, which is as quiet and comfortable as that of the Mandarin Oriental in Bangkok, ensuring a peaceful and restful environment. The room itself has been thoughtfully designed, with wheelchair accessibility in mind, featuring spacious doorways and well-placed handrails, showcasing the hotel’s attention to detail and inclusivity.

The swimming pool and gym facilities are equally outstanding. The gym’s scale and equipment are world-class, and our family had a wonderful time here, creating lasting memories.

However, there were a few drawbacks. Firstly, the restaurant’s food was fairly average, and the Thai noodle soup I had for breakfast was, unfortunately, the worst I’ve ever tasted. Secondly, despite the hotel being located in one of Bangkok’s tallest buildings, our room was on a lower floor, which meant the view was less impressive than anticipated. Lastly, there was a management issue when another guest’s pool expenses were mistakenly added to our room bill, highlighting some flaws in their billing system.

Here are my personal ratings, with a maximum score of 5 points:

Couple, stayed 3 nights, on 2 occasions, in August. Worth a splurge since could not afford to stay at a similar place in North America or Europe. Gorgeous and quiet (standard) room, picture-perfect hotel, wonderful pool, impeccable service. Breakfast à la carte has great vegan options and the breakfast buffet is world class. Took a private river cruise on smaller boat (do not recommend eating on board (tea), awkward and distracting - better to take larger full-menu dinner boat for groups). Only cons: paucity of vegan options for lunch/dinner. Bad odor momentarily wafting into AC from nearby night market (probably only happens in rooms on the north side of hotel). However, visiting said market is great.

Incredibly stylish, quirky decor throughout the property. Seems like a lot of thought went into the standout design.

Attracts both families and the young, glitzy crowd. Boring businessmen in their 50s were limited, phew. Had a refreshingly casual atmosphere despite the 5*.

We had many odd requests - housekeeping at 4pm; GRAB deliveries at 2am - which staff complied with with enthusiasm.

We upgraded to the Superior King Room which was more than worth it. Not exactly a suite, but definitely felt like one. Ask for a high floor with city views.

In-room dining was amazing (and beats some of the meals we had outside in the city).

To start with good things the location of the resort is one of the best as everything is at a walkable distance.

To talk about rooms: we selected the deluxe room for which we were allocated a newly furnished room which was smelling of the paint and wood very strong. Even though the room is furnished new a couple of issues with the room such as the power point for the lights and night lamp is far from the bed. The bathroom dry and wet area even though separate the water spreads across the bathroom as they did not make the slope for the water to flow properly.
The WD is placed so badly that it hurts on the left side when you try to pull out the tissues. The sink was not that clean. There were no bathroom or room slippers available. There are no knobs in the bathroom to hang your clothes. Now that's all about the room.
Coming to service: we called the reception that the room was not getting cooled but no one came.
The breakfast menu is more of continental so no options for vegetarians as the grilled vegetable spring roll was kept next to the chicken dish in the same bowl.
Their mini golf area is nothing but just a small garden
Pool is ok not that great.
Overall the experience was not like a resort but like a 2 star property.
I would not recommend this resort for a stay in Krabi. I have heard that there are better hotels and resorts nearby and would recommend to check that too. Don't go by the photos online.

I was there last week . Nice place . Closer to the markets . Staff was helpful . They helped us loading our bags in the room . Gave free coffe and bananas. We stayed there for 2 nights.

Absolutely loved it.
The staff in every department were incredible, rooms very very comfortable and HUGE! I thought the breakfast Buffett was one of the best in the world, I wish I wasn't trying to eat a bit less, but the variety was astounding.
Dinner on the rooftop was sublime, food, view and presentation, faultless and superb value overall!

Incredibly beautiful hotel, fantastic location with great views. The dining experience was not as good as I would have expected. However, this could have been my menu choices. Will definitely be visiting again. In my opinion, the atmosphere at the peninsula , just over the river, surpasses the oriental.

在考艾的這間酒店，住宿很有特色,火車卡由Bill Bensley 設計,整間酒店有大自然中雅痞設計的質感。住在園區可以沿湖散步,觀賞天鵝，聆聽鳥叫,十分惬意。預約了很有特色的遺產火車房,能夠有住火車房的經驗非常棒。下午茶室也是火車車廂,質感不錯。比較可惜的是員工服務比較無法及時溝通, 一早告知一小時後預訂了包車司機，但等了45分鐘才有下午茶，結果要很快速把下午茶吃畢，所以服務就打了小折扣。餐廳chef table有gran monte的美酒,但餐食少了特色。早餐頗豐富,尤其在火車房裡in room dining,食物豐盛,感到開心舒滿足。海鮮燒烤,食物很多,但蟹優於蠔優於羊、 牛、豬燒烤。早餐有冰滴咖啡,但建議更換帶有酸、水果 味而非苦但無層次的咖啡。

池畔酒吧也很有feel, 可惜會員在這裡無酒廊或下午茶或 evening cocktails 的福利。可以和員工用whatsapp連繫,但不大即時。希望能多找英語溝通無礙的員工。

還算特別的火車住宿體驗,火車住宿是獨一無二的。

Good service but one young Thai lady reception does not smile and has a grumpy face that looks angry all the time.

The hotel is a good location to find food, massage and drink.

Sehr gut gelegenes und ruhiges Hotel. Infinity Pool wirklich sehr sehr schön. Würde das Hotel allen empfehlen. Bad war nicht sehr sauber aber trotzdem Preis Leistung sehr gut.

The Standard Bangkok of the highest level of taste in term of interior design. Each element has been carefully curated in all areas of the hotel from the reception, through to the lifts, dinning and common areas as well as rooms. There is no feeling of trying too hard just perfect balance which makes it a very hospitable location where one can rest but also the right ambiance and vibrancy from the evening onwards. We faced an unfortunate inconvenience and the handling of which by the Management exceeded our expectations. We felt truly cared for valued as guests. Based on this experience, my partner and I have already decided that we shall exclusively stay at The Standard in our future Bangkok visits! Must try!

I stayed with family in Krabi resort in 1st week of May 2024. The location is really great, one side beach and another side market. 7-11 outlet and Govinda veg restaurant is just walkable(less than 200m).
We stayed in villa near pool, booked 2 joined room. The villa are well maintained. Rooms were quite big and has all facilities. It was just next to pool, there was good sitting arrangement outside but could not use it due to summer weather. Pool was really good.
Our room was little inside but electric car was always available on phone to pick/drop within the resort.
We had breakfast but did not like it as there was not any veg except bread/fruit.
we really enjoyed the beach as it was private.
Overall i really recommend you this.

Great place to stay relaxing. Enjoy a lot for walking path which took around 2.8 Km per round. All staffs are nice and feel warm welcome all during staying there. I also purchased breakfast and it has completely what I need. Bicycle around swan lake is what you don’t miss it. Saturday night has a live jazz music and Sunday night has a movie show

The Cafe was closed during Covid but now it's opened at a different location which is better on traffic. The ambient, of course, is more modern but similar layout. All my rewards were loss due to new system.

I had lunch before I knew it's reopened so I had my usual favorite, hot chocolate brownie sundae with warm whipped cream (no sure if whipped cream was warmed or the brownie), it's still taste great and now they had small size for one to choose which was even better 😋 Highly recommend this dessert.

The service was good but struggling, understood everyone were new but very hospitable, as usual.

Wir waren für 4 nächste außerhalb der Saison dort. Sehr großes Resort, allerdings wie „Tod“. Die Zimmer waren groß, es hat aber unglaublich unangenehm nass gerochen. Der Duft war so penetrant, dass sogar alles im Koffer nach 4 Tagen danach gerochen hat!
Ich würde auf jeden Fall nicht wieder kommen, weg zum Zimmer sehr mühsam

Although we had a room facing 2 roads, it was nicely isolated. However, we still had problems sleeping because the fridge was pretty loud. Unplugging it solved the issue but it would be nice to find another solution. Other than that, the room was clean, the staff was super helpful and the location was just perfect as the hotel lies in-between the morning, afternoon and evening markets.

Lage ist top mann kann sehr viel von dort aus unternehmen und ist glei am Strand.
Frühstück ist nicht der Wahnsinn deswegen der Stern Abzug

Wir hatten ein Executive Zimmer mit Blick auf den Ozean.
Die Bilder im Netz sind stimmig. Der Ausblick eine Augenweide. Das Bad einfach toll gemacht, mit offener einsehbarer Dusche. Auf Kopfdruck wurde die Scheibe milchig, so das man vom Zimmer nicht mehr gesehen werden konnte.
Das Hotel liegt etwas von der Straße entfernt und es ist absolut ruhig in der Anlage.
Am Pool ist es mit Liegen und Sonnenschirmen sehr knapp, da auch die Gäste aus den unteren Bungalows den oberen Pool mit nutzen.
Das Frühstück völlig in Ordnung. Die Zimmerreinigung mit Handtuchwechsel ist top. Das gesamte Personal freundlich und Hilfsbereit.
Das war unser zweiter Aufenthalt dort und wir werden wiederkommen wenn es uns nach Krabi zieht.

Leider nur zum jetzigen Zeitpunkt eine Empfehlung für die Lage und den Infinity Pool. Liegen sind sehr gut ,die Aussicht ebenfalls.Die Matratzen im Deluxe Zimmer sind leider zu hart, mal sehen wie die Abhilfe aussieht um die wir gebeten haben. Update: Abhilfe keine, haben uns Luftmatratzen kaufen müssen. Zimmer, Hotel in die Jahre gekommen, liegt dafür sehr angenehm ruhig. Zimmertemperatur ohne Klimaanlage dennoch angenehm, Klimaanlage funktioniert einwandfrei. Update: seit Tagen, merkwürdige Geräusche im Zimmer , heute nun eine Maus im Zimmer , die hier wohl schon länger das Domizil aufgeschlagen hat. Werden jetzt um 23:00 erstmal mit dem Untermieter leben müssen. Sauberkeit am Pool stark verbesserungsfähig. Achtung kein Fahrstuhl in obere Etagen vorhanden! Essen zum Frühstück in sehr mäßiger Qualität. Update: heute sehr schlechte Qualität , Schärfe Zutaten im Essen für das Frühstück ohne Hinweis. Sehr unangenehmer Start in den Tag .

Sehr zentral und doch sehr ruhig gelegen. Große saubere Zimmer mit gutem Service und sehr nettem Personal. Frühstück in Ordnung und Recht reichhaltig mit Toast, frischer Zubereitung von Omelette, Rührei oder Spiegel Ei, europäischen und asiatischen Speisen, Salat sowie süßen Teilchen. Zwei saubere Swimmingpools, davon der obere mit tollem Blick und Poolbar. Gepflegte Anlage.

Rooms have huge private balcony with a VIEW of street, which is very nice.

They have complimentary bananas and tea/coffee at the reception for all the guest. Which is again very nice.

Sehr ruhiger romantischer Ort, alles im Stiel der Eisenbahnwaggons gestaltet und mit Bahnhöfen in denen sich zum Teil die Zimmer befinden

Krabi was our first stop in Thailand and we booked Orchid for 2 nights. We felt welcomed immediately with great service and hospitality.

Our room was VERY clean, everything worked. AC cooled the room quickly. WIFI is strong, water pressure and temp were good while we stayed as well.

We will definitely stay here again if we travel back to this area of Krabi.

Definitely a great stay for short term. The staff is extremely sweet and friendly. You can leave the bags if you come earlier or leave there after check out. Great Location and everything else was comfortable. It can get noisy on the hallway or with the fridge in the room sometimes but nothing too bad :)

Wir haben auf Booking ein Zimmer gebucht und eine Bestätigung erhalten. Als wir dann einchecken wollten würde uns gesagt, dass die Buchung falsch sei. Man hat mit uns überhaupt nicht kommuniziert warum wir nicht ins Zimmer können und, dass das ein Fehler von uns sei. Allerdings haben wir eine Bestätigung und der Booking Support, hat Bestätigung verifiziert. Hat nichts geändert…. Ein Stern, am liebsten 0! Von außen ist es etwas in die Jahre gekommen, also 4 Sterne sind auch zu viel… Des Weiteren war der Service unhöflich und hat teilweise das Gespräch abgebrochen und sich anderen Gästen zugewandt. Alles in allem unprofessional und unhöflich!

Sehr schönes Hotel. Die Zimmer sind wie Zugabteile eingerichtet. Sehr außergewöhnlich!
